Amazing views and spacious room as listed. A little bit disappointing as they don’t provide much amenities and room service, other than it was up to my expectations. Me and my partner was in the corner paranoma suite room and the ocean views are unblocked. You can see the sunrise right infront of the bed. Location was very convenient, many seafood restaurants nearby and transportation is easy. Free parking if you are staying.

This was a very pleasant place to stay before and after a hike in Seoraksan National Park. Lovely view from the balcony. Very clean and comfortable, and helpful staff! Very convenient location. The local bus to the national park is right across the street from the hotel, and the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the express bus terminal. I was pleasantly surprised by a washing machine in the room, which was great to clean my muddy clothes after my hike (you'll need your own laundry detergent). The room had a kitchenette with sink, hot plate, and full-size refrigerator and freezer. The only problem is there was no pot or pan to use on the hot plate, so I could not actually use it to warm my food (unless I would travel with my own pot)! It would be nice if the room provided a hair dryer and if the hotel had some breakfast option. The cafe downstairs offers only drinks, not food, and doesn't open until 11 a.m. The entryway light is motion activated, and there are many electronic buttons and panels around the room that emit light, so if you are sensitive to light while sleeping, you will have to cover your eyes with a sleep mask. Also note that it you close the sliding door between the bed and living area while the air conditioning is on, it will prevent the cold air from reaching the part of the room where the thermostat is located, so the air conditioner will remain on indefinitely, and the sleeping area will get very cold. The various panels for lights and temperature were a bit difficult to understand. English labels would be helpful. But the receptionist was helpful and came up to my room to show me how to use the air conditioning. The USB port on the nightstand worked some of the time and sometimes it didn't. I couldn't figure out if there was a switch or setting somewhere in the room to make it work, or if it was just malfunctioning.

The hotel boasts an excellent location and fantastic views. We were allocated a corner room with a great outlook. We arrived early, and the male receptionist informed us we could check in at 1 PM. However, upon returning after lunch, a different female staff member, who offered no smile, insisted check-in wasn't until 3 PM. We noticed other guests checking in, some even without a credit card, which felt inconsistent. After I had to complain, we were finally allowed to check in, but then they demanded a credit card for a security deposit. The attitude of the Korean front desk staff was very frustrating and made us feel extremely uncomfortable, almost discriminatory. Otherwise, everything else was fine, and we had a very enjoyable day.

It's quite a distance, so if you're coming on your own, you'll need to take a taxi. It costs about 25,000 won each way. The breakfast spread is huge, but there are no restaurants around the hotel at night, only within the resort itself. There isn't even a casual spot to grab a drink.

The room I entered on the first day was very unclean. - Only the bed was clean! - Stains on the table as they were - Hair all over the floor... Same with the bathroom - Traces of something eaten on the sofa... Since it was early morning check-in and the luggage had already been moved, I explained the situation and asked to change the room. The front desk said that they would only clean one night out of three, and asked if they would clean it tomorrow... (????) I didn't clean it... Considering that it would be difficult to change rooms at dawn, I asked them to change the room the next day.. Why did they clean it tomorrow as if it was a favor...? After talking to them again, they decided to change the room the next day, and fortunately! The room I changed to was clean. * On the third day, I was sleeping and heard a knock saying that the room was being cleaned, and they were trying to open the door right away, so I was startled while sleeping and told them not to come in because they didn't have to clean it, but they kept coming in and said they would just tag my card.. They said they had to tag it to get paid...(??) I travel a lot for business and often stay at hotels, but this was the first time I've seen something like this... I was half asleep and didn't understand what they were saying, and I was in my pajamas and a mess, so I told them not to come in because they kept coming in.. They didn't come in, but it's still absurd to think about later. The hotel system seems strange.... I stayed twice for 3 nights, but every time I went, I was never satisfied with the cleanliness, front desk, and various services, as if it were a 4-star hotel... I used it because of the location and facilities, etc., but... Well... I'm not sure about the future. * The photo is only a small part, there are also hair stains here and there that are not visible in the photo...

The condition of the convention tower room was good. The snowy scenery was also very nice. There were many places to go and things to do for a vacation, so it was good. The water park, swimming pool, sauna, Unamjeong, casino (Kangwon Land), gondola, skiing, sledding, etc. were spread out, so it wasn't too crowded even though it was a holiday, which was even better. ㅎㅎ I'm even more satisfied because there's something for everyone, from children to adults. It's a bit far to get there, but it's definitely a vacation, so I'd like to visit again^^

It was nice because it was a new hotel! The stay was neat, but it smelled like sewers in the bathroom. It was just when I entered the bathroom, so I didn't care much.

I was worried because of the poor reviews when it first opened, but it was so comfortable and nice. It's a residence, not a hotel, so the tables are large and comfortable, which was nice because I could eat comfortably in my room. However, the rubber on the toilet stall door came off, so I replaced it, but I think they'll need to do some repair work to make sure it doesn't come off.

The check-in experience was disappointing. The front desk receptionist was rude, unfriendly, and impatient. As tourists who are not familiar with public transport online ticketing, we needed assistance, but the staff was not helpful. Better customer service and support for international guests are needed.

Excellent bedding, cleanliness, and room condition, complemented by a heated rooftop pool! My family and I had a fantastic time here. Sokcho Beach is within walking distance, or just a 3-minute drive, which is perfect for an evening stroll. The area also boasts plenty of convenient facilities, with E-Mart, Olive Young, and Daiso all just a short walk away!

EEEErikaaaTraveling with a 2-year-old child It was nice that there was a children's playground, an indoor pool, and a large hot spring bath. The child was very satisfied. The dinner buffet had delicious snow crab and sashimi. There were various activities on site, as well as a convenience store, restaurant, and cafe, so we could enjoy ourselves all day at the resort. About 20 cm of snow fell in the middle of the night, but the staff worked hard to shovel it away, which was great. There were mats laid in the pool to prevent slipping, but they were not all over the place, so the tiled parts were slippery, so please be careful if you have small children. I asked for bed guards when I checked in, but they never came to install them.

GGuest UserI visited Gangneung with my brother for 2 nights and 3 days for the purpose of going out and sunrise sightseeing. Browndot Hotel had a good memory in Suncheon before, and I booked it through Trip.com because the Gangneung Gyodong branch was newly built. Everything is new, so it's clean and well maintained, so I spent 2 nights comfortably. My brother was also very satisfied, so I personally stood up. Because the shower room is not drained well, I took a star from the facility score, but the breakfast is good and the service is good, so I only leave a pleasant memory. I want to come again. Prosper ~

GGuest UserThe hotel room was fairly large. We even got upgraded to one twin bed and one single bed when we only booked two single beds. The hotel is basically on the slopes. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We could store our snowboards at the resort too. We tried out the wine bar which had an amazing special and ate at the bakery everyday.

GGuest UserThe Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.

SsylviaganThe room is very spacious and clean! We love the futon style and the mountain view. The Sono Tower C is very convenient and below are the food court and supermarket. However, there is no coin laundry available so we really need to plan our clothings and to use the hotel towels carefully. The heater in the room was very warm so we opened a small gap of the window and balcony door for better ventilation and cooler air. There is window net so we did not have to worry about any insects coming into the room. The toilet has a bidet with warm function so we really love it! All in all the room is great and pleasant to stay!

GGuest UserThis is a good place to stay if you come to visit the Raksansa Temple or to swim. The hotel is three years old, so facilities are fairly new. It has a cafe downstairs, waterfront seafood restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance. It has a gym and washing machines and dryers (5000W per cycle for each) at level 2. staffs are friendly - they speak English, one of them Mr Chui speaks Chinese - If I come back to Yangyang, I would consider booking here again.
