We stayed here for 3 nights while in Shanghai and enjoyed our time there. The location is excellent ( walk right out onto Nanjing Pedestrian street) The staff is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is clean and the room was spacious! Check in was a breeze. We opted for the family room and it had a separate living area and bedroom. It was super nice. We had a view of Nanjing Rd and heard zero noise from the bustling road below us. They provided complimentary tea and coffee in the room along with a mini fridge filled with various items ( drinks, beer, water and chocolates) They provided a safe, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, slippers and robes. It was my sons birthday they day we arrived and they sent a cake to our room:) I had mentioned that in the booking along with a request for a view. Both were obliged :) The breakfast was excellent with a ton of options ( both American and Asian cuisine) There is plenty of seating and great views! The concierge was fantastic! They arranged a riverboat cruise for us and an amazing massage for my mom and I. The spa was great and we had the most relaxing massage. The spa staff was fantastic and so friendly. They even took us in very last minute without issue. Though it is separate from the hotel- they gave a fantastic discount for being a guest there. Our stay was a 10/10 and I would stay here again!!

Great location, only a 10-minute walk from Shanghai Station, and super convenient for the subway. It's just three stops to Nanjing Road, and perfect for an evening visit to the Bund. The room was spacious, but the downside was the loud traffic noise from the elevated highway at night – a constant rumble. Also, the shower had two unmarked buttons, so when I turned it on, the overhead shower suddenly blasted water, which was a bit of a shock! As for the bedding, some stains might not have come out in the wash, but they clearly changed the linens. Other than that, the service was really good.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Chalet Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai. The hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, shopping areas, restaurants, and many popular attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the hotel provided good facilities that made our stay enjoyable and hassle-free. A special thank you to Xiao Lei for his exceptional service and warm hospitality throughout our stay. He was always friendly, welcoming, and willing to assist whenever needed. We especially appreciated his help in arranging a private car transfer to Pudong Airport, which made our departure smooth and stress-free. The combination of the hotel's excellent location, cleanliness, facilities, and outstanding customer service made our stay a memorable one. Thank you, Xiao Lei and the Chalet Hotel team, for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Shanghai.

The front desk staff were really warm and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is super convenient. You can easily access People's Square Metro right outside, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is just next door, making it perfect for dining and shopping. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

The facilities are complete and the room is clean. I specifically requested a quiet room when booking, and they did assign me one further from the elevator. However, the soundproofing is very poor. I could still hear noises from the hallway and the next room in the middle of the night. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider staying here.

The best thing about this hotel is, it's very close to the airport easy to reach it took just 15mnts to reach the hotel and the taxi fare is just 30 RMB and surprisingly the hotel rates are very cheap I just got a neat and clean room for 116 Rmb along with the breakfast free, I suggestion is to book through Trip.com easy to book. staff, reception staff (the girl with the tattoo and the girl with the specs helped me a lot like a family) are very friendly, smiling, helping a lot, welcoming with the pure heart, and the hotel room is clean, neat and it has all the facilities just beside the hotel there are a lot of restaurants to enjoy the local food, the place quite and calm, my overall experience is very nice I enjoyed the stay, I give perfect rating score to the full. and I highly recommend the stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, close to public transportation and many attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing. I especially appreciated the cleanliness and the excellent service throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommended! We drove all the way from Ningbo for a three-day trip to Shanghai Disneyland, and after comparing various options, we settled on this guesthouse. The experience far exceeded our expectations! 🤩 As everyone knows, due to planning restrictions, it's difficult to build large, star-rated hotels within 5 kilometers of Disney. This guesthouse is very close to the park, and the shuttle service is quick, saving us a lot of travel time. Parking was also convenient for those driving, so the location is a definite advantage. 🌿 The guesthouse environment is incredibly soothing. There's a small river nearby, and on the other side, you can see fields with rice paddies and corn. The overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The weather in Shanghai recently has been delightful, with fresh air and pleasant temperatures. It's a bit cool in the mornings and evenings, and opening the window in the morning brings in fresh country air. It was a very comfortable stay. 🔥 We arrived close to 11 PM after a dinner gathering with friends, but the guesthouse manager still greeted us warmly and meticulously, showing no sign of impatience. 💝 I must especially commend the proprietress for her thoughtful and considerate service: We booked a family room for the first night. For the second night, we originally planned to extend our stay without changing rooms, but only a twin suite was available, which would have meant the hassle of moving luggage. The proprietress proactively called us and upgraded us for free to a deluxe twin room with two 1.8-meter beds for both nights. This saved us the trouble of moving our luggage, and this sincerity was truly a big plus! The room was spotlessly clean, inside and out, and the bedding was neat and comfortable. While the breakfast wasn't as varied as a large hotel, the taste was authentic and the ingredients were fresh. My wife and daughter both enjoyed it thoroughly. The 'nine-grid' dim sum and hot buns were delicious and filling – we ate our fill. Today, we're packing up to check out and take our daughter to the Shanghai Astronomy Museum. It's a rare holiday before her college entrance exams, and we cherish this family time. I sincerely wish the proprietress a thriving business with endless guests, and I also wish all the children who visit here peace, happiness, and healthy growth! We'll definitely choose this guesthouse again next time we visit Disney!

With an early flight, staying at this hotel was the most convenient option. The hotel itself was decent, nothing seriously wrong, but the pillows were a bit too high and almost gave me a stiff neck. I wish they provided both a high and a low pillow. Also, there's no outlet above the nightstand, which made charging my phone inconvenient.

We expected more for the price, but it is not bad. Not a 4 star for sure, but fits into a good 3 star category. Location is not great, not walkable to many places and even the riverfront promenade here is not the greatest. Taxis to anywhere will take a while. But the rooftop does have a fantastic view. They could have designed a better space u p there as it is not cozy nor pretty with the fake grass the way it is now. Breakfast was so-so with the food cluttered in a small room that gets crowded easily. AC is strong on top of the food making it very cold. Room was okay, bed quite small and door with gaps leaking lots of light during the night bothered us. They offer you a gift if you leave a 5 star review during check-out. Not a good sign..
