I chose this hotel for a concert at AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), and it's super close to both the airport and AWE. You can walk to AWE in just a few minutes via the skybridge. They also have shuttle buses to the airport and Tung Chung. The service was excellent; I arrived a little after 9 AM, and since a room was ready, the front desk let me check in right away. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, pretty standard fare.
The downside is that the room was really, really small. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong musty smell. The sink and the bed were separated only by a small table. The room window was tiny and couldn't be opened, and the air conditioning wouldn't turn off, making it quite cold. Also, there were at least four mirrors in the room, with three of them facing the bed.
Arrived late at night and was pleasantly surprised to wake up to a sea view after opening the curtains. The room was quite spacious and well-equipped, even with a power adapter for charging. There were plenty of mirrors, and the bathroom even had a vanity table. The windows were sealed, so you couldn't open them for a breeze, and the exhaust fan had to be on constantly.
The major issue was the strong musty smell coming from the drawer in the entryway. I just casually opened it to put some things away and was hit with a very noticeable moldy odor. I'd seen reviews mentioning a musty smell, but I didn't notice it upon check-in. Then, the next night, I opened the drawer again and was overwhelmed by the smell. Is this a common problem with wooden cabinets? I really hope the hotel addresses this odor issue, especially since so many people have reported it. Overall, my stay was quite good, right up until I opened that drawer.

Stayed at Regal Airport Hotel recently. Being the only hotel directly connected to Hong Kong International Airport, the location is definitely very convenient for transit and early flights.
The rooms are quite old and could use some refurbishment, but the room size is still excellent — spacious enough even for 4 guests comfortably.
One area that could be improved is the walking distance within the hotel/access areas. It may not be very elderly-friendly, especially considering the hotel is positioned at a premium price range. Providing buggy/cart services would greatly improve guest convenience and overall experience.
On the positive side, the breakfast was really good with a healthy variety of choices. Overall, still a practical and comfortable choice for airport travellers and families.

Overall, my stay was quite good. Before checking in, I'd seen reviews online mentioning that the facilities were a bit old, but I actually found them to be perfectly acceptable. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning made a noticeable sound when running, but I found it tolerable. The room size was quite spacious, and the layout was very practical. It was also very clean. The service was polite, and they even accommodated a request I made when booking. When I checked in, I asked for a room with a better view, and they immediately upgraded me to a higher floor. Also, I had read online that the room type I booked required showering in the bathtub, but there was actually a separate shower stall, so I assume I got an upgrade, which was very nice!

The hotel's location is excellent, and the entrance is very noticeable. It's close to the Wan Chai MTR station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. We arrived a bit early, and the front desk agent, Lina Liu, kindly arranged an early check-in for us since there was a room available. After dropping off our luggage, we were able to go out and explore right away. She also gave each of us a canvas bag; her service was warm and attentive. The room itself was great – clean, tidy, and bright, with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. As someone with sleep issues, I slept soundly for ten hours. All the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. There's an outdoor pool and foot bath in the side wing, which was very relaxing for a massage after a day of walking. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, so the images are of the nearby streetscape. I'll definitely come back again.
This hotel's location is super convenient for us, especially since we needed to shoot some scenes nearby, so it was the most practical choice. However, the hotel room itself is really tiny. Normally, it's priced at around 200-300 RMB, but during the holidays, it jumped to over 1000 RMB – a huge rip-off, in my opinion. The bathroom is incredibly small; the toilet is positioned in such a way that you can't sit on it properly, you have to sit sideways. The room is particularly cramped, and you have to shower standing in the bathtub. The biggest issue was that the curtains wouldn't close completely. We thought we could just deal with it, but then the outdoor lights were so bright late at night that we couldn't sleep. We had to call staff to help us out, and honestly, we barely got any rest that night. On the upside, the surrounding area is very convenient, with lots of our favorite restaurants nearby. It has a great, lively atmosphere.

Two years later, I'm back in Tung Chung! Last time, Four Points left a great impression, so this time, my whole family unanimously agreed to stay here again.
It's normal for hotel prices to go up during holidays. Four Points' price increase was reasonable, not much more expensive than during the summer.
This trip was all about taking it easy. Lantau Island really feels like escaping the city's hustle and bustle.
Considering the price point, the hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are much larger than those on Hong Kong Island. Excellent value!
If you're not in a hurry, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Given the cost of living in Hong Kong, the price for the buffet breakfast is definitely worth it. The variety is good, and the quality is also decent.
Getting around is also convenient. There are shuttle buses to and from the airport and the MTR station.
(It was a bit difficult to find the hotel shuttle bus after landing at the airport – maybe a sign could be put up?)

The Royal Garden Hotel is right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. I first stayed there back in 1999 when I visited Hong Kong, and I remember thinking how beautiful it was, especially the rooftop pool – absolutely stunning! The hotel's atrium restaurant, with its soaring, open-plan design spanning over ten floors, was also impressive. I've stayed at The Royal Garden several times since, and even on my most recent visit, it still felt remarkably new! Fantastic value for money.

I was very happy with the room; it was clean and quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel. The gentleman with glasses at the front desk who checked me in (I didn't catch his name) provided excellent service. My room wasn't ready yet, but he managed to find me one that met my requests, which was great. The breakfast was decent and matched the room rate, so no complaints there. The hotel's location is perfect; it's so convenient for getting around, and there are tons of restaurants right downstairs. I highly recommend Xue Ji Li Ji and Lu Ba E; we ate at both for two consecutive days! We also tried the exciting Dutch Trail hike nearby, which my husband and I really enjoyed – it was full of wilderness charm. I'd recommend it to fellow hikers; just wear appropriate athletic gear, sun protection, insect repellent, and bring plenty of water. I'll definitely book the Hopewell Hotel again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The A11 bus to the airport is also not far away. It's just a 5-minute walk to the MTR station. The room was clean, though admittedly not large, but perfectly fine for two people. Considering the area, the price was very reasonable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay! I booked Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong through Trip.com and the process was seamless — instant confirmation, easy check-in and everything matched the listing perfectly. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient, my room was clean and comfortable with all the essentials, and the location was excellent for exploring Causeway Bay and getting around the city. Great value for money and a stress-free booking experience. I’d definitely stay here again!
The hotel is very close to Wan Chai MTR, with plenty of dining options nearby. The location is excellent—very convenient for getting around Hong Kong. I will definitely come back to this hotel on my next visit.
I love this place - we had amazing view, the hotel was very clean, and we were always greeted by the front desk team. It’s surrounding is beautiful- hard to find in HK. Will definitely return
Family of four travelled during 11/01-16/01, room 978 4pax room. The room is clean, provided with enough amenities for four , socket , towel, sandals etc. Downstairs connected to MOKO mall and Wong Kok East MTR station, very convenient for getting food , shopping and transit. The only drawback is we had to shower inside/stand in the bathtub , we have to climb in&out , which is quite dangerous & not friendly for elderly and Overall is good and satisfied, will comeback for sure.
A 2 nights stay because of typhoon ragasa, room with powerful AC, stable WiFi connection. Breakfast is good for many kind of food and drinks, even have sparkling wine. Appreciate having special lunch and dinner arrangements during typhoon with reasonable price. Bookmark if have next time. (touch wood)
Another great stay at this hotel! It’s convenient (right by the MTR metro exit A1), cozy and clean. They’ve recently launched workshops on Japanese and Chinese tea ceremony, as well as healing experiences. Very cool and interesting! The staff speak decent English and are efficient in Mandarin too.
Stayed in the Ocean Front room with 2 queen beds & the view couldn’t be beaten. An absolute pleasure to watch the ships coming and going. The breakfast at the hotel was awesome & had great Western options for the whole family. We also used the free shuttle to two MTR stations, making travel around very easy. Shuttles run every 30 minutes. While the hotel isn’t centrally located, the services they provide make up for it. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
excellent location and renovated rooms. Rather small for 2 people though but that's not unusual in Hong Kong. Recommended. To get to the hotel you take the N1 exit from the brown line. Like in the photo. There's an elevator and is a great help if you carry luggage. From there you'll walk 3 minutes to the hotel.
