Basement car park is available at RM2 per 24 hours with multiple entry, need to validate the card at reception counter. Buffet breakfast is quite nice with variety of local style food like nasi goreng Kampung, ketupat, nasi lemak, roti canai, roti jala, nasi dagang, rendang, laksa, kuih melayu and etc. Several desert, bread and fruits are available as well. In overall, it was a good stay for my family.

Our three-night stay exceeded expectations. We were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, and particularly by the exceptional service provided by receptionist Kai Jun. His professionalism and composure when handling a challenging guest were commendable. Upon arrival, our room was not yet ready, requiring a 20-minute wait. Kai Jun kept us consistently updated on the room's status, ensuring a smooth and comfortable wait in the lobby. While the hotel is relatively new and exhibited a slight paint odor, the use of fragrance minimized its impact. The culinary offerings were a highlight, with both the food and mocktails proving to be exceptionally delicious, complementing Ipoh's renowned food scene. The swimming pool was notably clean, and our spacious city-view room provided a stunning panorama. We highly recommend requesting this view. The staff's attentiveness was evident throughout our stay. They consistently greeted us warmly, adding a delightful touch to our daily experience. Room service was prompt and courteous, although we found it more efficient to request additional amenities, such as pillows and blankets, directly from the staff on our floor rather than via the often-busy phone line. One area for improvement is the parking gantry, which experienced occasional glitches, causing delays for several vehicles. Despite this minor inconvenience, we would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The hotel located at Ipoh central area. Just 5 to 10 min drive to famous Palo 101, chicken rice and others attractions located at downtown Ipoh. The hotel are well maintained and provided few free facilities for hotel guess such as swimming pool and Gym room. Beside that, there is one very good cafe located at hotel lobby which can for us to relax after dinner. They also provide free parking for hotel guess at basement.

This is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6. As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day. Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator. I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad. Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

Everything about the hotel was very good including the receptionist, the room, the cleanliness, the location, and the reasonable price. Will repeat again if i come to Ipoh next time🫶🏻👍🏻.

The hotel is well located near the Padang and a few minutes from old town. The staff was very courteous. Nice view of the city from the 12floor reception area. The hotel and the rooms are very neat and clean. The hotel lacked facilities like a gym or pool. Moreover there is a charge of you need extra pillows (rm 5.40). No hand towels provided in the bath rooms.

Located in the heart of Taiping. Walking distance to Taiping Lake Garden. 10mins grab car distance to Taiping Night Safari. The room is spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel is considered quite good with this price and the location is quite near to the town. Moreover, they are providing breakfast, even though they don't refill the milk and the choice of food is not that much. But with the price given, I think it is reasonable. Oh.. one more weak point of this hotel is that the surrounding areas are quite dark and silent, and there is no convenience shop within walking distance.

Firstly, quite dissapointed because we were allocated at Block C and the room was different from the pics provided when booking (no fantastic view, no bathtub like shown in the booking). Plus our room facing the city and there's ”birds” loitering ard the balcony. There are 3 blocks and the block C given to us itself quite empty and scary too. When we walk ard the hotel area at night can see only few units are occupied. Even the atmosphere at Block C were eerie luckily no ghost of cos if not we would check out immediately. We dont even dare open the curtains cos too eerie after knowing not many occupants/guests at Block C. My husband told me he actually asked to upgrade room to Block A few days before we check in, but was informed no vacancy at Block A. But when we check in, we asked to change to Block A but was informed need to top up rm250 per night because Block A. So conflicting of information. Plus, they should just fill up visitors to Block A or B, so it wont be too scary. Secondly, the toilet bowls are not that clean with yellow stains. Although, we were surprised with the ”birthday” bed decoration and ”birthday cake”, the atmosphere at Block C is eerie itself. Definitely not coming back.

The hotel really lives up to its description as an oasis away from the city. I loved how it was located away from the hustle and bustle of the central city area, amidst beautiful nature. The hotel had several unique amenities such as the fish pool, meditation cave and crystal cave which were amazing to be be in. We booked a lake villa which had its own hot tub and private pool, as well as a nice balcony with a scenic view of the lake. All staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, and we also enjoyed dinner at Jeff’s Cellar - a mind-blowing experience with a delicious 10-course menu in a gorgeous 260-million-year-old limestone cave.

a great stay at Meru suites. huge rooms, friendly staff that will go the extra mile for a service for customers. great team, clean rooms as well. Quiet at night making it a wonderful stay. Only downside is the location as it is situated a 15mins drive away from town, but for such a wonderful stay I would not mind to come back here again.

To our delight, we were also offered complimentary afternoon tea and light snacks - a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The room was impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The toilet was spotless, with no unpleasant odors, which is always a big plus. Stayed here for 5 nights. Wifi in room totally do not exist. Have to go to the lobby for wifi. Was told that they having wifi problems. Can log in but no internet. Very basic hotel facilities. Stay here if you are taking advantage of the location.

Satisfying and the best choice to stay here. The staff here are very friendly, very helpful and customer friendly. The service here is very efficient and always our top choice. Highly recommend to those out there if they want a comfortable stay in Ipoh. Many halal and delicious restaurants and hotspots around this hotel. Close to highway PLUS access. It's fun and worth it.

The bathroom still has someone's trousers hanging in it, and we were informed that the maintenance staff would assist us in opening the closed safe deposit box. However, the maintenance guy didn't show up. Additionally, the breakfast was lousy. Beside this, everything else is okay. The room is facing the lakeview, but due to the low floor, we could hear the sound of motorbikes

Nice and cozy place..friendly staff..simple and fast procedure during check in & check out..delicious food served during breakfast and dinner..this hotel near Taman Tasik & Taiping Zoo (tourist attraction) and also restaurants..more over, it have a non smoking policy and will give more convenient from the smoke or smell..have a pool that suitable for kids and you will be able to see Bukit Larut, trees and also Lutong (one of many type monkeys) near the area.

Room was big and spacious. Clean. Just a pity that we only stayed for a night. Drove to Taiping lake and other places which were not too far away. Nice eating places nearby too.

Our family booking for a group of 4 so we took 2 single rooms. Location is not bad; a bit secluded thus the traffic to get to the hotel was light. The rooms were decent; they met the requirement given the room rate. Our rooms didn’t come with breakfast but we decided to pay on our own. The coffeehouse was nice; typical local breakfast selections. Took some time to check the pool area which was in a semi outdoor setup while still protecting you from rains and thunderstorms. Overall it was a decent place to stay for a short, family-related trip to Taiping.

Just a simple, good and calm place. Easily access to self laundry for 24h. A mart was just beside the hotel and serve for 24h as well. So, do not worry if you need something urgent, the facility just close to your hotel. The staffs are super great. Seriously, we have been treated well and all the staffs are super helpful. I could give 10 stars for it. Just need to improvise the cleanliness. I love it!

First impression mcm nice gak hotel nie. Ok xpe. Jom pegi. Tapi parking pulak xde dedicated..kena parking dkt tepi² jlan. Dah nk check in kata bilik belum ready lagi.. what? Dh pukul 3 lebih kot apa yg tak ready? OMG ! OK fine dh dapat kunci bilik. Naik pegi bilik.. masuk² tgok katil pun senget , kaki patah. Nk tido pun macam terjunam kepala .. ***ruit! Call lobby minta panggil maintenance check.Maintenance pun smpai diorg angkat katil, bg bdiri mmg betul la kaki patah.. diorg nk gerudi apa smua, nk psg kaki lain. Tp barang tak cukup diorg kluar tinggl kan katil yg bdiri tu dgn tiba² ja jatuh gedebomm! Nasib xde anak kecik that time. Kalau ada mahu accident trhempap katil. Mmg spoil gilerr..nmpk mcm lama diorg nk menukang , minta tukar bilik lain sbb kita nk healing² smbil wfh kan... Tu pun mcm nk xnk bg tukar bilik... Duk hmm hmm...bilik xde kosong la apa la....ape benda laa service....at last dpt bilik lain.. tp haha..sebelah bilik yg awal td....bg la bilik vip ke apa ke ..sebb dh buang masa customer...ok xpe la bilik yg bru nie katil okay...tp tu lah ekon pulak tak kena...lindung dri dari dinding..bfast pun asal boleh ja...not so fancy n small portion...sy pun boleh beli kalau bnyk tu..huhuhu sekian.
