There's a Uluru lookout point right inside the backpacker hostel. It's a lot further than getting into the park itself, but it's perfectly fine for a day when you're not using tours or buses. The showers and toilets have a lot of bugs, which is typical for the area. I was traveling alone, so I didn't have any issues, but if I were with my parents, I'd probably opt for a higher-ranked hotel. They offer free tea and coffee, and even though it was my first time in a 20-person dorm, it was totally manageable! There were also a lot of Japanese guests.

Great location when visiting Kakadu National Park. Original architectural design. However, room and dining prices are inflated to due the remote location (tight supply and high demand of lodging options). Pool is small but does the job to help cool off.

Darwin isn't very big, so everything's pretty close by. The hotel room was quite spacious and came with a balcony, but it was so hot and humid outside that the balcony was practically useless. Having a fridge in the room was convenient. Breakfast was a simple Western style. The room decor was a bit dated but very complete. There's a connecting door between my room and the next, probably for when they combine them into a suite. The staff were very enthusiastic. However, during my stay, there was a rather violent incident. In the morning, someone was violently banging on my door and shouting. After the noise stopped, I went out to check and found a mess, with plaster peeling everywhere. Staff were repairing it, but it was all fixed by the time I finished breakfast. It seemed like they were used to it.

The best hotel in all of Australia. The staff is very helpful and kind, ready to solve our problems. The room was very clean, far above the standards of all other hotels in Australia. The breakfast was quite varied and averagely good. A note of merit to this hotel for the presence of the laundry, with washing machine and dryer, very useful for travelers. The only hotel I would return to in Australia, I recommend it.

Arrived to a sign in reception “back at 8pm” we had to wait half an hour (24 hour reception) so after a long flight this was not good. Reception area also smelt of smoke. No lift to the second floor so an issue if you have heavy luggage. Hotel was noisy at night with people in the courtyard area very late into the night. Pool looked unmaintained and dirty. Also WiFi only worked in reception. On the plus side the hotel is in a good location and the rooms were clean and spacious and had clean bedding and towels.

Perfect for what I needed... a one night stop over to visit the Kangaroo Sanctuary! Staff were polite and friendly. Check in and out with seamless. Had the best night's sleep in good quality and spotlessly clean bedding. Ate dinner in the restaurant, too, which was reasonably priced.

I stayed 5 nights, I didn’t like the room in 4th floor at the start (as I requested a higher floor room and quiet room, but I got a room next to the elevator) the TV wasn’t facing the bed. I then changed to another room in 8th floor, room was great but the shower room door couldn’t be closed so the water was everywhere and it wouldn’t dry; also cleaner told me cuz it was public holiday they are not able to change my sheets. The last night I stayed, fire alarm went off at 4am everyone went to the lobby, it was a false alarm but I got very scared.

The check in experience was not good. Room was fully paid for but had to provide credit card even though I don't have one. Desk clerk made it quite clear that any damage would need to be paid for. why, because I am Aboriginal (he did not say this but it was clear in his attitude). He also mentioned about guests. for a company that makes a substantial amount of money from the Aboriginal community it is sad that you have prejudiced people welcoming guests.

The grounds are beautiful, and the pool and cafe are lovely. Unfortunately the hotel itself has seen better days - the corridor was not clean, and needed to be vacuumed. The room itself was large and the bathroom was fine. The bed was a double even though the name of the room said queen bed. One pillow was fine, the other was awful.

GGuest UserThere's a breakfast buffet, a swimming pool, and a BBQ buffet inside. Parking is conveniently located right next to the rooms, which is great. However, we initially had a hard time finding our room and circled around several times before finally finding it 😅 Overall, it was a fantastic experience! Highly recommended! 👍🏻

KKatherineGood location and service. Cleanness needs improving, there is a big dead cockroaches under the chair for our entire stay but not been removed. Seems like they just made the bed (didn't change them, just made them) and changed the towel, that's all. The shower design is not great, and it is almost guarantees to get wet everywhere after use. Tones of insects even in the room, especially in the evening, no door open, so I'm not sure where they came in... but I guess that's deserts. It's great to have a free laundry facility, which is very helpful. Free activities were a nice touch. Surprisingly, there are no complementary bottles of water in the room when the hotel is located in the deserts, very unusual compared to all the hotels we stayed. Nice that we are allowed to use other hotels' facilities, so in general, we did enjoy our trip, and thank you for the friendly staff.

GGuest UserPerfect hotel location for our needs since it is very close to the airport and the Marrara sport complex (10-15 min walk) in which our event took place. What we love most: very clean hotel room, convenient park ing spot right in front of our unit at an extra cost, great pool facility and some restaurant and coffee shop option on site. The room we booked was really spacious. We had a very pleasant stay.

SShammrockThis is the closest campsite to Kings Canyon, a good place to rest if you're going to Kings Canyon. Our room only had a bed; you had to use the communal bathroom for washing, but it was convenient. Cooking was only possible in the communal kitchen, so you needed to bring your own utensils and tableware. There were a lot of insects at the campsite, as it's in the mountains, so be prepared. There's a trail next to the campsite leading to a small mound, which is a great spot for watching the sunrise.

Xxiangy225The room was spacious and the location was excellent, with the ocean in front and the CBD behind. Everything in the city center was within walking distance. The noodle house on the street behind the hotel was delicious. The staff were very friendly, enthusiastic, and attentive. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Darwin.

TTangxingongzhuThe airport shuttle dropped us right at the hotel entrance. We left our luggage at the front desk for our early morning flight, and it was already in our room when we returned from our sunset tour in the afternoon. In a desert resort where options are limited, this hotel is definitely among the best. The rooms are spacious, featuring two 1.5-meter beds, and the bathrooms are very clean. Ground floor rooms come with outdoor chairs, which are perfect for enjoying afternoon tea and sunbathing. Housekeeping cleans the room and replaces towels daily. If you're not overly fussy, it's a solid choice. Oh, and the sandwiches at the bar are quite good! It's about a three-minute walk to the Town Square, and a ten-minute climb will get you to the lookout point for stunning Uluru sunrises and sunsets. All sorts of tours and activities can be booked with convenient pick-up and drop-off right at the hotel entrance. This makes things incredibly easy.
