The location is excellent, the Chateau de Loches is within easy reach, shopping is also very convenient, you can walk there, and the breakfast is rich.
There are restaurants and bars near the hotel, and the consumption is not too expensive, a cocktail is 9 euros.
The design style of the hotel is the main reason that attracted me, it has its own characteristics and is not a standardized chain hotel.
Pour une nuit pas plus, propre juste ce qu'il faut literie à changer oreiller à revoir chambre côté route un peu bruyante de l'autre côté ça va
Porte difficile à fermer et ouvrir
Petit dej ok
The town is very quiet from the appearance of Champs-Elysées. Dinner should be booked in advance.
The hotel was first built in 1519, so there is no elevator, it is understandable, the corresponding wooden stairs will have a certain noise, sleep with earplugs can solve this problem.
Breakfast is not bad, coffee is optional. The salmon in the dinner menu is not bad. This is avoided as much as possible in the picture. Some chicken may be mixed with the taste of the ingredients ham. It is a very special taste and may not be suitable for everyone.
It is almost the best hotel in the area, in the city center, within a ten-minute walk from the train station and famous European churches. The hotel is very traditional, the rooms are very clean, and compared to the small rooms in many European hotels, this one is spacious. My colleagues said that their room is not exactly the same as mine, as if every room is not exactly the same. The hotel's restaurant is also authentic French food, and the order of eating is very particular, and there is a lot of wine. The bread for breakfast has a strong wheat flavor, which is very delicious and chewy. If you eat too much, your cheeks will be a little tired 😄. There are desktop fireworks for birthdays.
Blois has a unique geographical location, located between Paris and Bordeaux, and is an important town in the Loire Valley. If you want to visit the historic castles scattered in the Loire Valley, this town is a good choice. The First Hotel Blois is a budget hotel with small rooms and complete basic facilities. The most important thing is that parking is convenient. Most of the guests are overnight tourists. The parking lot full of cars at night will be cleared quickly the next morning. There is a beef restaurant next to the hotel. McDonald's restaurant and LIDL supermarket can be chosen within 10 minutes by car, which is quite convenient. It is 18 kilometers away from Chambord Castle.
Large parking lot, nice staff, convenient to travel around the Loire castles. New rooms, but please give a bottle of water and at least a kettle.
Breakfast is so-so, only croissants of 3 types of cutting, 3 cheeses, cereals and coffee. There is not even a classic omelette, instead of it a strange egg.
Located close to the historic center, you can conveniently leave your car in the underground car park to explore the city. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast lacked nothing.
The hotel looks brand new, is really well kept, well clean and the service and the staff are very professional and friendly. The location of the hotel is great, right in the center of Amboise, and the parking is very convenient. Also the breakfast is great. The room was really good, great large comfortable bed. The only odd thing was that the hotel blocked 200 euros as a deposit in my credit card, as if I was renting a car, never saw this before in my multiple years of travelling.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my deep respect and praise to all the staff and management of our hotel. With their excellent service and meticulous care, they have created a hotel environment with beautiful environment and complete facilities for us.

Whether it is the luxurious decoration of the lobby or the warm layout of the guest rooms, it reflects the designer's unique vision and superb skills. Every detail is full of artistic sense and life breath, making people feel as if they are in a quiet and comfortable world.

They use practical actions to ensure the hotel's hygiene standards and provide us with a clean and comfortable living space.

They interpret the service concept of ”customer first” with practical actions and bring us a feeling of being at home.
Finally, I would like to praise the hotel's management team. While ensuring the operation of the hotel, they always focus on improving the quality of service and environment. Their wisdom and decision-making have provided us with a high-quality accommodation environment.
Here, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to them. Their efforts and achievements have not only enhanced the reputation of our hotel, but also brought a pleasant accommodation experience to each of our guests. Let us look forward to their more wonderful performances in the future.

Great
GGuest UserThere were several items which I was unhappy about and had I been informed of them prior to booking I would have stayed somewhere else.
On checking in were asked to supply our credit card for a 200 euro hold to be placed on it! I find the requirement completely outrageous in that you seem to assume that I'm going to cause some damage to your hotel and want to be covered in the event. That is totally unacceptable in the case of two 70 year olds staying for one night. Had we been a party of young lads on a stag night out you could understand it. Sorry bud......not on.
It was late when we arrived and were very pleased that there was a restaurant on the premises to revive ourselves. The menu was very narrow as was the wine list and the food wasn't very appetising. I wouldn't eat there again.
We visited the roof top bar which was deader than a funeral home and so we took ourselves back to the main bar for the rest of the evening.
The lift has confusing information . On the outside it lists the floors as 1, 2, Reception. When you get into the lift it has buttons for 1, 2, 0+ and 0-. Not a word about reception and of course we went to wrong floor for reception. A small thing but annoying and easily fixed.
There was no stairs from our room to the reception that we could find either. I'm fairly sure that a stairs is a legal requirement in the event of a fire but I couldn't find one. And I looked twice!
On the positive side, when we left the next morning, a really nice chap checked us out and when I got into my car I discovered that the lens from one of my glasses had popped out . I went back into the hotel and the hotel porter who had just checked me out could not have been more helpful. We found the lens beside the bed and made the repairs. Your man is wasted in the hotel porter role. You should give him the top job in my opinion.
I won't be rushing back.
GGuest UserFor your stay, Novotel Orléans offers the ideal blend of comfort, modern amenities, and convenience. Located just minutes from the city center, the hotel features spacious rooms, a seasonal indoor pool with sona and gym room, a restaurant serving French cuisine, and family-friendly services. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Novotel’s welcoming atmosphere and excellent service make it a top choice.
YYINGThe hotel is an old building, it looks very classical, but it seems that the paint is still used to hit the floor, the taste is very big. Because I went back to dinner very late at night, I lay down and found that the taste was already in the middle of the night. I was sorry to disturb. I sat with the window open for one night and was very helpless.
TTraveller DatThe double rooms are very nice. However on my second day I switched rooms to a 4 bed room and the shower was dirty with hair in it. The garden is nice, but the staff didn’t allow us to sit at the jazz show without ordering a drink and the next day at the same garden I was having some fruits and the staff said I cannot eat or drink in the garden???
GGuest UserThe food was very over-priced and of poor quality.
The room was way too hot and paying so much for a 4-star hotel room, having paper cups is not acceptable. The exterior of the hotel looks very shabby, the lack of a sensible location as it is very difficult to navigate to just added to the gaggravation. The staff were pleasant and some helpful but it is all over-priced for what you got. The eV chargepoints in the piravte car park were a welcome addition for an eV driver but the first one I tried didn't work so I missed the opportunity to get a full charge during dinner which gave me a lot of issues the next day.
JJames DobleI recently stayed at the Hôtel de Bourbon (the Mercure one) in Bourges, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a little piece of history while still having all the modern comforts you could want.
My room was a classic double, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent—properly supportive after a day of wandering around—and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with good water pressure. Everything felt freshly renovated (they did a big update around 2018), with a nice blend of modern touches and the old abbey character. Some rooms overlook the park, which must be lovely in summer.
LLynnette DawnThis hotel is beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely luxurious and very comfortable. There is a lift to access the rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is free car park just behind the hotel, which we found easily. The area feels very safe. You can also pull up outside the hotel on the parking bays, and the hotel will provide you with a free permit for 2 hours so you can unload your baggage and settle in before parking your car in the carpark. The hotel is just a short walk from the beautiful river setting, bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
RRimka850Only critic that I can say is that the entrance that leads to the hotel could be improve, it felt like we were going to get lost in the middle of a jungle 😅.
Other than that, beautiful rooms with a private terrace, very tasty food in their restaurant that we went for the bistro but definitely need to try out the fine dining one next time, even the breakfast was full of choices from French to international style. Stayed for one night with my fiancé but definitely will come back for more!
