"The location is fantastic! Highly recommended! Especially if your luggage is super heavy, as the hotel is right in the atrium after you get off the train and take the cable car – incredibly close, you can walk right to the hotel without dragging your heavy luggage! The breakfast is also very generous; I recommend the kiwi! They also have pancakes, croissants, and European-style bread. The croissants can even have pistachio jam inside – a treat for pistachio jam lovers!"

"We love to be apart hotel style, have fun, fridge and fog . beautiful view, and super close to the center and lake, from the beach walking. And it gives free stay per day to walk public transport. We save a lot. Super recommends that hosting and we will certainly return more times."

"I stayed at Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac for just one night, but it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect—right by the lake with beautiful views. The food was delicious, and overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely love to return for a longer stay next time!"

"The room was very clean, but overall had the basic necessities needed to get by. There were no charging ports by the bed, which meant we had to charge our phones by the sink (an active water outlet) which was a health and safety hazard. The bed was rock solid, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The receptionists were really polite and made sure we had everything we needed. We saw a show at the LAC Lugano that evening which was really lovely and the hotel was conveniently located for this, but was quite tricky to find when coming from Central Lugano. The bathroom was separated into a shower and a toilet, where the sink was in the bedroom which was odd. The toilet didn’t have a lock on the door which lacked privacy and was more like a wardrobe style door, where you could hear everything going on behind it. The shower was a see-through glass door which again, lacked privacy. There were 3 coathangers to hang clothes and not a lot of storage space. The room overlooked the pool which was really lovely, and had a blackout blind to block out light in the morning. We could control the lights from a button beside our bed, which was helpful when going to sleep. However, the shower light wouldn’t turn off at night which was irritating, as when we tried to take the key card that activated the lights out, it cancelled out the power and we couldn’t charge our phones. Overall, this stay was alright for one night but we couldn’t stay here for a week. The negatives outweighed the positives massively."

"Camera molto mal tenuta, moquettes sporchissima ,ragnatela in bagno vicino al bidet che è rimasta per tutto il nostro soggiorno pertanto le pulizie non sono fatte a dovere Inoltre la reception rimane sguarnita dalle ore 20:00. Il servizio colazioni gestito solamente da due persone ,insomma forse sarebbe il caso di aumentare il personale. Posto auto a fortuna. Colazione buona staff molto gentile.L’albergo si salva per la bella piscina."

"If you are booking a luxury hotel in Lugano, there is no other option for me. While it’s not right in the middle of the City, it’s in a nice and quiet area and the 10-15 minute walk to the city is great for settling the stomach after eating to much pizza. The grounds are simply stunning, the views are amazing, the breakfast buffet is not amazing but very good (Although the woman who seat you could smile a bit more, all the other staff at breakfast are great). The private Lido is awesome. I will never stay at another hotel in Lugano for our annual summer trip, it has won my loyalty for life. "

"The staff was excellent and responded to our every request and need. The breakfast matched the level of staff support. It was sumptuous and worth the money. And the pool and gym were also great. The pool was warm and perfect."

"Convenient location within 10 minutes walk from the train station and bus terminal. Local bus stops just outside the train station and can get to Lugano Centro and Monte Bre easily. The hotel is located up the slope facing the train station. There's a view of the train station from our room but it's not nosiy once the wooden doors of the balcony are closed."
