"Excellent location! It’s super convenient for catching FlixBus or trains from the central station. Situated right at the crossroads of the New and Old Towns, there are tons of supermarkets, restaurants, and bars nearby. If you're feeling lazy, you can even grab a self-service pizza from the hotel lobby (around 9-11 euros). The lobby itself is great, with many guests socializing and dining there. Most importantly, the price is incredibly good value for money! The city tax is also very low, making it much more affordable than hotels in the Netherlands or France."

"The Sapphire House Antwerp, Autograph Collection, boasts an excellent location. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the Central Station and just a 3-minute stroll to the city center's pedestrian and luxury shopping streets, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and getting around. The hotel is a converted old building, and I've always loved its design. This was my 'nth' stay here, but this time, the experience fell a little short.
The main issue was a sewage smell emanating from the bathroom. I suspect it's due to unresolved plumbing issues in the old building. I occasionally noticed a similar odor in the elevator area, which was a bit off-putting. Aside from that, the rest of the room was well-maintained, clean, and the bedding was comfortable.
If it's your first time in Antwerp, I would still recommend it for its location and design, but be prepared for potential odor issues that can sometimes come with older buildings. I hope the hotel addresses this problem in the future."

Our junior suite was spacious, and the large sofa made the room feel especially comfortable. The huge shower was another highlight, but the real standout was the memory foam mattress. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable and made the stay feel quite special.
The room rate itself was attractive, although several extras were charged separately. Parking and breakfast are understandable, but €2 for a capsule of rather average coffee felt excessive. I am not saying Starbucks serves exceptional coffee, but at least it is a recognised brand. Charging €7 to use the pool was also unusual, although it was at least available for guests who wanted it.
Overall, this was still a five-star experience for us. The spacious room, excellent location and, above all, the fantastic bedding made the stay memorable."

"The location is very good. It is just across the overpass from the hotel to the Antw-Berchem train station and 5 minutes to the central train station. The room is a bit small. The air conditioner in my room did not start at night and I didn't find it until the next day. But the staff came to fix it quickly. The breakfast is quite rich and there are plenty of parking spaces. Google navigation can't guide to the hotel, it can only guide to the other side of the road, which needs to be improved."

"A beautifully presented hotel but the area felt a little dirty. Straight across from the train station with transport galore right outside (tram, metro, bikes, scotters and more!) Chinatown next door and the zoo as well however this area feels unloved and dirty. Walking down towards Meir and onwards to Grote Markt you see the real Antwerp with beautiful ornate buildings, markets and shops. Nighttime is when the whole place feels magical. The hotel room was clean and comfortable in size. Bathroom was lovely and the beds were fairly comfortable but the room was hot. The tv casting didn’t work and we could get any of the uk channels which was disappointing. The gym is ok - not massively well equipped and the pool is so cold. Sauna and steam good although not that hot in either. Recommend as a one night pit stop but wouldn’t want to be there for longer than a couple of days."

"It was a unique hotel. Green surroundings, yet right in the middle of the city. We had high tea, which was very good. The only minor drawback was that the sweets were all white chocolate mousse, so a bit more variety in the sweet options would have made it even better for us. Something like a macaron or a praline, for example, but otherwise, no complaints.
Breakfast was amazing. I'm not sure if I'd say it was worth 60 euros per person, but it was very good.
The service was also excellent. They even walked us to our room. We were given an accessible room, though I'm not sure why, but an adjustable bed wasn't a bad thing at all."

"Hilton felt like a really good 4 star hotel, the staff is really nice and welcoming, they are also very helpful and respectful.
Rooms are dated and tired but still up to standard with all the needed amenities.
We were upgraded to an executive room on the top floor and it was a great experience with the rooftop lounge views and services exclusive to the executive rooms.
Breakfast was awesome with good salty choices and okay savory choice, but everything was of good quality.
Overall a great experience in the dead heart of Antwerp old city."

"Solo traveler here, stayed at this hostel and it was hands down the best I've ever stayed in!
* The common areas and hallways are even more stylish and clean than a regular hotel.
* Towels and earplugs are provided for free by the bed.
* The lockers are quite large, and you can lock them with your room key, no need for an extra padlock.
* The curtains are very substantial, offering excellent privacy.
* Each bed has both an outlet and a USB port.
* There's a shelf above the bed, perfect for placing your belongings.
* The beds are sturdy and don't creak at all.
* Separate bathrooms and toilets, and the shower rooms are spacious.
* You get free access to a coffee machine and a gym.
* Laundry facilities and a copier are also available.
* The tap water is drinkable.
* There's an ALDI supermarket right next door.
It's about a 25-minute tram ride from the main square, but everything else is so fantastic that I didn't mind the location at all. For 4000 yen, you'd be hard-pressed to find a hostel of this quality. If you're coming to Antwerp, you absolutely *must* stay here!"

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It is situated very close to Antwerp Central Station, which makes transportation extremely convenient, especially if you are arriving by train or planning to travel around Belgium.
The surrounding area is calm, safe, and very pleasant to walk around. Within just a short walk, you can find many lovely streets, shops, restaurants, and cafés. I also loved that it is close to Antwerp Zoo, which is one of the oldest zoos in Europe and definitely worth visiting. The neighborhood has a very charming atmosphere, and simply walking around the area felt like part of the experience.
The hotel itself was very comfortable and well maintained. The room was neat, nicely arranged, and provided a relaxing environment after a busy day in the city. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt quiet and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
The only small thing that could be improved is the heating. It would have been even better if the room heater could make the room warmer, especially during colder weather. Aside from that, everything else about my stay was great.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antwerp. The combination of the excellent location, peaceful environment, and comfortable rooms makes it a great place to stay while exploring the city.

Very close to the Central Station, just a 5-minute walk. However, the hotel's Wi-Fi had some issues; I could connect but there was no internet. The room was also a bit old. Overall, it was okay, nothing special but not bad either.

Anonymous UserReally like this serviced apartment a lot, with a nice aesthetic design. Room was large enough for me (1 bed apartment with sofa, apparently the sofa is given as a room upgrade over the room type I booked so it can be a little misleading when booking). I stayed at Quellin Apartment block so it requires a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but the apartments in Quellin seem to be larger than the ones in the Frankrijklel block. Having heavy lugagge will not be convenient if staying in Quellin block, given there are steps between both blocks and the wheelchair lift has yet to be repaired. Towels, tea/coffee and toilet rolls are free to take from Level 1 Essentials room. If you can’t remember your PIN code, you can use the Numa app to open the entrance and room doors, just that the PIN code is still required for the lifts. It will be more ideal if room slippers are provided. Overall, I had a comfortable stay especially given it is near many supermarkets (Albert Heijn, Jumbo; while Lidl is just downstairs), steps away from Opera underground tram station, walkable to Antwerpen-Centraal Station, and walkable to Groenplaats.

The view from the window was nice, and the room was a comfortable size. The bathroom was clean, with good water temperature and pressure. The only minor issue was that the hallway lights are motion-activated and sometimes a bit slow to respond. (Some photos are a bit blurry because they're screenshots from a video.)

De locatie nabij het station in Turnhout naast het spoor gaf ons eerst twijfels, maar het geluid van de voorbij rijdende trein is nauwlijks hoorbaar. Heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, er was ruime keuze.
