I really liked the location. If you go there by car, you need to have the skills of a professional driver. The view from the upper rooms is very beautiful. At the moment, until November 30, there is a renovation of the pool located in the hotel. But all hotel residents are accompanied by a pool located below and there is a beautiful view of the mountains. Very good photos of the lounge pool, I highly recommend. In terms of price, most likely average of all those presented in this area, in terms of quality, a very quiet hotel not far away, the nearest street, we went down to the cafe for 6-7 minutes, this should be taken into account if you are not a sports person. Then it will be difficult for you. Tomorrow, the average European American fried eggs sausages salad. Nothing extra. If you want a beautiful view, wake up in the morning, check into rooms above the first floor. Good travels to all

The view from the breakfast balcony was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. We asked for extra pancakes! The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. It is a short walk to the city centre - good location because it is quiet.

I travel solo and I prefer quiet and peaceful places where I can't hear the noise of the city or the music from the night clubs. So Nature Nest was just perfect for me. I liked everything. The room was light and spacious, a comfortable bad, a big bathroom with hot shower and a nice balcony made my stay cozy and pleasant. And it was so nice to hear the chirping of birds outside in the morning. It took me about 10 minutes to walk down to Ella and maybe a little more to walk up. And every time the walk in the nature was nice and pleasant. Sampat and Nadeeka were really helpful, they gave me many useful tips and good advice about Ella and Sri Lanka and I just had a great time talking with them. The food they cooked was really delicious and also they were so kind to give me a cooking lesson and even a ride when I needed it. I highly recommend the Nature Nest to anyone who values comfort and calmness. And I will be glad to come back if I have such a chance.

Beautiful hotel, great service, wonderful rooms, showers, bath, lounge areas. The desk area wasn't very private and we were right next door to the only other people there, so would have liked to know that it's open concept decks! Also, it's a long way away from the downtown of Ella if you would want to walk in, so something to be aware of when booking. However we stayed during a rainy time and loved our stay at this boutique hotel.

We had a meal here this evening and were looked after excellently by Lalith he could not have been more helpful. We had a selection of curries which were delicious. We followed these with desserts which were also very nice. The whole meal was attractively presented by Lalith. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

We visited this place today and were very pleased. Yes, it’s not a 5-star hotel, but you won’t find a better view of the Nine Arches Bridge, that’s a fact! You’ll have both morning and night views of this wonder, plus the opportunity to visit the bridge before the tourist crowds show up to photobomb your beautiful shots. The room itself is clean, the shower and toilet are separate, and there’s a lovely terrace with the best view. Yes, it takes 45 minutes to walk here from the town center, and I wouldn’t recommend doing it after sunset, but the journey is definitely worth it. For any of my friends visiting Ella, I’ll only recommend this place.

We had a wonderful night stay at blue ribbon homestay. Buddi was very kind and helpful. We had a beautiful room with the most incredible view! There is so much to see and go in Ella, we could have stayed 2 nights. A short stroll into town along the train track and an array of fab restaurants awaits you. We slept soundly and had a truly delicious breakfast. I’d definitely come back this is a great value beautifully run homestay.

We were as a family for two nights in this nice accommodation. The host is warm and nice and meets every wish. The rooms are super clean, the bathroom is a little rustic but you see that you have made a lot of effort. Very good breakfast, but you should pre-order it in the evening.

What's the most important thing in traveling? It is of course a high-quality accommodation for the hotel control. The EKHO hotel is on the edge of Eller town, not far from the main street, making it easy to travel. The characteristics of a good hotel are: clean, quiet, comfortable and modern, rich breakfast, and warm staff. Seems very ordinary ... However, isn't it very unusual to encounter a hotel without regret during the trip. ok, for the fun of travel, recommend it!

Дружелюбные хозяйки, очень добрые и приветливые, никаких проблем не было. Балкон с прекрасным видом на достопримечательности Еллы. Единственный минус это немного грязная постель и с крыши постоянно падала что то черное и по ночам там что то бегало) но это Шри ланка, проблемы с полом и потолком здесь распространены.

It is located on a hill side where the entry road is a bit too steep for vans to get up and down. If you are travelling with the private van, you may need to get off and to walk up to the hotel. it's not a too long walk but it's a steep one. Also, you will need to walk up to the stairs to your room and your toilet inside the room is not on the same level as your room so be prepared to have quite a lot of stairs walk. The hotel's balcony has a beautiful little Adam's Peak view and it's the best part of staying there. There is air-con for people looking for a hotel in Ella with this.

Very good location with friendly staffs.

The staff were very friendly, the location is ideal for exploring local sites and the roll out bed was the ideal way to enjoy amazing views from our balcony. Sadly the weather was rather misty throughout our 3 night stay but that was no fault of the hotel and they looked after us with great food in the restaurant, room service and delicious cookies at turn down time!

If you’re looking for a peaceful and tranquil stay then Moi Ella is the place! We had such a lovely & relaxing stay here. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive, we were greeted with some tea and delicious coconut pancake on arrival which was just what we needed after a long drive. The breakfast and dinner was also amazing. The hotel offers 360 views of the beautiful hills and mountains of Ella, and you can even head up to the top floor to catch sunrise - we did this one morning and it was absolutely breathtaking!! If you’re looking to stay in/near Ella then you might want to find somewhere closer to the town as this hotel is about a 30 minute drive out of town so you’ll need transport. We didn’t mind though as we loved how peaceful and secluded the hotel was :)

We recently stayed 4 nights after having seen the Resort advertised on Social Media and asking our Travel company to include it in our itinerary. From the first reveal from reception to our last sunrise vista from our Bee Hive, we were wowed by the breathtaking views which reach beyond the Lake in Udawalawa, from where I am now writing this review. We experienced almost every type of weather over the four days and even when it was pouring with rain the view was stunning. We really enjoyed the traditional welcome, and the Bee Hive cabanas with our private views. As I’d expected from the advert they are a bit querky but very comfortable with everything you need & the views are amazing. Service and food at the restaurant, where we ate a lot were very high and all of the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our local gin & tonics at the bar before dinner. Our four nights allowed us some downtime after a busy trip but there are interesting places to visit like the Dambatenne Tea Factory, Lipton’s Seat and Bambarakanda waterfall.

Jetwing Kaduruketha is amongst trees and fields surrounded by a mountain range which was an idyllic setting. The birdsong, butterflies and peacocks with their loud calls interrupting the peace all made for an amazing country experience. Wonderful attentive service, great food a swimming pool to cool off in all added much to make this stay a memorable one. The highlight was a taste of village food with fresh organic produce sourced from the property and surrounds cooked lovingly and expertly by the ‘aunties’ from the village made it even more special. Many thanks to all the staff from management to service who did everything possible to make our stay so very special

We came to SL in April 2024 for a short visit from NZ and visited Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, then stayed a night at Thuduwa Camp with another family. It was a wonderful experience for our families together at a peaceful, yet an attractive location. We booked two triple rooms, one a stand alone family unit and another one, converted to a quadruple. Rooms were simple, but a great specious design, bathrooms were great and clean too. I cannot go without saying how delicious the food was. We had fried rice, chicken devilled, vegetable chopsuey, onion & tomatoes salad and chili paste for dinner. We loved it, so delicious and kids kept eating. We were offered many options for breakfast, we stopped at string hoppers, red rice, fish curry, coconut sambol (the best I had in SL), dhaal curry, and potato & chili tempered (again the best I had in SL), we loved it so much and were exceptional. Special mention is needed for Iroshan and Hasaranga who looked after us so well, very professional and were so caring, thank you again boys.. Keep doing what you are doing!! Highly recommend for families.. All the very best...

Drama! Drama! Drama! I was going to give them 2 star review but then the last minute drama made me change my mind. To be frank, the property is great in terms of location, design, room space, amenities, etc. Surprisingly, against all the bad reviews, we felt the food was great mostly except for one or two dishes. The restaurant staff were great and the food spread was thoughtful and tasted good. They were able to get some good picnic bag for our early morning safari as well. Rest....was the worst I have seen in all my years of travel. The management needs to rethink the staffing. Not one part of the stay was enjoyable because of the issues in hotel. 4 ppl at reception counter, but check in took its own sweet time. Then no coffee sachets in room, so we requested few and they said they will bring. We reminded after few hours and they said they will arrange, only to know from a housekeeping staff that they don't have stock of coffee because of high occupancy. Then the very rude and odd behaviour by pool attendant...refused to give us pool towels and limited to one per family (rest to get from room ourselves )and speaking very rudely. We went to front desk and asked and they said they will provide and pool attendant refused to listen to them as well. The next day similar issues with another family and then we realized that they don't have enough stock for the peak season for both room and pool towels and this recycling. We had booked through a travel agent, so apparently he had spoken to them and they were extra caring about us the second night. However, they felt they had to take revenge, so they held us hostage for an hour at the parking lot when we checked out because of payment issue between them and the travel agent. The travel agent apparently held up payment due to the issue, however they waited for us to get ready and leave the lobby to point out the issue and not earlier. Definitely do NOT recommend this place to stay.

Our visit to the facility with our Australian group was nothing short of extraordinary! We were thrilled to enjoy five amazing rooms, perfectly situated just steps away from the sanctuary. The hospitality was off the charts—every moment felt carefully curated and incredibly attentive. Every meal was a delightful. The amenities truly blew us away, and everything was incredibly accessible, making our stay even more enjoyable. While the gym could use a little upgrade, it barely dented the excitement of our experience. From the instant we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere wrapped around us like a warm hug, continuing all the way to our check-out. It was an unforgettable experience bursting with warmth and exhilaration!

Overall good, the child pays 50 dollars a person to the store. Remember to turn off all the lights when you leave the room, otherwise it will be all bugs when you go back at night! The 6 rooms that day were all Chinese. The boss was very enthusiastic. All the food and drink were included. I drank more than ten bottles of Coke for dinner and thought that there was an additional charge. The next day's safari, the boss asked for 100 dollars per person, which was much more expensive than the outside. For convenience, the boss ordered it. The next morning, at 5:30, the boss will bring a sandwich to drink, and end up enjoying it at the beach.

Wow, what an incredible experience. We booked a private safari with our stay at Big Game Yala and the entire experience was excellent from the moment we arrived. The check in was in a military style tent, and we received a friendly welcome. Our tent was neat and I couldn't believe contained its own private toilet and a shower with hot water!! We got a driver and guide in the safari for just the 2 of us, and they were fabulous at pointing out animals. The same guide took us for a nightime walk, as well as a morning walk to see more of the local wildlife which was included in the cost. On the safari we saw a leopard, several elephants, mongoose, deer, monkeys, exotic birds, hares, crocodiles, and more. Dinner was served as if it was a five star restaurant but in the open under the stars, and each table had its own candle to see by. It was a 3 course meal which was delicious! And in the trees around us were fireflies. It was so cool. They also provided teas and coffees and breakfast. The staff were so nice and made sure we were comfortable. I'd highly recommend Big Game Yala! It was our favourite experience during our Sri Lanka trip.
