Hotels With Bar in Aomori Prefecture, Japan

This was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip to Japan. Relabo is directly connected to the JR station, so you can check in on the 4th floor without even leaving the station. The hotel is brand new, the facilities are excellent, the bed is incredibly soft, and both the duvet and the room smell wonderful. It's convenient for getting anywhere, with the bus terminal right downstairs. It's a 5-minute walk to A-Factory and Nebuta House, 10 minutes to the Triangle Fish Market, and Sukeroku Izakaya is also within walking distance. There's a drugstore right opposite the elevator that's open until 10 PM. The public bath is clean and tidy with no dust; one of the two pools has floating real apples and an apple-infused hot spring bath, and the relaxation room offers apple detox water. The hotel staff speak good English, and there are even foreign staff members. The front desk service was a bit less impressive; a few more smiles for guests, even if not genuine, would be a necessary improvement.

Location perfect! Room was great, clean and neat, however some modification could not be made. 2 people in the room with 3 beds. Staff could not anything but sorry.

We stayed here during the Nebuta Festival. It's a historic hotel, and while its facilities might be a bit dated, it's impeccably maintained, clean, and comfortable. The room was very spacious, offering ample room for three people.

This is really a great hotel. Staff are all nice, hotel’s facility is also good. Free drink and snacks are available in hotel lounge. Highly recommended to anyone who planned to tour in Aomori!

I visit the Rockwood Hotel once a year. I only visit in the winter because I visit the ski resort, but the quality of breakfast and dinner has improved a bit compared to last year. There is also a Korean female employee at the front desk, and this season, Aomori had a record-breaking amount of snowfall, making it a fun ski trip.

I expected sashimi in the morning buffet, but there was. I am very happy. There is also a convenience store nearby, which is convenient.

The Hakkoda Hotel is a good hotel that I will not forget in my life. It was a super heavy snowstorm that day, and my wife and I could only do hotel activities. It was comfortable in the strong wind but there was no outdoors. The restaurant was delicious with Japanese and Western food After that, I fell asleep 😴 Special mention that there is no other food in the hotel 🤣 Remember that there are no cup noodles! ! So if you can’t get out of the hotel, there will be no other food 🥱 But the service quality is very high, the hotel is clean and beautiful, and it’s a good place to go

Although I chose this ryokan as alternative place but it turned out it is my best stay so far. It is not far from Kuroishi and it is accessible by public transport. Room is very spacious and has both a bathroom and a toilet. Onsen is good. It has both indoor and outdoor ones. Usually it is not busy. Food was great both dinner and breakfast. Free flow of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are also included. Very generous. Staffs are very friendly, although their English are very limited. Extra 150 yen per person for onsen tax. Cash term only. Cashless payment is available.

It's true what they say about an inn with a spectacular view. The heavy rain that was falling when I checked in stopped the next morning, and I was able to gaze at the autumn-like sky and sea in front of my room for a while. It had been a while since I'd stayed in a Japanese-style room, and I was able to enjoy local ingredients for both dinner and breakfast, making for a truly enjoyable holiday in Aomori. It was also great that I was within walking distance of the prefectural aquarium. There was a live Tsugaru shamisen performance in the evening, which really immersed me in the romantic atmosphere of travel and exceeded my expectations. This is an inn that I would recommend to others.

This hot spring hotel is located on the top of a mountain. And it takes around an hour of driving up the hill in order to get to the hotel, but the view is completely worth it, the stars at night was so beautiful. The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage. The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese. One thing that we are not a fan of was the blue indoor wear that they offer, as it didn’t look good and look like a massage therapist. Haha
