Fantastic location! We stayed for 6 nights and explored different parts Athens each day. A reasonable spread of breakfast is provided and a wide variety of food is available near the hotel. All the must see places were within 15 walking minutes from the hotel and most importantly the area around the hotel was very safe.

It was okay overall. Breakfast was simple, but it was still nice that it was provided. However, I couldn't sleep well because the people sharing the same room snored a lot ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

We were greeted by Mr George who's very friendly and helpful and checked us in immediately. Hotel provides breakfast from 6.30an to 930am which has a spread of salads, breads, croissants, cheese, ham, eggs, coffee, tea and juices. Room is fairly spacious with a balcony that oversees the main road. It can be noisy in the day because of cars and the tram but it didn't bother us as we were out. Room has a steam iron, kettle, fridge, coffee and tea sachets. Their rooftop has a pool and you can see the Acropolis in the distance. We stayed for 2 nights and booked another 2 nights on our return back to Athens because all the staff are so kind and hospitable. Highly recommended. The photos on this booking platform should be updated as it looks different. It didn't look as good in the photos but when you walk in you feel good. It is about 7 min walk from Larissi station or Metaxourghio station.

Excellent stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and provided great service throughout my visit. The breakfast was amazing—delicious and abundant with lots of variety. I really enjoyed using the sauna to relax after exploring the city. Perfect hotel for a solo traveler looking for comfort and quality service!

I recently stayed at the Athens Kaliriho Executive Hotel and had a great experience! The hotel is very conveniently located close to the city center and major attractions, within walking distance to the Acropolis and Plaka area, and has very convenient transportation. The room is spacious and bright, with a modern and elegant decoration style, comfortable beds, complete facilities, and especially the city view outside the window is refreshing.

Location was bit from distance from main center point satyagama square, but route is senic between the market, hostel is worth of money.

Very convenient location if catching ferries the next morning, clean and reasonably comfortable rooms, and great service at the front desk. Price is very reasonable as well.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated on Women's Street. It's just a 13-15 minute walk to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. With many delicious restaurants and jewelry stores in the vicinity, it's perfect for shopping. Getting to the hotel from the airport is straightforward without needing a taxi. Simply exit the airport and ask for the X95 bus, which takes you directly to Syntagma Square in less than an hour, costing 5.5 Euros per person. From Syntagma Square, walk down through the square onto the central street, and the hotel is just a 3-5 minute walk further, located down a small alley next to Mango. A minor drawback is the lack of complimentary bottled water. However, the rooms are quite spacious, and with a comfortable 1.5-meter sofa, there's ample space, even if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel breakfast was standard, with a limited selection. Nevertheless, the hotel's 7th-floor cafe offers stunning panoramic views of the Acropolis. It's particularly beautiful to visit around 7 PM to witness the Acropolis at sunset. The prices for food and drinks there are also reasonable.

This was my first time in Athens, and I chose this new hotel, which opens at the end of 2025, mainly because of its central location. It's only a 3-4 minute walk from the Omonia metro station, making it quick to get to Syntagma, Monastiraki, and Acropolis by metro. Advantages: Super new and sparkling clean. The hotel is truly new—the elevators, corridors, lobby, and rooms are all brand new. The location is actually very convenient. While it's not in a location like Plaka or Syntagma where you're practically right next to tourist attractions, it's a 15-minute walk to the bustling Ermou shopping street, and just three metro stops to the Acropolis entrance. A taxi to the airport takes only 35-40 minutes. The breakfast exceeded my expectations. The complimentary buffet breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but the quality was excellent. It included freshly cut fruit, Greek yogurt, various breads, an egg section (scrambled eggs and boiled eggs), traditional Greek pies, and freshly ground coffee. Minor drawbacks (genuine feedback): The Standard Room isn't very large. Both rooms are approximately 20-22 square meters, which is a bit cramped with an extra bed, especially when putting in luggage and having a child running around. The wardrobe is sufficient. If you have a lot of luggage, it can feel a bit cramped. There is no swimming pool or gym. In summary, for a family of four, the Great Athens Hotel is a very cost-effective choice, especially considering its newness, cleanliness, good service, and reliable breakfast. While the location isn't in the very heart of Plaka, its proximity to the metro makes up for it, and overall, we had a very comfortable stay. If we visit Athens again, we would definitely consider staying here again.

This is a cost-effective hotel. Compared with luxury hotels, it is naturally useless. But if you don't want to spend too much budget on accommodation, it must be worth choosing. And, after leaving Athens, I was never so lucky again. When spending the same money, are you willing to squeeze into the multi-person dormitory of the youth hostel, or to enjoy a private space alone? Providing a choice is much better than not having to choose. ROY, it is worth staying again
