The network offers excellent 5G availability, fast data speeds, and easy eSIM activation before arrival. In real-world use, streaming, navigation, video calls, and social media work smoothly. The merged True–dtac network has strengthened overall performance and expanded coverage compared with previous years.
You can install the eSIM before departure and connect immediately upon landing, avoiding airport queues and physical SIM registration. This is a must since the Thailand Immigration uses a QR Code as arrival cards. You won't need to physically fill-up the arrival card.
Coverage is particularly strong in Bangkok and Pattaya where most tourists spend their time. Data is also available all-time we were are at the River Cruise. Even had the chance to do a live video call.★

Once I landed in Thailand, the eSIM connected to the network within minutes. I used Google Maps for navigation, WhatsApp to stay in touch with friends and family, and social media throughout the trip without any issues.
The connection was stable, the speeds were fast enough for everything I needed, and it was really convenient not having to swap physical SIM cards.
