Hotel was clean and look beach side. The foods very good. I like some snack. I was experience gym, actually exercise equipment too old. I hope next time have good experience with gym.
Check in was smooth but could do with giving more information about the hotel.
During the stay, only large towel is provided. No small towels. Not a problem for me as I’m travelling solo.
I had the deluxe sea view and view is great too. Bed a comfortable. Pillows are great too.
It is the best hotel nearest to every POI in bukittinggi. The hotel's Saka Cafe level 4 provides great ambience and view overlooking scenic town view and panoramic view of the mountain and valley. The superior family room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable most suitable for 3 people. The breakfast was decent serving traditional delicacy. Toast and cereal for kids are available. The seating is limited but there was no queue problem. The exception is the only lift operational is slow serving 6 levels. However, we got around this by using stairs which are quite steep and hard on my poor knees. So, if you are visiting together with elderly with walking difficulty perhaps it would be best to stay in the rooms nearest to the ramp nearby the reception.
Despite only staying for a day, I was very satisfied. The room was clean and the food was delicious. My only minor suggestion would be for the restaurant to offer butter for the bread instead of margarine. Also, the room's fragrance was a bit too strong, almost overwhelming! (haha). Other than these points, everything was great.
Had a pleasant stay at Mercure Padang. The hotel is conveniently located near the town area, making it easy to find food, shops, and nearby attractions. The location is very strategic and accessible.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. All the basic amenities we needed were provided, which made our stay smooth and hassle-free. The facilities were good, and the overall environment felt cozy and relaxing.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it’s a nice hotel and a great choice when visiting Padang. Would definitely consider staying here again.
Good value for money. The location is great, approximately 30 minutes from Minangkabau Airport. The room was quite spacious and clean. The air conditioning was strong and cold, which was a welcome comfort given Padang's hot climate.
Breakfast offered a wide selection, featuring both traditional Minang dishes and more general options. Everything tasted delicious, and they even served traditional *jamu*.
Highly recommended for those looking for a stopover hotel in the Padang area, especially because it's not too far from the airport.
It's a small hotel close to the Mentawai Fast Ferry Terminal. Front reception was friendly but a its a walk up to the 2nd floor rooms as there isn't a lift. Comfortable hotel.
My checked in and checked out was handled by Ms Putri and it was smooth. Kudos to the housekeeping staff who made up my room. It was always perfectly refreshed when I am back to the room. Food served during breakfast was delicious and staffs were attentive and giving great service. Overall an enjoyable stay and definite thumbs up.Recommeded place to stay while in Padang.

Very great breakfast and nice and clean room. Spacious bar area and also great dinner buffer
The hotel is right next to the mall and it is walking distance to alot of shops and opposite night market. Great location. Room is very comfortable, spacious and complete with basic amenities.
Everything is just nice. Breakfast is so delicious! I’m from Malaysia, but I can skip some of my Minang/Padang food hunting because they also provide local dishes, which are really tasty. The location is very close to Jam Gadang—within walking distance. The staff are friendly too. The only thing that made me feel a bit uncomfortable was this: I didn’t hang the “I need room cleaning” tag on my door because I was still in the room. A cleaning staff member knocked and said “room cleaning,” but I didn’t respond since I was still inside and hadn’t requested cleaning. Then, the staff used a key card to open the door. I felt a bit violated, though it wasn’t a big issue for me as I was alone and fully dressed. However, it would be better if staff didn’t enter unless there’s a clear request for cleaning—just in case someone is inside and not properly dressed.
Grand Gallery Hotel Bukit Tinggi – Comfortable Stay with Great Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed at Grand Gallery Hotel Bukit Tinggi and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a good place to rest after exploring the city. Rooms are spacious enough and suitable for families. The location is a plus — close to Bukit Tinggi attractions, making it easy to get around. The surrounding area is lively, yet the hotel itself feels calm and restful. Breakfast was decent with local options, and the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with requests or directions. Overall, a good value-for-money hotel in Bukit Tinggi, especially if you’re looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient location. Would consider staying here again.
Nice hotel located near the beach. The receptionists are very accommodative and friendly. Breakfast choice was good. Room is spacious and nice. Defintely would come back again
ZZetty AmniOverall everything is good.Clean.Fast service.Friendly staff and good welcoming from them especially from Miss Nada from the front counter.Breakfast is really good with variety of Indonesian foods.Thank you Santika Bukit Tinggi
Everything was nice! The hotel is beautiful and gives off Bali vibes. Breakfast was decent too. I arrived 2 hours early due to heavy rain and hoped to check in early to change my wet clothes. Although no room was ready, the staff kindly let me store my bag and use the public toilet to change. However, when I returned at 2pm (the official check-in time), the room was still not ready and I only got in at 2:30pm. Still, I appreciate their helpfulness and tolerance—just a bit more punctuality would make the experience even better.
