Very good location, just in the middle of the central area and shopping streets. Also near the train station with a 10 minute walk. However the spring mattress in the room is wearing out and not comfortable for sleep.
This hotel was brilliant, very modern, super friendly staff.
The food was very nice and everywhere was clean and presented well.
The facilities were lovely, I only used the pool but again staff were helpful and friendly and facilities were clean and tidy.
The hotel grounds were also lovely and the hotel its self was pretty from the outside.
The hotel and staff are great, but unfortunately on this stay the fire alarm went off at 4am in the morning, due to a fault..so broken sleep unfortunately
The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly helpful with their recommendations for local attractions. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall, this was definitely the best hotel I stayed at during this trip.
This hotel was the best went to check in had booked double room got upgraded to a family room and as soon as we got to the room we had trouble finding out how to open the door with the card. Yes me and my mum had 1 of them Richard Gere from Pretty Woman moments haha but once got in the room we was impressed was so clean and tidy it had a mini fridge under the TV everything was accessible staff was so kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others who was passing through the area to stop was no noise from the motorway traffic and eateries on the motorway services was right next door. Didnt book in for breakfast as was leaving early next morning. 20/10 top marks very happy customer. Big shout out to tariek
My stay at the Marriott Leicester was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially liked the calm atmosphere—it felt like a proper break. The location was also ideal, close to Fosse Park and the motorway, but still peaceful. Overall, the Marriott Leicester felt like a perfect mix of comfort and class.
A gem of a hotel, tucked away on the University Campus. Lovely furnishings, excellent food at reasonable prices, beautiful bar and restaurant. We’ll be using this one again.
The hotel is located in the city center. The exit is the pedestrian street and shopping place. The location is very good. The hotel room is a bit old. In short, it is still a good choice. I will continue to choose this hotel next time.

The hotel is relatively old and outdated, with small rooms and outdated equipment. There is no elevator. It is not convenient to take a taxi. I didn’t eat breakfast because of the short time. I don’t know the breakfast situation.

GGuest UserAlthough the price is cheap, the experience of settling in is not good.
The accommodation was clean, the usual kettle, coffee and Tea was provided. Water was provided via a carefree ( flip open bottle with a stopper ). Not sure the tap water in the room was safe but the water supplied was good which was handy as you could not fill the kettle from the wash basin , which was small in size. My room had a walk in shower but it was in the shape of a quarter circle with the doors closing in the centre. If you were a large person getting in or out it was a squeeze. Towels, soap and shampoo provided but the satchels were difficult to open. Scissors or a sharp knife would be needed or very strong fingers lol. The bathroom was clean however there was an aroma maybe from the stench pipe but all in all it met my needs. Access was from a side door which you could unlock with the keys given to you when you book in at the bar. Be mindful all rooms are one floor up, the stairs are steep with one handrail so if you are disabled don't book here. Zowie was the lady in charge, polite, helpful and freindly but sadly the opening times of the bar are limited. Open from 12 midday to 10pm Mon to Friday and longer on Saturday and Sunday. They obviously do a good Sunday lunch as I arrived Sunday and the place was heaving with customers. Never got a chance to sample their cuisine , breakfast was in a cafe about 2 minutes walk away. I was out early and back late hence I did not eat there. Parking is free, but if you arrive Sunday the carpark will be full up with hungry customers. There was a housekeeper who would tidy the room, change the towels but the bedlinen is not changed daily. Overall the stay there was good however as there is no breakfast included it borders on being a little overpriced.
I stayed here with another friend as we were on a hen night in Quorn. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. The room was a really good size and so quiet, I had a great sleep, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good although you had to pay £5 if you wanted a cooked breakfast which we hadn’t realised. Not expensive though. Overall very good value for what we paid
I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service from the staff. The check-in process was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a spacious and beautifully decorated room. The room itself was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly soft, and I slept like a baby every night. The bathroom was luxurious, with high-quality toiletries and a rainfall shower that was pure bliss. The hotel facilities were equally impressive. I enjoyed the stunning rooftop pool, which offered breathtaking views of the city, and the fitness center was well-equipped and spotless. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals – I highly recommend the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of fresh, tasty options. What truly set this hotel apart was the level of service. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were always available to offer recommendations for local attractions, arrange transportation, or fulfill any special requests. The location was ideal as well – conveniently situated near top attractions, shopping, and public transportation. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this is the perfect place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to the area. Five stars all the way!
Positives, - You can order breakfast as room service using a card and hanging it on the door. What we did order was good so I would say the breakfast buffet is good. - check in was quick and easy. - apart from the coffee being in a teabag the other complimentary items were good which included biscuits and hot chocolate. - it's always a bonus to have a fridge in the room. - The room was nice spacious and clean. Easy to get ready in (lighting, mirrors, plugs ect) A few things sadly that I disliked about this hotel. - Parking, when I was booking the hotel it showed that there was free on site parking. I did query this with the receptionist who wasn't very helpful with her answer and just said it's full. Then suggested one of the hotels nearby that charge per hour. - our shower kept changing temperature which I did struggle with trying to wash my hair. - Our room was an adjoining room which I would prefer not to have had, I understand this may be the last room available but I feel it should be mentioned upon checkin. - The bathroom was more of a constant wet room as there was nothing to dry the floor with after using a shower. A squidgy would be a great addition to the accessible rooms. - The room service line was constantly engaged. - you can screen mirror to their TVs. - last thing for those that care about their health and wellbeing, the sheets are made from 100% polyester so high exposure to micro plastics while you sleep.
I had a pleasant stay here with my family. We stayed for pleasure/business off-base, and from the moment we arrived, the reception to the domestic has been brilliant and helpful. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Leisure facilities and areas were all clean and tidy, very appealing. Leonardo Hotel taught of everything, so you can pack light, all necessities were provided and in vast quantity, Thank you, Leonardo! The centre of the stairway also gives a cruise ship vibes (I will add pics), which I thought was brilliant, and have I mentioned the breakfast. Now, this is the first hotel I've been to where i see they offered takeaway supplies (containers, tea cups) for people on the go, SPLENDID IDEA, and the breakfast was lovely. The overall aspect for me was the ambience, which flows through the entire property. Every room you enter gives that tranquil feeling, from the low lighting to the smooth melody, it makes breakfast feel like I'm in a 6* restaurant. I recommend this place for anyone, it is also great for kids, my kids (1, 16, 9) enjoyed it, especially the pool. I will definitely come back!!!
The location is fantastic! 10 minute walking distance to the theatres and shopping areas. The facade is clean and appealing and on entering the building, the bar/restaurant area really provides a wow factor. I had a double room which were two single beds pushed together, so there was no room to stretch out. The kitchenette doesn't come with washing up liquid or a sponge, so I was a little confused as to how I was supposed to clean up. The toilet was lovely, but having lifted the toilet seat, the toilet bowl was filled with yellow liquid. Easily solved with flushing. The shower was glorious I didn't want to get out. The rooms are not sound proofed so if you are a light sleeper like me, make sure you take your ear plugs. On the whole I paid £80 for the room on Trip, other sites were charging £140 so I do think I got a good deal. I paid for what I got.
To customer service. My partner and l stayed at the Bosworth Hall hotel whilst travelling north for an overnight stay to break our journey and get refreshed to continue our journey. Sadly although the staff were amicable and the site was good we got very little sleep as there was hard noise through the night and early morning. This was acceptable but the bathroom facilities were unacceptable. There was very little water pressure so we could not shower and when inspected the pipe had obviously been faulty and leaking prior to our visit but the pipe had been wrapped with electrical insulation tape and the pressure reduced so it didn,t blow the tape off when used. It was a poor advert for a high class hotel. I attach a photo of the pipe. Also l expect you to make recompense to me. Regards Jacob Thomlinson.
The location is great for the East Midland airport and also the Donnington Race track. Nice little hotel in a beautiful spot, with good food and accom.
