"Let me start by saying the experience was excellent.
1. **Location**: There are four Wanda Reign Hotels, each located at one of the four cardinal points of the Bagua diagram on Jinjie Street. Qixia Wuyi is one of them, and it's the second closest to the Wudang Mountain entrance.
2. **Hotel Layout**: The four smaller hotels are situated above a small street. Qixia Wuyi is above a photo studio, making it the quietest. The rooms are arranged in a grid pattern, and there are only three floors. The front desk is on the first floor, with most rooms on the second. There's a room type with windows facing the hallway, which you can see in my pictures. Most rooms, however, have windows at the back. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so while the stairs aren't steep, elderly guests should be mindful. The front desk offers free luggage storage; if you're staying for a short period and don't want to carry all your bags, you can store your main luggage and just take your essentials to your room.
3. **Room Facilities**: The front desk upgraded us to a family room, which had one 1.5-meter double bed and one 1.3-meter single bed. The bathroom is split into wet and dry areas, with a smart toilet room, a shower room, and a vanity area. The only downside is that the vanity area in the bathroom doesn't have a door, so it's not separated from the bedroom.
4. **Service**: When booking through Ctrip, we received a complimentary ticket to the Wudang Yimeng performance each night, which is a stage play with excellent stage effects. The front desk has a self-service beverage vending machine, and there's a laundry room and several small tables on the second floor. Downstairs from the hotel is Jinjie Street, which, unlike other scenic areas, has normal prices. There are many chain restaurants and stores like Starbucks, Ruixing Coffee, Dookoo, Mixue Bingcheng, McDonald's, and JD Supermarket. However, these eateries close early, so if you arrive too late, you'll have to order takeout."

"This Haiyou who is close to the East Station is really close. It looks like a gas station. Hahaha. It feels very quiet and comfortable. It is suitable for people with high demand for accommodation. Besides, the room was shocked by the lighting. The weather was good for these two days. The lighting was really amazing and entered. Before I went, the air conditioner was on. A power card and a room card were really comfortable to stay in the summer. The soundproofing was also very good. The room decoration was also what I liked. The main reason was that the price was really high. There was free soy milk coffee. Soy milk was a bit like Jiuyang soy milk or Vivi soy milk. Don't like this taste. All in all, it is highly recommended. The picture is a screenshot of yesterday's real shot video."

GGuest UserFinally got to Wudang Mountain for some much-needed relaxation! This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, especially the large terrace â the view is breathtaking. On a clear day, seeing the distant mountains and sea of clouds instantly brings a sense of peace. The room itself is designed in a new Chinese style, with thoughtful details, and the bathroom looks very high-quality; it was a really comfortable stay. Beyond the beautiful scenery, the overall experience was top-notch! In the afternoon, there's complimentary Shenshi tea, perfect for sitting down, sipping tea, and chatting â so pleasant. Breakfast was also delicious, with a rich variety of fresh options that left me feeling energized. You can also catch the sunset over at Nanyan Palace. The biggest surprise was the free Tai Chi class! Practicing Tai Chi with the instructor on the terrace in the evening, with the sky above and mountain breeze, was incredibly therapeutic. The instructor was very professional and responsible, correcting postures hand-in-hand and patiently guiding us, so even beginners could quickly pick it up. The service throughout was superb, making us feel completely at home. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Wudang Mountain!

MMeixiangxiangliLet's start with the positives: convenient transportation and a room with a panoramic river view as booked! Now for the negatives: on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the air conditioner vent was leaking. The complimentary fruit platter offered as an apology felt very insincere. There should have been a greeting for the Mid-Autumn Festival as a gesture of human care! On both the 25th and 26th, getting up at 9 AM, I encountered housekeepers vacuuming the carpets while I was using the elevator. I told her that it should be vacuumed with a proper vacuum cleaner, otherwise, dust would just keep flying around in the enclosed space! She ignored me, probably thinking I was being difficult. So, while the view is great, the other services and hygiene are just so-so!!!

GGuest UserThe river view is beautiful, and the location is great, very close to Lihuangpi Road and the riverside, so you can just stroll downstairs. However, there's no subway nearby.
The hotel doesn't offer twin rooms with a direct river view. On each floor, there are only two 180-degree direct river view rooms. Although they are back-to-back, their doors are at opposite ends of the hallway. If a family books two 180-degree rooms, it's quite a hassle to meet up, as you have to walk a long way around. Your only option would be to pay extra to upgrade to a 270-degree river view room.
There's only a single armchair by the window, and no small coffee table. When enjoying the river view from the window, there's nowhere to put your drink â you have to put it on the windowsill... If there are two of you, you'd have to drag the bench from the end of the bed over?
The ergonomic chair was incredibly uncomfortable, and I found a layer of dust in the middle while trying to figure out how to adjust it. Both the ergonomic chair and the single armchair felt dirty.
Perhaps it was peak season, but there were no perks or complimentary items. The 105 yuan 'Summer Enjoyment' voucher was also pretty useless, as it could only be applied to certain double set menus priced at 299 or 399, for example.

Ddc5666As a loyal customer of Ascott Group, I've stayed at numerous Ascott and Somerset properties in various cities, and this one in Wuhan truly ranks among the best. It surpasses many 5-star Ascott hotels in other cities in terms of facilities, service, and overall quality. Although the breakfast was a bit simple, it was clean, and some 5-star hotels offer equally simple breakfasts. So, you're getting a 5-star experience for a 4-star price. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Wuhan. The best part is having a huge mall downstairs with a Yonghui supermarket â it's incredibly convenient! Plus, my two-bedroom deluxe apartment faced a quiet residential area, which is perfect for someone like me who's a very light sleeper. I really have to praise them. Before check-in, they even asked about my preferences beyond what was in my booking, which is a level of service I haven't seen in many 5-star hotels. And the free parking in the mall? That really highlights the absurdity of paying over a hundred RMB for overnight parking at a certain 5-star hotel in Beijing â truly, no comparison, no harm! I can't even list all the good points, hahaha!

AAnonymous UserFrom the online pictures, the hotel and its premises looked dated. However, the warm ambience with soft lightning, spacious walkways and pastel decorations made us look forward to returning back to the hotel everyday. You can't fault the location of the hotel - there are 2 entrances to ensure easy access to where ever you want to go.
One entrance gives immediate access to pickups and dropoffs, Jiqing street, not mentioned endless restaurants, shops and street peddles lining up on both sides of the streets.
The other entrance gives immediate access to the bustling pedestrian streets, McDonald's, KFC, and other countless eating and shopping options, including souvenir shops, so you could easily grab something before you depart. A mall links to the hotel as well. You could also see a group of seemingly retirees dancing outside every morning.
You could also opt for food and parcel delivery and then hotel's trusty robot will deliver to your room, if not, the front door desk will assist to store for you till you collect.
The room we stayed was huge and the hotel service staff was very helpful. Many items at the breakfast buffet provided by an external vendor (so we were told) was cold when we went at 7am, such as the dim sum items like the bao and dumplings, and the cooked food like fried noodles. Many of the diners were complaining amongst ourselves. However, the staff there said the food is cooked anyway, so we could still eat them.
When I reflected to the front desk, we were given some other breakfast options to make up for our bad experience. A male staff even gave us some toys and souvenirs that made us smile. It is not about getting freebies. I like that the various hotel staff at the front desk cared about guest experience and tried their best within their capacity to show that they want guests to feel happy staying at the hotel. Strong hotel support is really very important to travellers because our itinerary begins and ends with the hotel. So kudos to all the hotel staff who attended to us during our stay.
Usually we won't return to the same hotel so as to try other options. But I think we will return to Dorset the next time we visit Wuhan again.

I spent two nights at Quanji Hotel in Xiangyang, and I left with a mix of impressions some solid wins, one or two quirks, and a sense that this place knows what travelers like me actually want after a long day of sightseeing or meetings.
First impressions
- Exterior and lobby: Modern, clean, and uncluttered. The lobby feels calm, not trying too hard to impress you, which is nice after a long train ride. The check-in process was smooth, with staff who spoke enough English to help, but not so much that you felt talked down to.
- Location: Pretty convenient depending on what youâre here for. It isnât in the center of Xiangyangâs busiest streets, but youâre within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that arenât overhyped tourist traps.

JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly.
The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

AAnonymous UserCame to Yichang to see the Three Gorges and absolutely picked the right hotel! The location is incredible â super close to the Three Gorges Tourist Center, so catching an early boat was a breeze. Plus, Wanda Plaza is right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The river view from the room was so therapeutic; opening the window revealed a magnificent panorama of the river. Watching the sunset over the water in the evening really enhanced the ambiance. The newly renovated room was clean and elegant, and even though it's a new hotel, there was hardly any new-building smell, and the air purifier was a thoughtful touch. Miss Shuangshuang at the front desk was very enthusiastic and efficient with the check-in. Breakfast had a wide variety, including hot dry noodles, baozi, and various porridges. It was great to fill up before heading out to explore the sights â so comfortable!
