Reason for Purchase: I booked this in advance for travel between Hakata and Kokura as I was planning to visit Kitakyushu Aruaru City. It was great for saving time on round-trip travel! How to Use: The date of exchange equals the date of boarding! Please note that if you exchange it in advance, it will be processed as used immediately on that day. On the day of travel, issue your ticket at the exchange machine → have the stamp verified at the ticket gate with a station attendant → board the non-reserved car. Tips for finding a seat in the non-reserved section: It seemed that the non-reserved section usually consists of the very front two cars and the very back two cars. We were able to sit down on both the 9:30 AM departure from Hakata and the 4:30 PM departure from Kokura. If you line up for the non-reserved section in advance, it felt like there were plenty of seats available on weekdays! **Reason for Purchase:** I booked this in advance for the Hakata ↔ Reason for choosing advance booking rather than on-site purchase: We were familiar with using the app as we had already booked our flights and accommodations entirely through Trip.com. It was also convenient for us, as we are the type of people who plan our itinerary and transportation in advance before traveling. Price Comparison: The price was approximately 1,600 yen per person based on local rates. We also looked at other platforms like Klook, but there were slight price differences depending on the time of day or package composition. For us, it was more convenient to book everything at once through a platform we were familiar with.

Money is money, but it's also incredibly convenient not to have to prepare cash. Just show the driver the screen when getting off the bus, making riding the bus incredibly convenient.
