The car was a bit old when I picked it up at the airport, but it was in good working order and clean. It had 130,908 kilometers on it. I was contacted via WhatsApp the day before pickup. The pickup location was clear, and I could ask any questions via WhatsApp. The return process was simple and smooth; I chose my own hotel in Shin-Hashi. The only downside was that renting an ETC card was very expensive, 600 yen per day. For Toyota rentals, adding an ETC card cost 330 yen per trip (regardless of the number of days).

This was my second time booking a rental car to drive in Japan through Trip.com and renting a car from a Chinese company in Japan. To be honest, the first time was good, but the second time was even more impressive. The car was exactly as described and the exact model. Before the day of pickup, someone contacted us through the channel we specified. We were asked to read the contract in advance. On the actual day of pickup at Kansai Airport, the pickup point was clearly stated. The person who delivered the car provided good information. The company took photos of any previous scratches on the car and immediately informed us that they were the original spots. /// On the day of returning the car, the person who came to pick up the car was even more lovely. He picked up the car in front of the apartment we rented. We had a minor accident involving the car, so we immediately informed the company on the date of the accident. What really impressed us was that they asked if we were safe, even though we had told them it was only a minor accident involving the car. This showed how much they cared. The car had bumper damage and fell off. We had no other party involved. The car rental company collected the money in advance for the damage and let us claim through the insurance that we had purchased ourselves. When we returned to Thailand, it was very easy to make a claim because we didn't buy insurance directly from the rental company, but bought it through Trip, so we had to pay for it ourselves first. Everything went smoothly. We just had to take photos of the damage and request all payment documents for the claim.

I rented a car with Be Kobe, and overall, I had a great experience. The car was in good condition, with no issues whatsoever, making it a comfortable drive throughout the trip. Most importantly, the price was affordable, making it a great value.
The staff were also very helpful and provided comprehensive advice from pick-up to return. I was very impressed.
