Early September 2026 Weather: The weather at Mt. Omuro is unpredictable. Check the official website before you go to see if the cable car is open.
We checked the weather forecast that morning and bought our tickets on Trip.com.
We were very grateful to be able to buy tickets on the same day, avoiding wasting money due to weather issues.
We took the Ito Line from Atami Station to Ito Station (about half an hour).
We happened to catch the goldfish-themed tram with graffiti design and arrived at Ito Station. We saw the bus stop right outside.
(Using the Ito-Izu Bus 2-day pass for 1800 yen)
Take bus I 65 from Ito Station to Cactus Zoo Station. Get off there and you'll reach Mt. Omuro! 💚
🎫Round-trip cable car tickets purchased on-site cost 1000 yen. Showing the Ito-Izu Bus 2-day pass will get you a 100 yen discount, making it only 900 yen! 👍🏻
There are restrooms at the entrance, and also on Mt. Omuro.

The bus is convenient and comfortable. You can buy a ticket on the trip, but if you know your departure time from the airport, it's best to book in advance to avoid waiting.★

It was really comfortable and great. Since I stayed at a hotel near Tokyo Disneyland, I got off there and used the service again when returning to the airport. Trip.com offered affordable rates, and the ability to book instantly via QR code was incredibly convenient. Also, when I arrived earlier than my scheduled time, they checked the seating and allowed me to take the earlier vehicle if there were seats available. This saved me time during my trip and made the experience very comfortable.★

My first time riding the Tokyo Limousine Bus was a great experience! It's incredibly convenient to get from the airport into Tokyo without having to drag your luggage around on multiple trains, which is a huge relief for travelers with a lot of luggage.
The bus seats were comfortable, and the interior was clean. I could relax or enjoy the scenery along the way. The driver was very steady, making the ride very reassuring.
If it's your first time in Tokyo or you're traveling with large amounts of luggage, I highly recommend taking the Limousine Bus. It saves you a lot of trouble carrying luggage and transferring between buses. I'll definitely take it again next time I'm in Tokyo!
