The Spitfires | The Deers Head
May 10, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Belfast
The Spitfires are a British band known for their high-energy performances, sharp melodies, and dynamic sound. Originally formed in 2012, the group quickly gained a reputation for their distinctive style, combining punchy guitar riffs, infectious rhythms, and socially conscious lyrics. Their early releases caught the attention of both critics and fans, earning them a loyal following across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Over the years, The Spitfires released a series of well-received albums -
Response (2015), A Thousand Times (2016), Year Zero (2018), Life Worth Living (2020) and Play For Today (2022)
. The band toured extensively, building a reputation for their electrifying live shows and ability to connect with audiences through their raw, honest music. Their songs have always reflected a deep connection to the themes of personal and social change, often exploring the complexities of modern life.
After a decade of working together, the original line-up announced they were to split up in 2022, bowing out at their final performance at a sold out Electric Ballroom, London in February of that year.
But the band’s story is far from over.
In 2025, The Spitfires will be reforming with an exciting new line-up, ready to share fresh material with fans old and new. With a renewed sense of purpose and a bold new direction, the band is poised to make their return with a sound that promises to be just as powerful and relevant as ever.

Located at the heart of Belfast's Titanic Quarter, the legendary Harland & Wolff Headquarters and Drawing Offices is now the world's most authentic Titanic hotel, offering an unforgettable experience.
Described as the 'Cape Canaveral of its time', the Harland & Wolff Headquarters building was once the nerve centre of the largest shipyard in the world. The entire White Star Line fleet was designed in the Drawing Offices and constructed on the slipways outside, including the legendary liners

The magnificent dual Victorian Drawing Offices, with their three-storey high barrel-vaulted ceilings, are the only surviving example of this type of shipyard architecture in the world.
Titanic Quarter is the authentic home of RMS Titanic’s legend and this is where her memory lives on in the fabric of Belfast’s maritime heritage. Adjacent to the world class visitor attraction

Ecologies of Care: CHOICE Mobilising Health Assets within the Arts | Clifton House
May 15, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Belfast
What can arts spaces and organisations do to be more inclusive to ‘invisible’ populations?
While access to (and participation in) the arts can be life changing, many people find the path blocked. Evidence suggests that people with severe mental illness tend to be forgotten when social inclusion policies are written by organisations and put into practice. CHOICE seeks to improve the lives of people with long-term mental health problems by tackling the fundamental health and social inequalities they experience.
With guest speker Aisling Kennedy, who joined Réalta (formerly Waterford Healing Arts Trust) in 2021 as Project Coordinator and Curator. In this role, she manages the Iontas Arts and Mental Health programme, the exhibitions programme, and the University Hospital Waterford (UHW) Art Collection. Réalta is a national resource organisation dedicated to developing arts + health in Ireland. Locally, it delivers the extensive Waterford Healing Arts programme at UHW.
Previously, Aisling worked with the Arts in Health team at Children’s Health Ireland. She holds an MA in Cultural Policy and Arts Management from University College Dublin and a BA in English Literature and Art History. She is also currently Deputy Chair of Arts + Health Coordinators Ireland, a support network for professionals managing arts + health programmes across the country.
With expertise in arts programming, curation, and project management, Aisling is passionate about making the arts accessible and meaningful in healthcare environments.
We seek to explore in this symposium how the arts could be more engaged in addressing the health disparities of this population.

VOID TEMPLE | Belfast
May 18, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Belfast
VOID TEMPLE
This is a solo journey experienced in group where you will be asked to surrender any agenda, goals or expectations.
Where you will be invited into a hypnotic, trance like state, accesssing the Dark through matter, as the vibrational field of everything.
Guided by your intuition and deep listening and moving from the subtle, quiet place within you that knows how to dance and weave with life.
This is a space where you are free from the shackles of form, from your personalities needs to be accepted or validated - Freedom from having to be anything, or do anything.
This journey can be an initiation into the Dark, the path of the non dual, a pathway to accessing, knowing and embodying the source of all life, of our essence, of where we came from and where we will go next.
In our temple we will anchor a somatic reference point for the Dark in our bodies as a place of deep rest and resource - so that you can use this as a tool in your everyday life - to come back to, to come home to.
We would love for you to join us.
WHAT IS A TEMPLE?
“A temple is a landscape of the soul”
a place where we can gather and celebrate what it is to be alive, what it is to be human, what it is to connect - heart to heart, soul to soul.
Temples are ritual spaces that invite embodied awareness through authentic connection.
That call upon the soul, power and spirit of the land to move through our group body and show us the wisdom that's lies within us all.
Together through group processes of initiation, reflection and radical honesty we are offered a new paradigm of relating and a truer sense of how we are showing up in life.
Love Temple
offers monthly, guided temple gatherings in Dublin and Belfast that open an invitation to all humans who are either new to this concept or are already experienced Templars.
We also offer more advanced temple gatherings and weekend immersions for those wishing to deepen their journey further.
Authenticity, vulnerability, courage and community are at the core of all of our offerings.
What a temple experience might offer :
• Invitations to practice body & being awareness with self and others.
• A deeper portal of awareness recognising unconscious patterns and shadows of relating that can keep us feeling stuck in areas of life.
By recognising them, we create opportunities to take aligned action in our lives and relationships.
• A space where you can discover your the forgotten connection between Sex and Spirit, Earth and Body.
• Explorations into somatic awareness - how to listen, trust and follow the somatic language of your body.
• Wheel of Consent and Embodied Boundary Practices - your yes and your no, asking for what you want, giving and receiving ‘No’. Understanding the differing dynamics of exchange.
• Deep and authentic sharing: how to listen, how to communicate with radical honesty.
• Playful intimacy and sensual exploration with self and/or others.
• Non attachment connecting.
• Facilitated practices and rituals to drop into your emotional and sensual depth.
• Alchemising the potent power of shame into fuel for love. Being seen and taking up space.
• Embodying group flow and understanding dynamics.
THIS IS A SPACE OF PERMISSION
At no point during the evening will you be asked to to anything that you don’t want to do.
Everything is welcome and nothing needs to happen.
In every moment your level of particpation is up to you.
Instead of forcing you to open, we invite you to learn how to embody yourself so much that you know when it’s right to open and when not.
To know your yes and your no. To know how to lsiten to and communicate the somatic mother tongue language of your body.

Laura Conlon has a warped sense of self. She is her own worst critics (because they are her doppelgangers who also live in Belfast). Despite this, she’s going to push herself out of her comfort zone and attempt to connect with the people around her.
As she undertakes an outward inward look at herself, she brings everyone, if nowhere else, forward in time.
How can you connect with anyone when you think too much about who you are to them?
Doors 7:45pm, show 8pm.
