"This time, I didn't plan ahead. My return trip was suddenly delayed, and I needed to switch hotels last minute, so I just booked one nearby. I was genuinely amazed by this place! For around 1100, the room was incredibly spacious, completely unlike the 'every inch of land is precious' small rooms I always hear about. It had two bathrooms, a huge bed, two TVs, and a large bathtub with a separate shower. The amenities were also super comprehensive, including a universal adapter and complimentary bottled water in the room. I truly recommend room 1042! They also have all the disposable items for children, which you can ask for at the front desk. Highly recommended! It's also quite close to the MTR station. Just across the road is Kowloon Park, which is definitely worth a visit. Miramar Place is diagonally opposite, as well as Muji, and there's a Don Quijote import supermarket downstairs. Highly, highly recommend!"

Hotel near Hung Hom and Kowloon City,Hong Kong
Award winning chic and cozy Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees is situated in the quaint urban eastern shore of Hong Kong’s Kowloon peninsula, near Mongkok and the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal. Just is 6 to 8 minutes walk from MTR Sung Wong Toi Station. Complimentary frequent shuttle bus to and from MTR Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Tsim Sha Tsui district. It takes 10 minutes to reach the business districts and sightseeing destinations, and 15 minutes to reach the high-speed rail station, providing convenient transportation to and from mainland China. MTR Hong Kong West Kowloon Station is connected to MTR Kowloon Station and Austin Station, allowing you to easily and conveniently travel to various districts in Hong Kong. Features modern guestrooms, suites and family rooms with Wi-Fi access, suitable for short or long term business, leisure and family travellers. Outstanding hotel facilities including over 6,300 sq. ft. multi-functional space, indoor and outdoor restaurants and bar serving International and local cuisine, 24 hour business centre, well equipped fitness centre, large outdoor swimming pool, children pool, whirlpool and sauna.

"I booked this hotel for a concert, but it's a bit of a walk to both Kai Tak and the MTR station. They do have a shuttle service to the high-speed rail station and Tsim Sha Tsui on the hour. Although the room was small, it was quite comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the surroundings of the hotel aren't great; it's in a residential area, and the local shops have poor service attitudes and close very early. If you're not going to Kai Tak, there's really nothing to do nearby."

"Our rooms were upgraded as the rooms that we booked weren't ready, so they decided to upgrade for us, which was so kind. Rooms are big for Hong Kong's standard, beds are comfortable, transportation is very convenient as all types of transport such as tram, bus and mtr are just a short walking distance, all worked out well. Just a little advice for those who booked, please remember to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste as the hotel doesn't provide. Other than that, everything was fine with us."

"🌼 A hotel that's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. I stayed during the peak summer family season, and with a large number of international guests, the lobby was incredibly lively. 🌸 One of the housekeeping staff quickly met my request, cleaned efficiently, and was very friendly – kudos to her! 👍 I also encountered several male staff members in the lobby who proactively offered assistance, which was great! 😎 The hairdryer and kettle in the room were of much better quality than before. The bath towels were nice and thick, but the lack of a dirty towel basket was a minor drawback. The duvet and pillows were decent, though not the most comfortable. No complimentary bottled water in the room, which is typical for Hong Kong. The view outside the window was still of that construction site – Hong Kong's building speed is really... quite slow~ ⚠️ Areas for improvement that weren't ideal. The hotel can take these as constructive criticism or as encouragement, no AI response needed: 1. Front Desk: The young man who checked me in was neither proactive nor warm; his cold attitude isn't really suited for the service industry, especially for direct customer interaction. 2. The air conditioning in the room was noisy. The hotel doesn't need to give the standard 'machine check showed no fault' reply; if a customer perceives it as loud, that's their personal experience. 3. All four elevators were stuffy and hot, with neither air conditioning nor ventilation."

Hotel near Tsuen Wan,Hong Kong
The Royal View Hotel is located in Tsuen Wan, overlooking the impressive Tsing Ma and Ting Kai bridges, a few minutes from the Tsuen Wan MTR station. This location offers good access to transportation networks linking the Hong Kong International Airport, Asia World-Expo and Hong Kong Disneyland. A complimentary shuttle bus runs between the hotel, Tsuen Wan and Tsuen Wan West. This Hong Kong hotel features rooms and suites featuring contemporary Chinese design and broadband Internet access, most of which also offer views of the sea and Tsing Ma Bridge. Other rooms look out over the hotel swimming pool and gardens. Recreation and leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a health club with gym, a sauna, a steam room and Jacuzzis. Hong Kong Government will impose a ban on single-use plastic products with the first stage set to take effect on 22 April, 2024. Hotel is barred from providing customers with free disposable plastic items such as bottled water, shaving kit and shower cap. To take a further step, disposable plastic water bottles will be replaced with a reusable water bottle in guest rooms, complemented by self-service water dispensers located near the elevator lobby. If necessary, please purchase the regulated products from vending machines at the hotel lobby.

"This was my second trip from Guangdong, and I chose this hotel specifically because it has metered parking right outside. However, the parking is free from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday, and from 10 AM to 10 PM on Sundays and public holidays. If there are no spots available there, you can opt for the hotel's own parking for HKD250 per day. Image two shows the view from the hotel's sea-view room. The shipping lane can get quite busy at times, and it's fascinating to watch cargo ships constantly moving in and out. Image three displays the hotel's breakfast, which offers a selection of fixed set menus. The hotel is also currently running a breakfast promotion for guests, which makes it pretty good value for money. The nearby beach and Ting Kau Village are also perfect for a very chill stroll."

Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong

The hotel facilities are noticeably dated and showing their age. The air conditioning in the room was particularly loud at night, it made a restful sleep nearly impossible. However the front desk staff was attentive and genuinely helpful. At check-in, she proactively flagged that 10–11am tends to get hectic, and only two lifts were running for the whole building, guests on higher floors should allow at least 20 minutes before checkout to get down. A thoughtful heads up, given my room was on the 31st floor. Checkout the next morning was a bit of a slog. It took nearly 10 minutes just to get a lift down to the lobby.

The location is super convenient! It's less than a 10-minute walk from where the airport bus drops you off, and there are tons of great restaurants nearby. Plus, it's really close to Wan Chai Station. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved the snacks in the room; I forgot to take a picture, but the staff specifically looked them up and brought me more, which was incredibly thoughtful. I highly recommend staying here!

Coming to Hong Kong this time, I searched for many hotels on Trip.com, but most rooms were tiny and the facilities were outdated. I finally decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong, and as soon as I entered, I was blown away by the sea-view room on the first floor with a large balcony! Stepping out, you're greeted by an endless expanse of clear blue sea – the view is absolutely stunning! 🌊 At night, I enjoyed the sea breeze on the balcony, watching the starry sky, eating fruit, and having drinks. It was so relaxing I didn't want to leave. Getting around from the hotel is super convenient; there's a free shuttle bus directly to the MTR station, making it easy to go shopping, explore, and try out all the amazing local food. The buffet breakfast was a bit simple, so don't have high expectations. Once you're near the MTR station, there are so many Hong Kong delicacies that you'll wish you had more stomachs to try them all. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with a healing sea view and excellent value for money. The experience was fantastic, and it's definitely on my must-stay list for my next visit to Hong Kong. I'll definitely be back!

The MTR (subway) and public transport are right nearby, and the surrounding malls are very close. The area is relatively quiet, allowing you to experience local life, giving it a Kamakura-like vibe. The restaurants are all places where locals frequently eat.

The hotel is nestled at the foot of the mountain, offering a tranquil environment away from the hustle and bustle of areas near MTR stations. However, it's about a 20-minute walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, or a 6-7 minute taxi ride (around HKD 20-35). We were assigned a room on the 28th floor facing Central, and the view was absolutely stunning. We had a complete panoramic view of the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, the US Consulate, the Peak Tram Terminus, Government House, and even the distant Bank of China Tower, Standard Chartered Bank Building, and IFC. The staff were all very warm, friendly, and accommodating. They even helped bring up our food deliveries to the room. The room cleanliness was excellent. The soundproofing, however, was average; we could hear louder noises from upstairs and next door. In the mornings, we could also hear the birds chirping from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens below. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but there was a kitchen available for cooking. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you're looking for something a bit more unique. Compared to 5-star and 4-star hotels near MTR stations, this place offers a really good stay.

We booked a family room, and for Hong Kong, the room was really spacious. The two queen-sized beds were large and comfortable, the bedding was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is located inside a mall. It's just a short walk from the MTR exit – turn right, and you'll find the hotel's back entrance. Step out the front entrance, and the bus stop is not far away. Dining, shopping, and a supermarket are all conveniently located in one spot. The Man Wah Restaurant next door had good food that our child enjoyed. Unfortunately, it rained for several days, so we didn't get to experience the outdoor swimming pool.

I’ve stayed at Dorsett WC 2 weeks in a row and was pleasantly surprised by the overall professional standard. All employees I interacted with assisted and sorted out issues in a quiet competent manner. A problem with the TV was resolved by pulling together people from IT dpt, housekeeping and a Gen Z employee who spotted the remaining problem immediately. Room rates are well priced and I upgraded myself to a premier (larger room) with great view of the Happy Valley race course for a marginal amount. Both rooms I stayed in had spacious walk in showers with premium shower gel, shampoo etc. Overall extremely pleasant stay with great breakfast buffet.

This is a brand new hotel, located less than a minute from Yau Ma Tei MTR Exit C1. The young staff at the front desk were incredibly polite and patient. There are plenty of great food options nearby to try, plus large shopping malls and cinemas. It's very convenient and safe to get around.

My family and I recently enjoyed a local staycation at The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong, and the overall experience was absolutely perfect – it definitely deserves a five-star rating! As local guests, we felt an incredible sense of relaxation, as if we had instantly escaped abroad, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The hotel's location, nestled between mountains and the sea, offers expansive and breathtaking ocean views that are truly refreshing. The cleanliness was impeccable; both our room and the public areas were spotless, which brought great peace of mind, especially traveling with young children. The hotel boasts an impressive array of facilities. The infinity pool is perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots, and the dedicated children's play areas kept our kids thoroughly entertained, making it a true family vacation paradise. The service, however, was the highlight. The staff were friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to the needs of local families, making us feel genuinely cared for. All in all, to enjoy such a high-quality resort experience without needing to fly is remarkable. Both the hardware and software aspects of this hotel are flawless. It was a delightful family staycation, and we will absolutely be visiting again. Highly recommended for all local families looking for a relaxing getaway!

This stay at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong's Deluxe Twin Room was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, and for Hong Kong standards, quite spacious. The beds were comfortable. Although it wasn't a newly renovated room, it didn't impact the stay at all. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel's location. It's incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I especially want to commend Michael, the Sales Director. He was enthusiastic and polite, actively helping me resolve issues and providing practical dining recommendations. He also thoroughly explained all the discounts available with the hotel room key card, which was very thoughtful. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent service. Next time, I'll definitely try one of their newly renovated signature rooms, looking forward to an even more upgraded experience. Five stars!
