Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room has a full kitchen and grocery store close by. American, Italian and Russian restaurants all within short walking distance. Dolphin was exceptionally good. Swim coach was excellent with a good transition to coral reef snorkeling after a few pool sessions. Definitely try and travel outside official Chinese holidays as it can get very busy in the neighborhood

Our family trip to Atlantis Sanya was just as wonderful as we had hoped. However, what truly made this trip unforgettable was not just the hotel itself but the incredible service of our butler, Arif. Throughout our stay, Arif took care of every little detail, anticipating our needs before we even mentioned them. Thanks to his thoughtful and attentive service, both the adults and children in our family had a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. His kindness and dedication went beyond just good service—it was genuine care, and we deeply appreciated it. Atlantis is undoubtedly a fantastic hotel for families, but to be honest, if we could have Arif as our butler again, we would return without hesitation.His exceptional service made our trip even more special. One minor drawback was the lack of Korean restaurants nearby, so bringing some food for the adults might be a good idea for Korean visitors. Other than that, everything about our trip was absolutely perfect!

A great position in mid town with great and various types of breakfast. The facilities are a little bit out-dated but under good maintenance. Cleanliness is professional and effecienncy. Suitable for family travel.

Stayed at the family suite for 3 adults. The room was very new, moden, clean, neat, and very spacious. The views from the room were marvellous. The Guest Relationship Officer Miss Tan Wen Xian was very friendly and even gave us a packet of goodies bag which contained yummy Hainan Island tidbits. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient and near a mall. The mall has shops and restaurants. Directly opposite the Hotel is Terminal 1, which has a Hong Kong cafe. The food at the cafe was very good. Highly recommend to stay here.

Highly recommend this hotel! The location is amazing - a short 5-minute walk to the beach, surrounded by great food options, and a Starbucks conveniently located across the street. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely, with a bathtub and a quiet, cozy atmosphere. The pool was a great bonus! A special shout-out to Amy, our wonderful cleaning lady. She did an amazing job keeping our room spotless and was always so friendly and professional. Thank you!

Service of the hotel was very good even though they don’t speak English, they assist you through translation app willing to help. Especially person on the front desk helped us a lot. Food is delicious, rich variety. Room is clean. You can walk to the beach. It takes 5-10 mins. It’s near to the summer and pineapple malls. There is a free shuttle bus to duty free mall. You can take info from the front desk. We enjoyed our stay.

We've stayed at pearl river garden for 3 nights, overall, we have enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming from the day we arrived. (Which we value this more than anything) Special shout out to Jim, who has made the stay very memorable. The room is clean, though not very spacious, but it was ok for us, a family of four. Great location, probably one of the best locations in the area, easy access to the beach, very family friendly. The only drawback, if there is any, would be the pungent smell that hits me every time I walk in the room, I'm guessing it's the cleaning chemical they use around the hotel rooms. All in all, Thank you Jim and everyone in the hotel for looking after us during the stay, will definitely recommend anyone who wishes to stay in the area. This is a geniuen review made after the departure (not some awkward on the spot review). I hope this is useful to others.

The hotel was decent but didn’t quite have a grand or true 5-star feel. The room was spacious and clean, but the view was just okay, as the jetty somewhat disrupted it.

Stayed 4 days in a hotel. The hotel is located nearby the biggest shopping mall in dadunhai area, which provides a big number of attractions inside, fine dining and shopping. Dadunhai beach is okay with well developed infrastructure. Breakfast is perfect with a huge amounts of dishes both European, Russian and Chinese cuisine.

Pros: - Friendly & helpful staff: the reception desk managers are quick & obliging, will call a taxi for you & answer all the questions. And even though there's an evident problem with communicating in English, as only a couple of managers speak it, you will get the assistance with every issue asap, as the team uses translating apps. Same way there's always a safeguard at the pool from early morning till the late evening. The cooks & waiters do their best during the breakfast time & the buffet table is organized quite comfortable. And special thanks to the ladies responsible for housekeeping, they are real fairies. You don't see them, but everything is clean & shining every day. - Ideal location: it took 22 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport by taxi & approximately the same time to get to Yalong bay. We needed just 11 minutes of walking to get to Dadonghai beach, 40 minutes of walking to get to Luhuitou scenic area & 15 minutes more to get from there to Xiaodunhai beach, but we like walking. If you don't - taxi or public transport will get you there muxh quicker. - Public transport availability: there're bus stops of different bus routes close to the hotel & it's quite easy to get to Nanshan cultural park, Dongtian park, Yanoda rainforest area & many other sightseeings. Same way you can easily get to shopping malls in Sanya (Joy city, for eg.), Sanya romance park & so on - Additional services: if you are not a fan of self-organized adventures, there's an excursion office in the lobby. We didn't use it, so can't say exactly what they suggest, but other tourists used it - The food at breakfasts is a combination of local & European cuisines with a wide range of dishes, typical for buffets. You will never stay hungry & for sure will find something for your taste - All of the facilities, including the restaurants, the pool, the sitting areas, same way as the hotel territory as a whole, were top tier. Neat, tidy & well maintained - As for the room itself, it was quite comfortable for two persons: spacious, filled with light, decorated with wood, which made it look cozy & some kind of ”aquarium” design. Yes, it's a bit ”tired”, but maintained in a good state Cons: - There's a gym, but it's really tiny: there's a treadmill, a cable machine, a stationary bicycle, a set of dumbells. As far as I can remember, there was also a rowing machine, but it didn't work. There was no abs wheel, or even one inclined bench or cardio stepper, same way there was no yoga mats. Just not much for girls( Actually I understand, why: for 7 days we saw just 1-2 persons a day using the gym, but still it's a good idea to have it for those, who care about their shape - If you are a vegetarian, as one of us, be careful, while choosing dishes at the breakfast buffet: sometimes on the note tablet it's said, that it's baked vegetables, but there're pieces of baked meat or chicken within them. Just be attentive - For us the main disappointment were some guests, who behaved quite impolite: smoked inside the elevators, though there was large notice reminding on prohibition to do that. Same way during the breakfasts some guests managed to create such a mess not only on the tables but around them. Have no idea, for what reason adult people throw food on the floor again and again, but it looks ridiculous. Anyway, good manners can't be bought & your behaviour in public places says much more about your personality. But thanks a lot once again to the restaurant staff, who makes all that mess disappear quickly Anyway, the pros evidently overweighed the cons, so we can definitely recommend this hotel for staying in Dadonghai area

We have booked room with breakfast. In China main problem for vegetarian people is Food, here you can’t find vegan food easily. We stayed in holiday inn for 2 night and 2 nights in other hotel, While i checked in i asked front desk to ask restaurant to prepare vegan food for us but he said they have many things inside , you can take vegetarian food by yourself, but first day in breakfast we could not eat anything other than plain rice and fruit because everything contains meat or egg. Then i talked to one of hotel staff Name LUCAS who can speak good english. He helped us to convey our requirements to restaurant manager then on second day we could get proper breakfast. Lucas also helped us to talk to our other hotel manager about our food restrictions so that we could get vegan food over there too LUCAS helped us for other all difficulties too. being non Chinese people its not easy for us to survive in china because we don’t know chinese language and we are vegetarian people. But LUCAS became superman for us and overcome all our problems. Thanks a lot LUCAS for your selfless service in all the way. I have attached photo of vegetarian food which was prepared on second day after struggling on first day Thanks again my friend Lucas.🙏🙏

The hotel is new and clean. The service of the staff is extremely good. Breakfast is a disappointment, it is chinese style breakfast and the oil smell is very strong in the restaurant.

Hotel has a good location surrounded by many restaurants/bakery/cafe. There is also a mall just across the hotel and a souvenir shop adjacent to it. I only booked the room for one night but decided to extend my stay as it is very convenient, clean and comfortable. The room also has ample space and looks very modern. On the second night, the hotel staff also left a fruit basket in my room; thank you for the kind gesture. For the price paid, I'd highly recommend this hotel!

This place is amazing! We moved to this hotel on the last day of our HaiKou trip as we have an early flight the next day. It's only 5-10 mins away from the airport, depending on the traffic. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they provide free transport to the airport. They helped us booked the transport when we checked into the hotel. The room we booked is beautiful, it's clean and tidy, comfortable bed and nice thick towels. Very happy with the room we got. We brought some local fruits to bring back to our country, but there isn't any fridge in the room. Their staff helped to keep the fruits in the fridge at their counter. We were given a reminder call 30mins before the transport came, which was a surprise to us. This is such a good service which we don get in other countries, unless you requested for it. There are eateries and convenient stores around the hotel, so you dont need to worry about food. If not, you can just take a DiDi, to the airport where there are shopping outlets and food courts. Overall, very good experience at this hotel. Highly recommend to everyone

After Sanya, I headed to Haikou and stayed at the InterContinental Haikou Seaview. The hotel is located along the scenic Binhai Road, offering stunning views of the Qiongzhou Strait. The location was perfect, with easy access to a park connector and a mall. I loved taking evening strolls here; it was so peaceful and windy, which I enjoyed. Check-in was seamless, and the staff were professional and attentive. My room was spacious and modern, with a large window offering panoramic sea views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the toilet made getting ready and unwinding for the day luxurious! Yes, they have a bidet in the bathroom. The only downside was the weak air conditioner, so we slept with the balcony open. I also wished they provided bath salts or bath bombs to enhance the bathtub experience. Overall, this was my favorite hotel in Haikou. It’s slightly away from the main attractions, but it’s perfect for relaxation, eating, and shopping. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice modern hotel. It was our first stop in Haikou, and the reception staff - Daisy and the other girls- showed great hospitality, despite not speaking English. Location is good, across the highway there are some malls and lively local food streets. The bad part - in the room we got at first there was a strong cigarette smell, we got the room changed, but the smell was still coming and going from the vent system, as some of the guests clearly smoked in their rooms, despite the ”no smoking” policy. It was bearable, but unpleasant.

It's a very established hotel. Best thing is there are hot spring water in the room itself. And a hot spring pool to enjoy too. Can try if you like hot spring.

Look Beyond Hotel is in a beautiful location that makes exploring the area an absolute breeze. What really stands out is the convenience of having affordable public parking lots nearby, which takes the stress out of finding a spot. (Ask me where?) Plus, being within walking distance to so many attractions is a huge bonus. It’s the perfect place for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

Amazing Stay at Atour Hotel, Even During a Typhoon! We had an amazing stay at Atour, even though we unexpectedly encountered the Yagi Typhoon and had to extend our stay for an additional four days. We were incredibly fortunate to be staying at Atour, which maintained power, water, and internet throughout the storm. They even provided free washing and drying services, which was a huge help. Due to the typhoon, all the nearby restaurants and supermarkets were closed, but Atour went above and beyond by offering free breakfast, simple meals for lunch, dinner, and supper. Their hospitality during such a difficult time was truly exceptional. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed three nights at Hilton Haikou and got the residence apartment. The view was gorgeous at lvl 29, the bed was comfy and room was spacious. It was very easy to take a didi car to qi Lou old street and haikou century bridge. There could be a bit of a jam during peak hour so do be mindful. At the back of the hotel, it's linked to a mall with a supermarket and coconut steamboat so it's pretty convenient. Buffet breakfast was yum, the waffles were the best compared to other hotels at Sanya and ocean flower island, the hainan rice noodle was delicious and the freshly fried youtiao. We wish there could be more variety but overall we enjoyed our stay

Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, but the only drawback is that there are no charging stations in the parking lot. In addition, no sanitary bags were found in the room. The bathroom is equipped with a dehumidifier, which is very considerate. In addition, Westin's bedding is as satisfactory as always. Hygiene: The overall maintenance is good. Environment: The surrounding environment is great, the beach is also beautiful and quiet, and there are facilities for taking photos and checking in. Service: The service is also very good. When I arrived at the hotel in the early morning, there was still a concierge to help carry the luggage to the room, and there was room service 24 hours a day, which was great. It would be perfect if there was a concierge to help guide me when I arrived at the hotel door.

This hotel comes highly recommended. Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly accommodating and even upgraded my stay to a villa, which was fantastic. The food at the Horizon Beach Bar was outstanding, and the staff were attentive, always anticipating my needs. The cuisine at the Western restaurant was also excellent. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful experience.

Arrived a day after Yagi .. hotel was open though still cleaning up after high tide left beach sand in pool. Otherwise all good - staff courteous and very helpful. Restaurants were not all operating during time but breakfast was fantastic. Nearby township many place to eat and wander along the beach. Locally some good attractions. The only negative - you go to a private hotel wirh beachfront access and prohibited from swimming in sea. Get some lifeguards ..set up properly even in selected morning and afternoon time .. the pool was good, but I went to the beach to swim in the sea! The local Sunset bar was nice to also enjoy in the warm evening. Would consider again or at least a Sheraton Resort again sometime.

The hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

Excellent location and awesome place! If you're out and about in Riyue Bay, this place is an ideal choice. It would be even better if there were more directional signs in English for people booking through teip.com. For those who have trouble finding where the building is: skip the first building. turn left from the entrance and walk down 50 metres until you see elevators (T5-3) next to a little convenience store. That's how you get up there. Nevertheless, the customer service is good and the manager came out to get us and also added our Wechat to keep in contact in case there are any issues. Supplies were replenished regularly, and the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels and toiletries. Overall a pretty good experience. Recommended!

Nice and cozy apartment just off the main road of Riyue Bay, at a very reasonable price. Finding the room at night was a bit hard as there were no corridor lights, and some of the doors needed repair. But once inside the room everything is perfect. Service was wonderful. My butler 管家 was attentive and very responsive, whether in the evenings and mornings. If you're just looking to chill and surf, or for family water activities this lace is great. If you're looking to go sightseeing then it would be worth looking outside the island.

Glad I booked this room. The easy pool access was the highlight. We felt like we got a villa for a cheap price. The room and the pool were very clean. The service could have been better though. Like the afternoon tea at the lobby. We requested it to be delivered in the room but it was not allowed so we need to get it at the lobby. Second was the room service. There were many dishes that were not available in the menu and the staff made a mistake twice with our order. It took us an hour or so before we can finally eat our dinner. Overall, we would still want to stay here again.

It is a sea view room. You can see the sea from the room. It is very comfortable. I experienced surfing in Riyue Bay and went out to sea. It was very happy! The service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic, and responsive to every request.

A very cost-effective one on the Shenzhou Peninsula. There is a saying that an old hotel will be a bit old but the hygiene is still very clean. The pre-sale and after-sale service is very good! Butler Ella is very attentive and thoughtful, there are questions and answers, you can ask local recommendations for food, lodging and transportation. There is a wetland board park outside the hotel, which is very suitable for sports lovers. Complex energy and yoga are also indispensable. Surfing is also indispensable, and there are many net red bars. The experience of staying is very good!

Hotel environment is very good! This is my second time here. The front desk service is very warm and patient, and the quality is cheap. I happened to come to Wanning for a business trip, so I came directly to this hotel. It's very quiet, and the whole person is very relaxed there, especially the special ibex here is very delicious, it's great and I will come again if I have the opportunity. Recommended,
