The location is good, the Andersen Museum is right at the door, and there is an Andersen statue at the door of the hotel;
The room is not big, but it is relatively new overall
The breakfast is quite satisfactory, with the typical ones, not bad
Parking is charged, just behind the hotel, the same price within 24 hours, 150DKK.
The biggest advantage: there is a kettle, and it is finally convenient to drink boiled water
Although the room is not very big, the hotel facilities are relatively new, the surrounding environment is very quiet, and there is a river next to it, you can go for a walk by the river. Walk about 15 minutes from the train station, recommend friends to go to Lego to play as a transit hotel.
The hotel is very unique, the rooms are neat and clean, the breakfast is great, the hotel has a unique and artistic appearance...
There is a huge activity room on the first floor of the hotel, where you can read books, watch dramas, and play table tennis🏓, which is great

The layout is very warm and clean, close to the beach, blowing the sea breeze in the summer, drinking beer outdoors, breathing fresh air, is a good choice. The hotel has boots and bicycles that can be used to walk along the beach and ride.
Spacious room and convenient parking
Check out is fast and convenient, the breakfast room is not bad, there are many people living.
Everyone is busy, but the quality of service can be guaranteed.
After parking, you need to record the license plate at the front desk
Place is great and it’s a ten minute walk from Legoland, I am disappointed however as the booking confirmation made no mention of a credit card surcharge so I could have come prepared with cash.
The hotel is very good, with a balcony, our orientation is to see the grass. The breakfast was great, and the breakfast room was great. Sitting by the window, looking at the river and the bridge outside the window, it was very pleasant

AArrowChanThe hotel is relatively old and there is still room for improvement in the cleanliness of the rooms. What is worthy of praise is that the room has a full theme and a large area, which is very suitable for a family. ^_^The hotel also has different play areas, allowing you to create different possibilities with lego
AAnonymous UserModern and nice setup as this hotel is quite new. Breakfast was good with typical danish offerings. Could do with more options to be called a 4 or 5 stars hotel. Location is 15mins walk to city square area. Nearby with Netto supermarket. Room is ok but without toiletries and room amenities to comment.
Basement parking but be WARNED that only park with hotel black floor label. As if driver can see the floor black label from driving position on first visit to the carpark. The carpark lots around the hotel entrance at carpark is NOT for guests. And you have to pay parking within 4 minutes in this carpark else you will be fined near to 120 Euro. Unlike all other carparks I visited in Denmark where I only pay upon exit for the hours parked. This is street parking underground! I wonder who can complete hotel check in 4 minutes including taking a lift up to the lobby reception. This carpark management is out to scam first timers to this place maybe to keep those carpark inspectors employed.
GGuest UserThe hotel is literally 5 mins walk from the airport. It was self check in, but always someone there to help. We got there late at night n was able to order food, which was really good. There are free shuttle buses on the hour, to the attractions. Just ask which side to catch the buses (it at the back). Definitely recommended. I would rather wait in the lounge area there, than the airport. Plenty to keep the kids occupied too, Lego, games, puzzles and books.
GGuest User酒店位置好 環境好 前台非常友好 早餐豐盛 入住體驗非常棒
Fantastic overall experience here, the building is historical with big windows, which also open completely 👍 Breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic, lots of options, both sweet and savory, and they even have a make-your-own pancake bar! 😍 (I mean who doesn’t love great breakfast)
Top location, almost everything in the city is reachable by foot (central station, museums, parks…)
Can definitely recommend 👍
XXINWe took Flexibus to Middelfart from Copenhagen for a change, the bus drop off point is only 300 meters away to the hotel. Fantasitic harbour and bridges views from hotel terrace. We have had our best time in Denmark biking along the water having rented bikes from hotel reception. Middelfart is kind of a city where you can get relaxed and be free from affliction, Severin hotel experience is definitely a tip of an ice cream, most desired and pleasant. Strongly recommended.
李李I went to the hometown of Andersen twice, and once I stayed at the hotel, but I wanted to book the hotel but didn't have a room. The hotel is located near the train station and is not far from the main attractions and restaurants. The hotel lobby is small, but the front desk lady is very warm. There is a cozy cafe next to the lobby. I can have a drink while waiting for the check-in or when I enter or leave the hotel. It feels good. The room is small but clean and the breakfast is good. Although the variety is not too much, it is delicious. In addition, there is a parking lot behind the hotel, which is great for our self-driving tour.
GGaileyBeeWe had booked this hotel as a family of 5 for a weekend away. We chose this style of room to give us more space. So there were 7 beds in total. It is a clean but basic hotel and I would say quite expensive, nearly £200 a night.
This did include a buffet breakfast, which was nice but limited hot drinks options. The staff were friendly and the lady replenished the food often.
There is plenty of parking.
AAnonymous UserThis is a resort style accommodation. Nice cozy lobby, good breakfast but can be better with more options. Room abit rundown and small. No lift if you not staying on ground floor. Carpark in front of lobby limited, but more free lots a minute distance away. No toiletries or room amenities to comment, do not expect a 4 or 5 stars hotel standard. But overall a good stay for a night or two.
GGuest UserIt's great. The seat is very convenient. You can reach the station in just a few steps.
It is a major relay station before going to Billund, and the bus station and train station are nearby. It is very convenient and saves time.
GGuest UserStayed in the Captain's class room. Absolutely no complains. Location was excellent, right smack in the middle of the Esbjerg, literally surrounded with supermarkets and cafes. Room (including the bathroom) was spacious, Wi-Fi speed was excellent, bed was comfortable. Perfect for business or vacations. Did not order the breakfast, hence, I am unable to comment on that.
