Hotels With bar in Shanghai, China

It was an interesting stay. Great location right off the shopping boulevard. The hotel has a bar and two restaurants. A spa, a foot spa, and gym. We had lounge access which was a nice bonus but not really worth the extra money. You get free breakfast, appetizers from 6-8, and lounge access for coffee and sodas from 1-930. The breakfast was yummy. Offered a wide selection of food with regional dishes to western foods. One of the few places I’ve traveled outside the US that has actual bacon. We never waited but there was a sign saying there were peak hours. Check in was great. I had an issue with a bag left in a DiDi and the front desk agent went out of his way to help me get in touch with driver to recover my bag. The room much like the rest of the hotel feels trapped in that fake opulence that was popular awhile back. The shower was awkward because of its shape but it did have a rain shower which was nice. One of the few hotels I’ve been in lately that didn’t have the bath stuff bolted to the wall (though it probably wouldn’t fit). Huge tub and large fluffy towels. My daughter and I both left with some bug bites from our stay not bed bugs but definitely something. The biggest drawback to the room is the lack of functional outlets. One bed has no open plugs or usb ports the other bed has a wonky extension cord with some usb ports. Found one other usb in the room in the desk area. The hotel is doing some work apparently later this month so hopefully they bring it into this century. One thing I didn’t discover until the next day is there is an entrance from the back of the hotel right on the big shopping street. There’s also a cute little food court right there where you can grab a pretty decent variety of food. One warning is didi and food delivery have a hard time with the address

The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming! We arrived early, and they even managed to get a room ready for us for an early check-in. They also offer a Disney shuttle service, which is super convenient. You can order takeout here too. The environment is lovely and exceptionally clean – you can run your hand over the bed frame and find no dust at all. The room practically looks identical to the pictures. Highly recommend!

I’d love to highly recommend this hotel. My stay exceeded all expectations. The lobby features an elegant style with pleasant lighting and layout, creating a quiet and cozy atmosphere. The staff are warm and courteous throughout. Special thanks to Jerry, who is efficient, thoughtful and extremely friendly. Check-in was smooth and seamless, with great attention to detail and professional service. The place is clean and tastefully decorated, making guests feel totally at ease. It’s ideal for both leisure trips and business stays. Truly a wonderful experience. Strongly recommended!

This time, when I brought my child to Shanghai for a trip, I still chose the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road. After a tiring full day at Disneyland, we arrived at the hotel and were grateful for the room upgrade to a suite. After checking out, we realized we had left a bag behind. A big thank you to staff member #066 who helped us find it and even arranged for it to be couriered home. The service here is absolutely amazing! Thank you very much! ❤️❤️

This hotel is located on Changshou Road, within walking distance of Metro Lines 7 and 13, making it convenient to get to Jing'an Temple and the Bund. There's a wide variety of dining options nearby. The rooms are business-chic and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and Australian toiletries. High-floor rooms offer excellent views. Public facilities include an outdoor pool and a gym. The breakfast spread is extensive, and there's a Thai restaurant and a Western restaurant on-site. The concierge and room service are attentive, though there can sometimes be a wait at the front desk during check-in. A downside is that room access is restricted to your floor, and parking is charged. Overall, the value for money is upper-middle among five-star hotels in the city, making it suitable for business travelers.

We had a great time in this hotel! As two foreign tourists we had no issue with communicating with the hotel or the front desk. The rooms were clean and very spacious for the price and its vicinity to Disneyland. Furthermore, the shuttle service was great and helpful, they communicated with us clearly for both our departure to Disneyland and our arrival back to the hotel. The staff were incredibly lovely going as far as to bring us food when we checked in late because they were worried we had not eaten. Thank you so much to the staff! The cats were adorable too!

The room exceeded my expectations. I spent a long time searching for a hotel around the pedestrian street. The room was very clean, and although the bathroom wasn't huge, it was tidy and well-maintained, and the hot water was excellent. The hotel's location is great; it's about a 7-minute walk to Huangxing Road and about 20 minutes to the Bund. The hotel is easy to find, and there's a bus stop right outside. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

As the second Kimpton in the magic capital, Fengxian has been looking forward to the high-end international hotel after several years. Nine trees Kimpton has its own characteristics. Through this stay experience, the advantages and disadvantages are as follows. Advantages: Good location, located in the core area of Fengxian, next to Jiukeshu Art Center, close to Jinhai Lake. Not far from Fengxian Tianjie by car. Compared with Fengxian JW Marriott, they each occupy the best location in Fengxian. The hotel occupies an area that is significantly larger than traditional hotels. It is like a small park with various green landscapes. The interior decoration is in Southeast Asian resort style, the front hall and other areas, and the decoration is quite distinctive. But the corridors in the room area are very ordinary, not even as the group's low-grade Indigo, and VOCO. The hotel is intelligent, the TV is clear, and the various hardware basically meets the grade. The room with a bathtub, the bathtub is quite big. Hotel air conditioning is very good. The breakfast quality is good, the baked bread is delicious, and there is rare cold coffee. The only obvious drawback is that the pineapple in the breakfast is difficult to eat. In terms of service, the overall affinity of the front desk is good. Now IHG's are very good. This is better than Hyatt and Hilton. Talk about the shortcomings: 1) Mini actually needs to be charged. For a newly opened hotel, in the case of such a volume in the general environment, there is an extra charge, which is completely incomprehensible. I don't know if it is stingy for cost reasons, or does the management not understand the market? In addition, the drinks provided by the charged Mini bar, which is Sprite Coke, do not highlight local characteristics and local culture at all. Very perfunctory. 2) The hair dryer is not Dyson's. I knew that the newly opened Indigo has all standard Dyson. The higher positioning Kimpton is not Dyson, it should not be. 3) If the spare parts are, the texture of the toothbrush and the toothpaste selection can be said to be inconsistent with the hotel grade. But the quality of the men's razor is quite good. 4) Although the hotel area is large, many outdoor spaces do not organize interesting bodies. The project inspection is a bit wasteful. In addition to the accommodation, there are limited items to play, and there is no special bar and resident singing. 5) For the smell, what surprised me was that the smell in the room was almost handled. But the public area, especially the corridor, and the big banquet hall. The smell is still very big. 6) There is no special gift for the first guests who opened. Since the minibar is not free, do you have to do better in other aspects? Overall, this Kimpton has its own characteristics, the opening time is also very good, the network's spread of promotions brought good opening traffic and customers. But if Kimpton is to be of the grade and standard that makes guests feel better than Indigo, it is still worth improving.

The hotel's location is excellent, right within the core Lujiazui scenic area. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the 'Lujiazui Three-piece Set' are all within easy reach, and subway access is also very convenient. The staff were all warm and patient. Vinnie, who checked me in at the front desk, was enthusiastic, professional, and efficient. My room was on a high floor with a great view. Although it's not a brand-new hotel, it's very well-maintained. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. For anyone visiting Shanghai, staying here is really a great choice!

I made a special trip to leave a review after my stay, and it was a perfect experience. The hotel boasts an excellent location and a warm, tranquil interior design. The rooms are well-laid out, and the cleanliness standards are strict. The bedding and bathroom amenities are of good quality. What truly impressed me most was the hotel's overall service quality. The staff are well-trained, proactive in anticipating guests' needs, respond efficiently, and are friendly and approachable. There's no mechanical, rote service; instead, every interaction feels genuinely warm. While good facilities are fundamental, the exceptional, personalized service is undoubtedly the hotel's biggest highlight. Consequently, I extended my stay by another night, and Lynn at the front desk thoughtfully accommodated my request. This is definitely a hotel I'll choose again.
