The room was clean and tidy. The fact that you need a key card to access the elevators made us feel quite safe. The room wasn't cramped either; there was enough space for two suitcases, which is definitely not small for Hong Kong standards. It's about a 30-minute subway ride from West Kowloon, and within walking distance of both Admiralty and Wan Chai MTR stations. The Citybus A11 stop, which goes to the airport or the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, is just 200 meters away. The service was also good; they offer free luggage storage. We stored our bags upon early arrival and went exploring, and did the same on our departure day. Getting to Disneyland takes about 70 minutes from the hotel by MTR, including the transfer to the Disney line. There's a 'ding ding' tram stop right outside. You can walk to Wan Chai Pier for the Star Ferry, or to Golden Bauhinia Square. The Hong Kong Observation Wheel in Central is also less than 2 kilometers away. All in all, I was very satisfied with choosing this hotel this time. We stayed during the off-peak season on a weekday, and the room rate was 820 HKD (net).

The location is excellent, not far from the subway. For Hong Kong, the hotel rooms are really quite large and spacious. The hotel breakfast is very rich, and the front desk staff Maggie, Alice, Coco, Terry, Ivan, Susan, Ben, Alan, Francis, and all the housekeeping staff provide very good and attentive service. They even helped us find a small toy our child left in the room. Highly recommended.

After comparing several hotels, I finally settled on The Empire Hotel Causeway Bay, and I'm very satisfied with both their service and cleanliness. First off, the hotel's location is excellent. It's really close to the MTR, bus stops, and public transport, making it super convenient to get anywhere. There's even an A11 bus service directly to and from the airport, and getting to Macau is a breeze. The hotel's breakfast and afternoon tea were both great – picture six shows some of the afternoon tea offerings. Plus, there are plenty of delicious food options around the hotel. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time.

Regala Skycity Hotel is the nearest airport hotel of Terminal 2 of Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok Airport. The first free shuttle bus service starts at 6.15 am from the bus interchange at Terminal 2. Waiting bay is between lanes 9 and 11. Late check-out is allowed upon request until 1 pm. As my experience goes, there is no need to pay room deposit of HK$500 after paying for the room rate in full at Trip.com. If the guest chose to pay at the hotel, HK$500 which is roughly around S$83, is required. The hotel allows rooms for day use until 6 pm and room deposit is required. I chose to stay at Regala Skycity Hotel in order to review its rooftop as the hotel promotes the use of its rooftop for physical exercises and plane-spotting. The rooftop is above the twelfth floor, two fire doors up from the eleventh floor. On the rooftop, I can see jets flying towards the direction of the sea above the rooftop. If an aeroplane flies towards the airport in the opposite direction, plane-spotting can be done at the twelfth floor corridor end-window. It is amazing that jets can be seen flying towards the airport above the sea. Hong Kong Airport Terminal 1 and Regala Airport Hotel can also be noticed. Focal length is 200mm to 500mm. In the afternoon after check-out, I am grateful that the receptionist allows me to go up to the rooftop again for plane-spotting till sun set with out paying for a room for day use. About the small, comfortable room that I stayed, the garden view is not that magnificent. There are no trees fortunately. There are no bottles of mineral water in the room. Heat a kettle of water and pour the water into the hotel's glass bottle to drink later. About the shower room, the anti-slip mattress is available for use. The hotel restaurant serves complimentary breakfast with Hong Kong-style breakfast as the highlight. There is no American-style breakfast to eat. It is very expensive to stay in Regala Skycity Hotel but I will stay here again for the purpose of plane-spotting if there were new airliners flying to the airport at the appropriate time.

The hotel is very clean, and the water pressure in the shower is fantastic. They also offer a semi-buffet afternoon tea. It's conveniently located near Tin Hau Station and Victoria Park, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. Although it's small, it has everything you need and offers excellent value for money.

The hotel is located in the city center and close to shopping areas in Causeway Bay. It is also close to the Causeway Bay metro so it is easy to travel around Hong Kong. The hotel is clean, and Ms. Chalette, the staff member, was helpful throughout my registration. My room is on the 34th floor, close to the swimming pool. However, the pool is closed due to the weather. The gym is on the B2 floor, which is in the basement area. I haven’t checked the gym, though. To get to my room, I have to change the elevator on the 31st floor to another elevator.  The regular elevator is slow but the elevators from 31 to 34 are fast. My room is big with a high ceiling, and clean. There is a big bathtub in the room as well. The view is awesome which is Victoria Harbor and Victoria Park. However, the heater in the room didn’t work properly so it was always colder inside. Overall, except for the heater that didn’t work, and the slow elevator, I do enjoy my stay here. If it is not expensive, I might stay here again.

The room is very spacious, and the soundproofing is excellent. I couldn't hear any planes taking off or landing at all! The hallway was also quiet! It's clean and tidy, just one stop from the exhibition center, and the bus is convenient. Getting to and from the airport via the Airport Express is also very easy! I'd definitely consider staying here again if I'm in the area. Great value for money! The bus stop is right across the street from the hotel, just a quick walk over, which makes getting to Tung Chung by bus super convenient.

I would genuinely recommend this hotel to my friends. It offers incredible value for money. The location isn't really out of the way, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, especially the cooked food market which offers a variety of very local eats in the evening. The room rates are incredibly cheap, and personally, I didn't find the space small at all. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.

We booked two rooms: a family room (with a 1.8m bed and a 1m bed) and a standard room with a 1.8m bed. The family room was quite spacious, while the standard room was a bit small but offered partial views of Victoria Harbour. The room decor felt relatively new, and both the front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were excellent. One of the cleaning aunties was particularly thoughtful; she offered us water and, noticing us moving between the two rooms, even provided door stoppers. Before coming to Hong Kong, I'd seen many people share concerns about Hong Kong locals' attitudes toward mainland tourists, but I didn't experience any of that at this hotel. On the contrary, the staff were all incredibly warm and attentive. It really goes to show that if you maintain good manners and avoid uncivilized behavior, you'll be treated well. The afternoon tea offered by the hotel was also very good.

I booked a deluxe sea view twin room, but the room was ridiculously small. Two people couldn't even stand side-by-side, and the bathroom was even tinier, with no proper vanity, just a mini sink. They called it a deluxe sea view room, but it was just a room with a tiny peek of the sea. The location is pretty good though, a few hundred meters from the MTR station, making it convenient to get to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui. The female receptionist on duty when I checked in was very friendly; I didn't experience the kind of discriminatory treatment I'd read about online.

MM569690****For around 600, the price was incredibly good value. For the first two nights, the hotel upgraded us to an Executive Room, probably because it wasn't fully booked, and the view was absolutely amazing! We paid an extra 280 HKD to stay in the same room for the remaining two days. Actually, taking the bus is more convenient than the MTR. Causeway Bay MTR station is huge, and you end up walking just as much underground as you would to get to a bus stop. Plus, you get to enjoy the scenery on the bus. Whether you're heading to Victoria Park, the Central Library, a shopping mall, or catching a bus on Jardine's Bazaar, remember to take the yellow pedestrian bridge to your left first. Once you're off the bridge, then use your navigation – it'll save you a lot of getting lost! For good food nearby, I recommend Lung Chuen Cafe. They have a wide variety of choices. On the night we arrived, I went looking for breakfast for the next day and saw it was packed. When we went for breakfast, it seemed like most of the customers were locals. It's a busy little place, but the staff are incredibly warm and soft-spoken. They accept all kinds of payment methods. The hotel breakfast is 80 HKD. While they list 'various breads, steamed buns, salads, fruits, and drinks,' there are actually only two types of each. You grab your own cutlery, and no one asks if you'd like coffee or tea; there are no hot dishes. So, it's definitely more cost-effective to eat out. However, it seems hard to find breakfast with vegetables in Hong Kong. Even a small box of salad at a convenience store costs 25 HKD. If you want to eat more vegetables and fruits and have an early flight, having breakfast at the hotel once might be worthwhile.

Plus, there's a shuttle bus right outside that goes directly to Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West Station, which is super convenient! I've booked it twice in a row for my trips to Hong Kong in the past 2.5 years, what more can I say!

GGuest UserPhenomenal place to stay - only quirk getting out of the way first it can be slightly tricky to find being in the mid Levels, so a taxi/shuttle would be better than walking. However, the room was spacious and very nice, clean with a great view from the 13th floor. The front desk was extra helpful by helping with my phone charger issue on top of being punctual, helpful etc. Great building as well, there is a Fusion maybe three minutes away walking so picking up random necessities is useful and a gas station with some random items as well so you will always be able to grab something quick. Great little restaurant next to the greeting area as well, Hainanese chicken is great and I used my free drink voucher as well. Fantastic place to stay, I will be back next time I am in HK

MM2g91nc0r****Facilities: There's a 24-hour gym, which the kids loved. Cleanliness: Relatively clean. Environment: The blackout curtains aren't great, but it wasn't too noisy being on the street. I'm not sure if it was the AC or the ventilation system, but it was a bit loud. You can't hear any noise from other rooms or upstairs, so overall it was okay. The two beds were pushed together, which was perfect for a family traveling with two kids. Service: Check-in and check-out were both quick, and the service was very thoughtful. Storing luggage at check-out was super convenient, and the front desk staff were very nice. Facilities: There are tram stops nearby and a bus stop right outside. There's also a fruit store and a pharmacy next to the hotel, and a 7-Eleven across the street, making dining, living, and transportation quite convenient. Being close to Times Square makes getting around easy. The hotel's logo isn't very prominent; I'd suggest hanging it higher and making it stand out with different colors and lights. Recommendation: Try the Yoshinoya nearby. It's close to the market, so you can also check out the market for good food.

Nneeson0907Overall, I'm quite satisfied. The service was pretty good, and they assigned us a room on the 18th floor. However, the downside of the 18th floor is that you have to take the elevator to the 17th floor and then walk up the stairs, which isn't convenient if you have large luggage. On the other hand, the advantage is that the 18th floor is an executive floor with great views, so it felt like an upgrade that wasn't quite an upgrade. The location was convenient, and it offered good value for money. Finding a room of this quality for just over HKD 1,000 in Hong Kong is quite rare. However, the check-in process was very inefficient, and the front desk staff's service attitude was just average.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel could perfectly recreate a scene from a 90s TVB movie or drama. The front desk lady provided good service. No deposit was required, and I could store 1-2 pieces of luggage for free; anything more would incur a charge. As soon as I entered the room, I was hit with a strong, musty, damp smell. It got a bit better after turning on the air conditioning. However, the old-fashioned AC unit was incredibly noisy, and I couldn't sleep well all night. There was no bottled water provided, and no hotel towels, though disposable toothbrushes were available. My travel adapter wasn't suitable, but I could borrow one from the front desk. The location is good, in an alleyway off a bustling street, about a 10-minute walk from the MTR station. But for this price, I could get a much better place where I come from. It's a bit disappointing how Hong Kong's sky-high land prices mean hotel prices and facilities/services don't quite measure up.

11383237****This was my husband and my first time visiting Hong Kong for two days. When I booked, Island Shangri-La was the only hotel that offered a refundable option, and I had heard great things about their service, so I decided to book it. After checking in, I truly experienced the prime location. Right across from the hotel entrance is Hong Kong Park, which, although not large, is beautifully scenic. The plants and trees are all labeled, there are fountains and streams, and even a delightful aviary with various birds to observe. It's perfect for families with children. Diagonally opposite the park entrance, not far away, is the Peak Tram entrance – surprise number two! Buying a 'red diamond' ticket allowed us direct entry, saving a lot of waiting time, and we got to enjoy the stunning Victoria Harbour view from the top. Below the hotel is Pacific Place mall, a high-end shopping destination, and a short walk in front takes you to the seaside park, which is incredibly convenient. Now, about the hotel service – it was excellent, absolutely fantastic! The front desk lady was warm, thoughtful, and highly professional. She helped us get a room with a beautiful view, which was a huge plus! All the staff members were humble and polite, and their Mandarin communication was excellent. The concierges at the entrance were courteous and welcoming. For breakfast, the hot noodle bowl was quite large, and the young man serving piled on plenty of toppings, cooked just right – it was delicious, surprise number three, and definitely deserves praise. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
