When I picked up the car, I didn't get the model I'd reserved; it was just a similar model. It was indeed new and clean, though. The only inconvenience was having to call the airport to arrange a pickup, but the shop was very close. I'd definitely choose this service again if I were to visit Fukuoka again.

The car was quite new and in excellent condition. When I picked it up, I was accompanied by the staff. I carefully inspected the entire vehicle and took some photos of the scratches, which I sent to them for their records as requested. The staff was also very patient and polite, though it would have been much better if their English skills had improved. When I returned the car, the receptionist was also very friendly and courteous. The vehicle inspection was quick and easy, completing it in just a few minutes and confirming that there were no issues. This was a truly pleasant rental experience. HM Car Rental is truly excellent! I will definitely choose HM for my next road trip to Japan!

They were friendly and professional, and were incredibly patient throughout the entire process, from consultation to car pickup to return. They communicated seamlessly in Mandarin, making for a truly reassuring and warm experience. The car was also well-maintained, clean, and tidy. There's a pickup service at Fukuoka Airport. I sent a voice message via KakaoTalk from the airport, and a staff member answered immediately. Even without calling, it seemed like there was a staff member at the free airport pickup location based on my flight arrival and departure times.
We picked up the car quickly, and although we arrived two hours early, we were able to extend the pickup time by paying 1,100 yen per hour, which was the same as the return time.
I asked if I could use KEP, but they said no. Our toll for the two-day trip was around 3,800 yen. I haven't compared it to KEP, so I'm not sure about the price difference.
We filled up the tank at a gas station within 3 kilometers of the rental car return location and were told to bring the receipt. Initially, we exceeded our mileage limit, which felt like we'd lost 2-3 liters. (I thought it would be okay to calculate the per-liter rate. It came out similar to what I expected.)
Overall, the staff at the counter were friendly and helpful. The staff member who explained how to operate the car and the navigation system when I picked it up was very kind. I had no issues and was very satisfied.
The car was also checked for minor scratches in advance, which was very convenient. The car drove well and was clean. There was no cigarette smell.
There were three of us traveling, and we saved about half the cost of renting a car compared to the train and transportation costs we had anticipated. It also saved time and was convenient to stop by the supermarket here and there to carry our luggage.
I'll definitely rent a car again for my next trip with three or more people.
I'm very satisfied.

The car is easy to pick up with taking bus to the location. The owners and workers can speak Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese. It's a relief to us that they speak our language so it's a breeze for the car pick up. They even send us to the international airport when we return the car which is convenient.

The pickup and return process was very convenient and good. It was easy to use.
This small company is run by young Chinese people, and judging by their friendly and sincere attitude, it seems to have great potential for growth.
I was especially relieved that Trip.com kept in touch via KakaoTalk.
However, I frequently rent cars in Japan and speak Chinese, so I'm overall satisfied. However, for unfamiliar customers, it would be helpful if they provided more detailed explanations on-site, beyond KakaoTalk. I would definitely use them again if the opportunity arises.
