we stayed one night at the HOTEL INN DESIGN CHARTRES – the hotel is located on the Chartres ring road about 10 minutes drive from the centre ( sat nav 48°26'18.8”N 1°31'13.0”E /// 48.438544, 1.520273 or 31U east 390559 mE north 5366101 mN ) – the English speaking reception offered a warm and friendly welcome having stayed previously , the room was a good size being clean and comfortable – a kettle was provide -but no coffee dinner is only available through the week – so we found a takeaway Pizza in town breakfast was excellent a good selection and plentiful Car park is good Have used in the past - Would use again if in the area

Chers homologues consommateurs, je souhaite attirer votre attention sur la mauvaise tenue de cet hôtel afin que ce qui nous est arrivé puisse être évité à d'autres personnes. Écoutez cette mise en garde et FUYEZ ! Je mets la note de 1/5, car il est impossible de mettre 0/5… Nous avions réservé dans cet hôtel, puisque la note google me semblait tout à fait correcte, avec le recul et notre expérience, je ne peux m'empêcher de me poser la question : les commentaires positifs n'auraient-ils pas été générés par des bots ? À ce jour, c'est l'explication la plus logique pour justifier cette note de 3.8/5 qui me parait incompréhensible. Je me suis décidé à rédiger ce commentaire, car je ne prends jamais cette peine, mais que j'ai l'impression que c'est une des dernières ”armes” qu'il reste aux clients de nos jours, ça et les associations de consommateurs. Notre besoin n'était que de courte durée puisque nous étions en Villemandeur, une seule nuit pour un mariage à la ferme de Vimory. Nous avons dû rester, en tout et pour tout, 7 h dans la chambre 27 de l'hôtel ”Inn Design Resto Novo Montargis”. Notre retour de mariage s'est fait vers 4 h 45 du matin avec un besoin pressant de prendre une douche, car il avait fait très chaud durant cette journée d'aout et cette soirée sur la piste de danse. Je vais vous lister ici ce que nous avons découvert en arrivant dans la chambre :  Une douche qui coulait à peine, la pression inexistante, tout juste de quoi s'y laver les mains. PAS D'EAU CHAUDE, ni dans la douche ni au lavabo. Une douche cassée qui nous est tombée sur la tronche. Un tour de douche qui fuyait, nous nous sommes retrouvés avec plusieurs centimètres de flotte dans la salle de bain et la chambre juste le temps de faire les tests avec l'eau. Une chasse d'eau qui fonctionnait à peine et qu'il fallait enfoncer à l'extrême pour utiliser  une chambre minuscule dans laquelle il est difficile de cohabiter à deux Une couche de poussière sur la tête de lit et les lampes Des liseuses hors service. Une bouilloire cassée sans couvercle et une belle trace collante à côté de cette dernière Une télécommande pleine de crasse qui semblait avoir bien vécu. Je vous laisse imaginer que nous avons dû nous coucher en l'état... au matin, et suite à nos plaintes, il nous a été donné la possibilité d'avoir accès à une autre chambre, la numéro 20, afin de pouvoir prendre une douche. Cette dernière fonctionnait, mais elle fuyait également et de la poussière volait dans tous les sens dans la chambre. La chasse d'eau était dans le même état que dans la chambre numéro 27. En termes de sécurité, il nous avait été donné un digicode un peu plus tôt dans la journée pour pouvoir accéder à l'hôtel à notre retour de soirée. À notre arrivée, la porte était ouverte et le digicode sans doute hors service dans les autres déconvenues, je précise aussi qu'il nous a été impossible de récupérer les clés avant 17h alors que la cérémonie était à 15h et que tous nos amis disséminés dans deux au

The hotel has a bell and a bell pool of water, and it is too hot, but the boys have enjoyed a half hour. Inflexible on check-in saying the room would be ready at 17:00, after a variety of hurry and laughs to take you around by them, carefully not to get the chief in the next office, They continued to postpone the allocation of the room .. and finally hand keys at 17.30. Check out is at morning .... Furthermore, I didn't understand the room number of the apartments, instead of helping me by writing them or by saying a number at once, she was shocked to continue to repeat the numbers in full in French. In addition to the fact that when I spoke to her in English to complain about the late room, they did not understand and started to answer me in this language.I'm sorry, but as a client I didn't like it at all, total lack of friendliness and professionalism.

I actually spent more than on a budget hotel to come here as I thought it would be more sociable. The reception staff are friendly and the bar area is nice. Bike storage is good although the door got left open a lot. The room was small, no problem, and clean, but had no chair and because of a protruding picture on the wall you couldn’t sit lengthways on the bed, only sideways. So in the bedroom you can only lie down or stand, effectively. Maybe I was unlucky but there was a group of schoolchildren who chatted noisily outside my room to 1130 when the teacher arrived to put them to bed. The kitchen was very small so it’s not like a uk hostel where most people cook and there’s lots of chat. The “chill out room” was set up as a meeting room, so not so chilled but at least somewhere I could sit down with my laptop, although 4 floors from my room. Oh and when I went to the restaurant, which looked good, I went in, no staff appeared, there were people eating there. I went to the serving hatch to be told the restaurant was closed. I couldn’t see any notice saying this. So ok, but not very cosy or comfortable.

The hotel is in a yard. The environment is very good. The location is relatively good. A taxi is required anywhere in Tours. The other is that the restaurant always has flies to fly, both inside and outside. Although foreigners don't care, I can't accept it. !

Room: the queen bed was more like a king. Had a love seat sofa that is a pull out. Full length mirror, hair dryer not attached to wall, only liquid soap at sink & shower(for toiletries ). Air con was great!!(on sept 12!!) Parking: 8€/24hr & it is “in & out”! Attached to the back of the property off of the back patio with tables & chairs. Hotel: full bar with beer taps(was able to get a free huge glass of ice here!) breakfast room with tables & chairs, & lobby with sofa & tables & chairs(with scrabble, trivial pursuit , books,cards. So very nice common areas 24/7 & also a vending area with drink, snacks, toothpaste, etc. WiFi work well!

Hôtel qui a des prix raisonnables. Les chambres sont propres, simples mais franchement tres agréables. Bémol au niveau de la douche il faut pas être trop fort autrement vous y rentrez pas. L’accueil est chaleureux et tres professionnel. Le jeune homme était charmant et il nous a renseigné sur les restaurants et sur l’hôtel avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Le petit déjeuner est à 7€ par personne et franchement le choix est vraiment varié: jus d’orange frais, jus de pomme, pain, viennoiseries, pancakes, yaourt, fromage, jambon et bien entendu céréales, café thé chocolat chaud. Gros gros bémol le bruit, alors que l’hôtel est au bord d’une route le bruit des voitures ne vous gêne mais à l’intérieur c’est insupportable: aucun respect de la part des autres clients, portes qui claquent, les gens qui parlent super fort dans les couloirs, les enfants qui crient, le bruit de la salle de bain de la chambre voisine etc. Si vous voulez faire une grasse matinée ce n’est pas de lieu mais pas de la faute de l’établissement juste un manque de savoir-vivre des autres clients.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. It is outside the city and is a great place to explore some places from there. The hotel makes a very new design. Breakfast is great. There is a swimming pool (outside) with a few chairs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had the right to park our bikes in the washroom. There is a large parking space with many load points for electric cars. Wi-Fi is fantastic throughout the hotel.

The location is close to the shops and a shopping centre. The room and above all the water room are narrow, but at least you have a private water room which is not the case with the hotel F1 next to. Wi-Fi is very low and it's bad.

The hotel price is really nothing to say, clean and tidy, there is a microwave oven, basic kitchenware, you can cook for yourself. The only thing that is not so good is that there is some noise around. I don't know if it is a special situation or something. I have been clearing the trash can to collect the trash can in the early morning. It is really noisy and noisy. There is also a loud noise in the hotel refrigerator, but the overall is good.

Transit stop driving through France to Spain with dog A lovely hotel for a transit stop. Rooms are small but modern with good air conditioning. Lovely walk in shower and very comfortable big double bed possibly king sized not sure but great night sleep. They offer a breakfast croissant hot drink and juice for €3.50 very good value . Dog friendly hotel we have used multiple times would recommend. Close to huge Auchan hyper market for food and fuel .

The location provides a walk-able access to the Loire River. The Staff at the reception is very helpful and co operative.They explain everything patiently! The Closed and covered parking provides peace of mind for keeping the car.

Château D'artigny & Spa in Montbazon is nothing short of astonishing in size and splendour. Whilst dated, the room was still excellent and the public rooms, reception, bar and restaurant are simply opulent. We absolutely loved the bar and the bar manager was a charming chap. The grounds are expansive and have to be seen to be believed. A short drive to the marvellous city of Tours, it is ideally placed to explore this historic region. Our only regret was that we did not stay multiple nights. We will be back again to rectify that!

Having used Camponile in France before it was an easy choice to try them again on a recent trip across France. I knew I was travelling this way so made a reservation a few weeks earlier, I received a warm welcome and even my poor French was understood however the chap on reception spoke English. My room was the usual finest green in all the land but was nice and clean. I had booked a twin room as it was just me and was cheaper on the website but I was given a lovely double on the ground floor I liked not having to use the stairs. I booked a meal in the restaurant for opening at 1900, I do like to eat earlier but over the years have become accustomed to the later eating times in France. I did have to move from the first table I sat at as the aircon unit was super loud but the second table by the window was fine. I chose the simple steak and the recommended wine, This was very good wine but cost more then the meal as I later found out but hey ho a nice treat after a long days drive. Slept well in the usual comfy bed had a great shower. I make the journey across France regularly and now am torn between this place and the campanile in Orleans but will defiantly stay in either of them again,

Very nice and easy to park

We have visited this hotel a number of times over the past 15 years or so, including for some special occasions. Firstly the positives, the staff at reception were absolutely great and the manager and staff in the restaurant were also excellent. We had requested a change of room and this was facilitated without any fuss and again the reception staff organised this while we were out. The first room we were in had a very poor bathroom including the shower. There are no slippers or tissues in the rooms which though small items were indicative of what we saw as the small things being let slip. It appeared to us that the hotel is now focused on being a wedding venue and less attention is being paid to hotel. The breakfast was really disappointing and we were comparing it to one available at hotel we had stayed at immediately before arriving here. The coffee machine was a complete disaster and the staff appeared to be very inexperienced and failed to seize the fact that there was a problem and only agreed to make coffees when it was pointed out to them that machine was not working properly. Another guest spoke to me at the machine and said that it was inexplicable that we couldn't get a decent coffee in Italy. The selection of fruit was really poor and it appeared as if staff just added different fruit to top up the dish each day. This is a truly lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and it is a great pity to see if drop it's standards.

Arrêtés sur Montargis avant la poursuite du voyage, nous avons passé une nuit au B&B, franchement, c'est top pour 56€ la nuit. La literie, je l'ai trouvé bien mais ma femme un peu moins donc partagé. C'est calme, la chambre est très propre, salle de bain suffisante donc rien à a dire. La douche (sans porte) donne une sensation de liberté, bon, un peu trop puisque l'eau se sent libre aussi d'inonder le tapis et les toilettes mais bon, c'est plus pour le personnel que cela doit être gênant. Nous reprenons la route, à bientôt.

I was having a great stay until this evening. After a day out exploring this lovely region I was excited to go to the sauna and pool area to relax. Another couple were there watching sport on their ipad. I asked them not to and they turned down the volume, so I could hear tinny sports commentators. This is not what I expect when I want to relax in the pool area and I chose this hotel over others and paid for this service. I complained to the girl on duty who did talk to them but said she could do nothing because they turned the volume down. This is terrible customer service, the pool area is not a sports bar. I will be making a formal complaint to Accor and Novotel about this. It has really ruined my trip.

It's a very good hotel. I really like it. The environment and hardware are very good. The location is superior, the scenery is beautiful, the service is considerate, the praise is great. I will stay next time

The hotel is directly opposite the Orleans Central Railway Station and the second floor of the train. The hotel is directly connected to the hotel via the second floor platform. The waiter was warm and the room was clean and tidy. The only problem was that the room was small and the luggage table in the room was small. I could only put the box on the ground, and then I had to cross the box to cross...

The property is located just at the entrance to the inner city. For healthy people, it's a nice 20-25 minutes' walk along the river to get to downtown. Otherwise one must take the car out from the ample, relatively cheap, hotel parking provided, as the nearest tram stop is not that near, either. Rooms and bathrooms are adequate, breakfast is good, and the excellent restaurant deserves a separate review. The view of the Loire River and beyond from our high-floor room alone was worth the stay. The hotel is very popular, particularly as a stop for tourists on their way to Northern Europe. Thus, during the season it's best to reserve early.

We often stop here to charge the car, en route to or back from England. The hotel is fine, if rather overpriced, and the restaurant is excellent… when it’s open! But I’ve stayed overnight on a Sunday… no evening meal. And today we’ve stopped on a Saturday, to have lunch while the car charged - but no restaurant again! Worse - the message was delivered very rudely, and with no alternative offered. Turns out there’s a climbing wall place next door with a decent burger/salad type restaurant. So we were able to walk over, and they got our money. We won’t be spending anything at this hotel again. If they want to be rude, and turn down good business opportunities, that’s their choice. I’ll go for a nice burger instead.

Perfect place for a cheap no frills stay on the way down through France. Massive Supermarket and plenty of restaurants right on the doorstep. Very helpful staff. Rooms could do with an update, but the location and convenience out ways the decor choice.

Etablissement très pro. Simple et abordable. J'y ai passé une nuit parce que j'étais trop fatiguée pour terminer mon voyage de voiture. Personnel et hôte et les chambres propres. Petit-déjeuner est suffisant et accessible.

Arrived mid afternoon for one night stay . Check in staff not very welcoming but our room overlooking the main road was large , modern , clean & had everything you would need. We returned later in the evening & had a drink in the bar which was very quiet & after we were served there was no serving staff at the bar or reception , so it was off to bed . Other guests arrived at the bar but I believe gave up waiting to be served . Breakfast coffee was excellent , adequate display of baked goods etc. but the breakfast room & the main areas of the Hotel seemed soulless. We would not return .

We had an outstanding suitte the size of a small apartment. Included entry way with large bath and separate toilet, separate bathtub and shower, double sink. The bedroom area had 2 sofas, a desk with chair, and two easy chairs. Very comfortable and unique decor. Breakfast room/brasserie is lovely, under a skylight. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with many choices of eggs, cereals, yogurt, several breads, bacon, etc.. Very comfortable bed with top quality linens and pillows. Good elevator. We didn't use the main restaurant as it was closed the days we were there (Sunday and Monday), but there are a number of restaurants in Chartres and the hotel brasserie was open.. Hotel is in a 17C mansion, so if you are expecting a generic hotel experience, this isn't it, although the room and hotel are fully modernized (including A/C, not needed during our visit. Location of hotel is optimall for visiting the cathedral and walking around the charming old city with little shops, bars restaurants.

J'ai passé un séjour incroyable dans cet hôtel. Le personnel était extrêmement accueillant, attentionné et disponible. Ils ont été adorables avec mes enfants. la chambre était propre et confortable. Cette hôtel mériterait une troisième étoile. Je recommande vivement cet établissement à tous ceux qui recherchent un séjour inoubliable.

Located on the holiday road, stairway to spend the night. Comfortable room: nothing misses. Located in a easy place to approach outside the traffic axes. Thanks to Booking not to give us any useful information.
