I recently stayed at Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, and overall, I was very satisfied with the experience. First of all, the location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is right next to the SkyWorlds Theme Park, just a few minutes’ walk away. It’s perfect for families with kids. The lobby is modern, bright, and clean. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room isn’t very large, but the layout is smart and practical. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. The lighting, charging outlets, and storage areas in the room were thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was also commendable. The bathroom was clean and the hot water pressure was strong and consistent. My favourite part is how the hotel is connected to SkyAvenue, restaurants, and shopping areas. Just head downstairs and everything is within walking distance. It’s super convenient for meals, entertainment, and evening strolls. The only minor downside is that it can get crowded on weekends, so you may need to wait a bit for elevators or during check-in. The soundproofing is decent. You may occasionally hear hallway noise, but it didn’t affect my sleep. Overall, SkyWorlds Hotel is a great choice for those visiting Genting for a vacation or the theme park. It’s convenient, clean, modern, and offers good value for money. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

To be upgraded to Wyndham Ion majestic instead of what I had booked for. The room is spacious, have a balcony, just the problem is the bathroom door can't open from inside, must someone open from outside once close it. Overall is good, if you are want to relax only very suggest this place.

This place actually is so romantic and feels like Europe, but the inside room needs to be improved, first feel alot of sand at floor, second toothpaste and toothbrush did not provide and also shower 🚿 carpet towel did not provide too. The counter service is perfect but maybe the room cleaner did not clean well and also did not check . Lucky service is good, we had call after shower and they provided us toothpaste and towel too. At the Entertainment fireshow, last minute two of the people did not appear and the staff still provided his energy and let me feel good 💯 best fireshow . Even the oldest design ,service, and breakfast all do a good job. I hope to enjoy a 3-day 2night if I have time to come here. Activity @Colmar look at my last image. We chose Japamala Tioman for our wedding anniversary and this boutique resort did not disappoint. Service was impeccable from the time we were picked up at the ferry terminal at Kampung Genting until the time we left. Kudos to the manger Kenny and his team for their hospitality in making our anniversary memorable. Food was in general above average (dessert was fantastic) and some dishes were a bit salty as we don’t consume too salty food in our diet. We gave feedback and to our surprise the staff took it seriously as our subsequent dishes served weren’t as salty. The rooms are clean and the sea view fantastic, allowing us to take in the magnificent sunset views every evening. Not much to do, as this resort is more for guest to disconnect. Hiking to Batu Permata and to Kampung Genting was doable. Canoeing and snorkelling by the resort was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Thanks Japamala!

Apartment comes with full kitchen facilities, and everything is working. So very happy with that. Cleanliness of the apartment in general is very questionable though. Not very clean and do take note of that. But the beds are clean so that’s a plus. Love the view and when we were there, Genting was covered in a thick fog and mist, so was very very magical and very enjoyable weather.

Great environment. Relaxing and doable. Great Sunrise except for occasional overcast. The beach is white. The size of the room is comfortable. Beds are big. The deluxe room has a small balcony which leads to the swimming pool and dining hall. The room is not the cleanest. Saw some baby cockroaches running around the bathroom. The pillows are way too soft. The Aircon power is very weak Occasional power trips. There are a few dive shops along the way. Good selection for divers who wants different experience diving around Juara. Food prices are average. There is a roti canai shop mia cafe. Which sells out out very quickly. Be on time at 7am if you want to try it.

We booked this hotel for a one night staycation with our friends. While we were there, we saw 2 weddings and a Company having their annual dinner. The enviroment is clean, secure and very refreshing , surrounded by many trees. We had super nice rooms and since it was our anniversary, The Chateau decorated our bed with a pair of towel swans , very beautifully folded. The rooms are big and very comfortable. Service at the hotel was excellent everywhere we went. They even have free yoga sessions where we all participated and had a good time stretching and laughing at ourselves. Food at the Restaurant, next to the pool was nice with hearty portions. Overall, the stay was wonderful. We will definitely return for another stay, perhaps longer. Just be sure to keep your windows and doors closed at all times as some friendly monkeys are roaming about.

Got a free upgrade and stayed at Ion Majestic, love and wanted to try the heated pool but it was under maintenance so we wouldn't be able to try. I was a regular at Ion Delemens before I tried to book with Trip.com, so definitely will prefer and choose to stay at Ion Majestic as it has easier access than Ion Delemens. Killer view but I guess as not a morning person, I wouldn't prefer the bright curtains in the morning😅 Overall, 5 out of 5 still.

probably one of the better hotels at the peak of genting. amazing view from the room. room was comfortable and there was sufficient space. breakfast service has to be improved though. breakfast was ala carte and we waited close to an hour for our breakfast to be served. even the coffee took an hour. the next day, we just skipped the breakfast completely.

RRaja SamidaThank you to the receptionist, Zura. As I am heavily pregnant, (7 month preggy) she kindly upgraded my room from one that required stairs to a pool terrace room with easy access. The room was conveniently close to the pool, which made my child very happy. The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and we truly appreciate Zura’s thoughtfulness. Good job! We will definitely return.”

JJunakarmaReally nice hotel but please remember to close your curtain, the view to your room from down there or anywhere else could be crystal clear. But if you’re checking in during holidays or during the season where offshore people going/coming back to/from offshore, the elevator journey could be a hell of a wait.. i once waited nearly half an hour to get from 16th to G floor for check out.. so plan your travel well Apart from that.. i really had a very nice stay

AAnonymous UserThis is my second time booking this hotel. This time, I chose the Garden Chalet King. The room is spacious, but the bathroom is smaller compared to the Beach Chalet. In the Beach Chalet, the sink, shower, and toilet are all inside the bathroom. For the Garden Chalet, the sink is placed outside, right next to the entrance. The chalet has a balcony facing a pond, which could have been a nice feature. Unfortunately, it wasn’t well maintained and was covered in lizard droppings. Even inside the room, I found ants and baby cockroaches. The room felt dusty and poorly maintained. Despite the condition of the room, the environment is still pleasant. It’s walking distance to the beach, with plenty of food options nearby. The town is also not too far if you want to explore.

BBepis Boi Ultra⚠️ WARNING: THIS HOTEL IS OVERRATED DUE TO TRIP.COM’S RATING SYSTEM – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING ⚠️ If this hotel were a car, it would be a flashy Italian model with serious build quality issues. The best thing about this hotel is the price. RM200 for a king bed on a public holiday felt like a steal. Driving in from SkyAvenue, the road was dark, but the brightly lit parking area gave us high hopes. Check-in via the self-service kiosk was smooth, though finding our room was confusing due to the odd 5-digit numbering. Thankfully, the concierge guided us. First impression of the room: it matched the promo photos. But our excitement ended quickly. The door wouldn’t lock properly and kept beeping. A technician came, hammered the strike plate, and fixed it—hardly reassuring for security. Next came the bathroom. Many reviews mentioned a bad construction smell, and they were right. The shower drained poorly, leaving a strong concrete odor as water pooled. The kitchen looked impressive with plenty of cabinets, but surprisingly had no power sockets near the counter. I had to boil water at the desk instead. The TV was another letdown. Supposedly “smart,” it had no internet or channels. I tried everything—resetting, power cycling—but there was no Wi-Fi option at all. So much for Netflix night. Design-wise, the room looked sleek at first glance, but flaws showed up everywhere: paint splatters in the bathroom, noisy metal racks, and tile flooring that picked up every footprint. The next morning, the sunrise over Genting Highlands was breathtaking—arguably the highlight of our stay. Exploring the hotel, we found most shops, including Hard Rock Café and the rooftop, closed with no operating hours posted. Facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and kids’ zone were open but overcrowded due to the holiday. We skipped breakfast as it wasn’t included. Checkout was quick and smooth. Looking back, the real problem isn’t management, but poor construction quality that doesn’t reflect in typical rating categories like cleanliness, service, or location. The place looks good on the surface, but corners were clearly cut in development. I really wanted to love this hotel—the concept, location, and price are great. But unless management addresses these quality issues, the high ratings are misleading.

TTraveller354Beautiful resort that really makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The grounds are well maintained and really pretty, the huts are a bit plain, but have what you need. The rooms do get really warm which I feel could be solved by blocking off the high roof. This would make it easier to clean and make the room a bit smaller for the small air con unit to cool down. We also had a double hut that connected to another one with a thin door which didn’t lock. Great for families travelling together, but as we did not know the people staying in the other hut, we would have liked the option to lock the door. The walls are also really thin so we sometimes heard a bit more than what we wanted to hear. Some of the activities are incredible! Highly recommend the night jungle walk. The guides are really knowledgeable and managed to spot tiny (and sometimes not so tiny) creepy crawlers for us to see. The day jungle walk was fun and not too hard. “Easy” jungle hiking. The boat trip to Lata Berkoh was a waste of time. The boat trip itself is fine, but you get out to look at a big tree, then again at a “fish sanctuary” which is really just a few empty buildings and a guy selling fish food in recycled bottles. You then feed the fish in the river. Finally, the swimming spot is just a different part of the dirty river, with conflicting signs which state it is both safe and unsafe to swim. The night boat tour was ok. The guides really try to find things for you to see, but it really depends on which animals are out and about. So all in all, good experience, but recommend looking outside the resort for things to do during the day, we mainly just sat around until the next activity we had booked as it was too hot to do anything and many of the trails were too long to do in between min 3-5km. Also: note you cannot get to the resort by car! You need to leave it in the parking and take a boat (1RM per passenger) to get to the resort. Not bad, just not something we knew and it took us a while to figure it out in the dark. Food was ok

JJim DanielsI stayed at this hotel in August 2025. The main entrance was still under renovation, but the hotel had set up an alternative entrance and bag drop before you could reach the lobby. The lobby was spacious and well-designed, and it must have been recently renovated. Check-in was a breeze, and we were given a sea view room. It was gorgeous – spacious, clean, and comfortable, with the latest touches. The room had a spacious balcony overlooking the sea and pool area. The customer service desk even called our room to make sure we were settled in. The beach was just a short walk from the pool, and it was nice and clean. The pool area was also well-maintained. We decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant because we were too lazy to drive. The food was okay, but we were hoping for bigger portions. Luckily, the cafe offered a 50% discount on cakes. The breakfast spread was good with lots of choices. Even though it was just for one night, it was still a memorable experience. It was the perfect night for a relaxing getaway.
