Pudong Airport transfer service: The value for money is really good.
Hygiene: Relatively tidy and clean, exceeding expectations.
Environment: The space feels quite comfortable once you enter.
Facilities: Has everything you need!
No need for kids and seniors to sleep at the airport overnight. At this price, I'd definitely stay here again!

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is very clean, with a great location near Line 14 station, and the surrounding area is open and quiet. The staff are very friendly and attentive, even providing foot baths and bedtime tea in the evening. The breakfast is delicious with a good variety of dishes. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

Taking an early morning flight from Pudong Airport makes staying at the Shanghai Pudong Airport Hotel the night before an absolute necessity! The South and North wings are equidistant from the departure hall, as they share the same elevators. Do note that for rooms of the same category, the South wing rooms are about 8 square meters larger than those in the North wing. The South wing operates at a quasi-4-star standard, while the North wing is more of an economy hotel, similar to the Motel 168 model. Sometimes, the prices for comparable rooms in the South and North wings aren't that different when booking. Staying in the South wing truly feels like a good choice! My only minor disappointment was that the hotel didn't provide children's slippers.

The front desk was great; they offered a free room upgrade and complimentary breakfast. The hotel's airport shuttle service was also very convenient. The room itself was nice, clean, and hygienic. Breakfast started early, which was perfect for my morning flight, and the shuttle departed for the airport right on time, making travel super easy. I'll definitely book here again next time.

Staying at the Heye Hotel on a high floor offers a view of the Huangpu River, and they even provided tickets for the Oriental Pearl TV Tower's two spheres. My mom and I had a great time! For this value for money, you won't find anything better in Lujiazui. The bar on the 30th floor also offers a view of the Oriental Pearl Tower – I wish I had known sooner! I'd definitely come back again; I'm very satisfied. Those two tickets for the spheres were such a great deal. The breakfast was good. Each stay includes two tickets to the spheres for sightseeing: perfect!

Facilities: The Executive Room in the West Wing has a smart toilet 🚽.
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy.
Environment: Divided into West and East Wings, accessible via an indoor corridor. Outside, there's a small garden, which is quite nice.
Service: Excellent service. We received a large cookie 🍪 and drink vouchers upon check-in. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and evening happy hour light meals were both great 👌.

The hotel is a bit far from Pudong Airport. The shuttle to the airport runs hourly by bus, and it takes about ten minutes to get there. The hotel's hygiene and facilities are pretty good. I was given a room on the first floor, very close to the lobby, so I could just open the door in the morning and head straight to the airport shuttle bus.

Hello everyone! Mr. Li is back again!
Time flies. Last time I stayed at Pudong Shangri-La for five nights in late April, and this time, I’m here with my family for two nights.
First of all, the Christmas decorations inside and outside the hotel are absolutely beautiful. It's not a flashy kind of luxury, but rather a unique charm and romance that's characteristic of Shangri-La. Truly lovely.
My car was parked in B1, and Manager Wang from the front office happened to be by the elevator. He's a very responsible leader and helped us with our luggage and check-in. It made us feel so welcome, truly like coming home. It's precisely because leaders like Manager Wang are at Shangri-La that even the somewhat dated hardware at Pudong Shangri-La doesn't seem to matter as much. Perhaps I'll keep choosing this place because of outstanding individuals like Manager Wang.
The front desk staff, Xiao Guo, handled the entire check-in process courteously and professionally. Commendable.
I won't say much about the room's hardware. It feels very familiar, but it is indeed a bit old. Two out of three power outlets weren't working too well.
The hygiene was satisfactory as well, and all the aunties were very polite.
However, I do have one complaint to report this time. It concerns a male employee in the soft-boiled egg and beef porridge area at the breakfast restaurant. My wife and I passed by this area around 10:30 AM on the 7th. This male employee was preparing the porridge. We asked him something, and he suddenly responded very rudely, saying, “Five minutes! Five minutes!” His tone was extremely impatient, and he didn't even look up or make eye contact with us. It felt very disrespectful and impolite. Why do we remember this male employee so vividly? Because he sometimes also appears in the omelet and egg roll area, and when we stayed here in April, it was also this same male employee. I remember clearly that his attitude was very poor and nasty then too. He frequently glares at guests, not just us, but other guests as well. I hope the hotel investigates this and takes serious action against this employee. Firing him would probably be best. I honestly find his presence upsetting; it seems like he truly dislikes his job. To give some inappropriate examples, Manager Wang from the front office is like an angel from heaven, while this male employee is like an emissary from hell…
Also, the junior service staff in the restaurant are all very good and dedicated. Commendable.
Today around 11:30 AM, I called concierge to ask for a cart to help with check-out. However, after waiting for about 15 minutes, no concierge staff showed up. My elderly parents and children couldn't wait any longer. My wife and I had to carry all our bags ourselves, which was quite difficult. This was also very disappointing. Perhaps they were very busy, which I understand. I reported the situation to the concierge, and a male concierge wearing glasses said they were busy and seemed willing to help me with the luggage, but his movements were just too slow, too slow. I really couldn't take it anymore, so I just said, 'Never mind, I'll do it myself.' This felt a bit incomprehensible...
In the B1 parking lot, a Tesla was directly blocking the aisle, making it difficult for many guests to pass. Luggage and strollers couldn't get through normally. I hope the hotel can strengthen management in the parking area. The quality of some people is indeed very low nowadays, and this is particularly severe with the Tesla demographic. They're all somewhat abnormal individuals.
Finally, I still want to commend Manager Wang Binran from the front office. His resolute and serious attitude, and the way he treats guests like family, are truly exceptional. I hope the hotel's senior management sees this message and gives Manager Wang the highest recognition, ideally a promotion and a raise. I believe this is the sentiment and request from me, a loyal guest, and many other guests!

Hotel location is near the shanghai station so it's convenient if you bought train tickets departing from shanghai station. All hotel staff I met have been really friendly and helpful, very patient with my questions/ requests and also helping me find my tons of parcels everytime I ask for them (parcels are delivered to hotel front desk and they keep a log of ur parcels so it's very easy for parcel collection - you dont even have to look for them yourselves). Room was not very big but I would say its sufficient for 1 or 2 persons max. 1 thing to note however is that the hotel uses centralised heating so for those who came from hotter countries (like me) may not be used to it. I booked a room with windows specifically so that I can have cool air in the room, surroundings get quiet at night so i can still sleep even with the windows open. Room will be better with a mini fridge. Also, their food delivery robot doesnt seem to be working so all the food were delivered by the rider themselves personally (they have to ask for access card from the concierge staff). Also, no mini fridge in the room. Still a recommended stay for a chain hotel in shanghai, the price is acceptable and service is great!
Huge thanks to the front desk staff for their warm and enthusiastic service; it was a world of difference compared to the hotel in Dishui Lake a few days ago. I truly felt at home! The service was excellent, and the hotel's location is also great. Very satisfied! It would be perfect if the room facilities could be updated, especially the electrical outlets, which were quite bad. A big shoutout to the front desk staff in the picture!

BBaodaxiaocaomeiFacilities: Comprehensive, with robot delivery service that's quite fast.
Cleanliness: Excellent, very well-maintained.
Environment: Spacious, clean, and roomy, with large windows offering great views and good soundproofing.
Service: The staff attitude is very good, and service is prompt.
GGuest User,The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the check-in experience is truly satisfying. The front desk reception is prompt, and they also provide a detailed introduction to the hotel’s facilities while completing the check-in procedures. The rooms are tidy and comfortable with soft bedding, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The location is convenient with easy transportation nearby, and it’s pleasant to take a walk outside. The staff are friendly and ready to answer any questions, making guests feel at home. With shuttle services to and from Pudong Airport and Disneyland, overall, it’s a great accommodation choice.
CChihuotaiziThe hotel is located about 500 meters across from Shanghai Railway Station, making it very convenient for catching a train.
**Facilities**: Overall, they're good, though it might be an older building on a lower floor, which led to a slight odor. That's the only drawback.
**Hygiene**: The bedding and linens were very clean, and the bathroom was also spotless (though the toilet was a bit [censored, implied dirty/stained]).
**Environment**: The decor is a minimalist style. The desk is quite good.
**Service**: Impeccable, highly recommend.

MManlianrenThe hotel experience was really good. The location is excellent, right by the Lujiazui Central Green Space, making shopping, dining, and subway access very convenient. The service was also great; we had someone guide us to the front desk upon check-in, and deliveries could be sent directly to the room. The concierge service was excellent. It was just a cloudy day, so I hope to visit again when the weather is better. I'll definitely choose the classic Ritz-Carlton next time I stay.
开开水ksbooked a room at the Banyan tree for my parents who were visiting to celebrate their wedding anniversary and upon check in we were greeted by the most lovely staff who quickly helped my parents check in and upgraded us for free to a nicer room. It also had prepared Rose petals within the room and some desserts to celebrate their wedding anniversary which was very appreciated. The room was unbelievable and the view alone made the whole experience worth it. My parents absolutely loved their stay and couldn’t stop raving about the service of all the workers as well. we had some items that my family were unsure if we could bring onto flight, and the hotel staff even went out of their way to call the airline to confirm for us. hotel amenities also great, huge gym and pool with multiple spas, and gym having a reformer pilates machine too. we’ve been to many hotels within shanghai now and this is by far the best , with strong service, a modern room and incredible view. all the photos of the view in the review were taken from within the room, better than going out to the bund!
GGuest UserThe room is very clean and tidy, with a light tea scent that I like very much. The free midnight snack service is also very good. There is a cafe and the riverside opposite, which makes it very comfortable to walk around at night.
GGuest UserThe house is being renovated, so for the weekend, I decided to stay overnight as a local resident of Shanghai. During the two years of the pandemic, I also took my child to many iconic local hotels to experience them. After considering factors such as comfort, location, cost-effectiveness, dining, service, opening hours, and overall quality, I would highly recommend this hotel to friends planning a trip to Shanghai. The staff are very attentive and responsive to any needs. The location is excellent, situated in North Bund, Hongkou District, which is not too noisy and offers easy access to various amenities. For those visiting Shanghai, there is a stand-up comedy show nearby that is definitely worth checking out. The dining options are plentiful, and you can easily reach Siji Minfu within walking distance. The North Bund City Terrace and the Waibaidu Bridge are also within walking distance. Last night, I took a stroll around the area and stood at the North Bund City Terrace. Seeing Shanghai and Pudong's Oriental Pearl Tower from this vantage point was truly breathtaking.
AAnonymous UserPerfect location from Nanjing main road . Super easy to go to. Best if you arent too picky. Good for bag packers, a Friends. If you just need a place for good sleep. It definitely could work 👍 on maintaining the place more . A little beat up and will do wonders with some repair works. Perhaps more intense cleaning will help . Overall. For the price n location it's good enough for us!
