We booked double bead room.spacious room with balcony. Not near kawaguchiko station, walking around 15 minutes. However very nice scenery along the way. There is welcia supermarket 200m. Located between 7 11 & family mart. Each convenient store need to walk around 500m.

Bathrooms are sheared, have male and female sections, very clean and nice. If you’re not a fan of public bathroom, there is an option to have shower in private. However, both times I was there first late at night around 11 pm and then in the morning around 7 am, I was alone and could lay down in onsen. Bedding is traditional, as it was advertised

Great location, friendly staff, nice room. We stayed in a private room and they provided towels and toothbrushes. All common areas were clean. There were shower gel and shampoo in the shared bathroom, wich is nice. There is a good restaurant across the hostel. The only thing I don't like was the smell in the room. It was strong and unpleasant. There is no window to open to get rid of the smell. It was hard to stay there long. They use air fresheners to deal with the smell but i don't like it too. I prefer no smell indoors at all.

2nd time visiting this place as they have a great private onsen with view of Mt Fuji. Although we arrived late at night, they already had onsen booked for us without us having to ask.
