"Last year, my Urbanstay experience in Incheon was so fantastic that I decided to book Urbanstay in Sokcho as well, and I'm 99% satisfied. The only 1% dissatisfaction was that my room directly faced another building, making me feel a bit exposed with the curtains open, so much so that I ended up changing in the bathroom. The bedding was wonderfully comfortable, high-quality hotel-style linen. The room featured clean and practical furniture, plenty of hangers, and amenities like a washing machine, microwave, and coffee machine. Truly thoughtful service, with nothing lacking. The bathroom cabinets seemed to be made of hinoki wood, and the pleasant scent every time I entered was wonderfully refreshing. However, on Saturday evening, the music from the swimming pool's night event was incredibly loud until 9 PM, with vibrations so strong they made me feel nauseous. Ugh! Despite that one issue, everything else was so excellent that I wished I could have stayed for another month."

Saint The Suite Yangyang is a newly opened high-end lifestyle hotel located near Naksan Beach in Yangyang, Gangwon-do. Designed as an “All-Suite” property, it offers an immersive ocean-view stay experience through various spaces such as guest rooms, bathtubs, and rooftop areas, all set in a beachfront environment closest to the sea. Conveniently accessible from Seoul and the greater metropolitan area, the hotel is ideally positioned as a key destination along Korea’s East Coast. Centered around nature, relaxation, and lifestyle-driven experiences, it redefines the stay itself as a memorable journey.

"### 3-Night Stay Review Overall, I was quite satisfied with this accommodation. The rooms were spacious, and since all of them offered ocean views, I could enjoy the expansive sea. Having the beach right in front was also great for strolls. I barely heard any noise from other floors or even doors opening and closing next door, making it perfect for a quiet rest. The balcony was large, and the room had a hot/cold water dispenser and a generously sized refrigerator, comparable to what you'd find in a guesthouse, which made it convenient for longer stays. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent. The foreign staff who handled room cleaning were friendly and spoke good Korean, which made my stay more pleasant. The 12 PM checkout time was also a plus, allowing for a relaxed morning. The parrot in the lobby was a small, charming attraction, especially good for kids. However, there were a few downsides. The elevator area and hallways were hot because the air conditioning wasn't working properly, but it seems there's ongoing construction, so this might improve in the future. With only three elevators serving from the basement parking to the 23rd floor, wait times could be quite long during busy periods. Additionally, most of the shops on the first floor were vacant, leading to a somewhat desolate feeling due to a lack of convenience facilities like a convenience store or cafe. I was also a bit disappointed that the rooftop pool wasn't very large and required an extra fee for each use. In the mornings, it was less crowded, allowing for a more relaxed experience, and the small heated pool was great for warming up when it was cold. However, if there weren't many users, the bubble pool didn't run the bubbles much, and it was sometimes closed depending on the weather. Regarding breakfast, as blog reviews suggested, the taste of individual dishes was good, but the variety was a bit limited. It was generally satisfactory for a one-time experience. The restaurant was small, and the narrow aisle in front of the food counters made moving around a bit inconvenient. Still, since there aren't many breakfast restaurants nearby and they tend to be expensive, having breakfast at the hotel was more convenient. Especially for families traveling with young children, it's highly recommended as they provide plates, forks, spoons, as well as seaweed, porridge, seaweed soup, and cereal for preschoolers. The biggest advantage was undoubtedly the generous breakfast hours, from 7 AM to 12 PM."

"The cleanliness was so good. If my parents were a little messy, they couldn't sleep well, but they slept so well. I checked in a little late and kindly guided me. However, it was a pity that there was a little distance to use amenities around."

Experience a special retreat where comfort and sophistication come together at Wyndham Goseong, Gangwon, boasting ocean views from every guest room.

"I booked through Trip.com, but the front desk staff couldn't find my reservation, so I had to wait for about 10 minutes. I even showed them my phone with the voucher, but they still couldn't find it. Finally, when they did, they claimed they could only search by name and that my name was inverted, which is why they couldn't find it. If they can only search by name, then why bother issuing a reservation number? What was even more absurd was that they gave me room 1914 in Building A, but it turned out to be a non-existent room. I was so confused wandering around the 19th floor, which only goes up to room 1912. I had to go back down to inquire, and they casually told me they had given me the wrong room number and that it was actually 1904. The staff's attitude throughout all this was incredibly nonchalant, as if it was none of their business. It's unbelievable that this is the attitude of 5-star hotel front desk staff. Wow, I'm never going back!"

EEEErikaaaTraveling with a 2-year-old child It was nice that there was a children's playground, an indoor pool, and a large hot spring bath. The child was very satisfied. The dinner buffet had delicious snow crab and sashimi. There were various activities on site, as well as a convenience store, restaurant, and cafe, so we could enjoy ourselves all day at the resort. About 20 cm of snow fell in the middle of the night, but the staff worked hard to shovel it away, which was great. There were mats laid in the pool to prevent slipping, but they were not all over the place, so the tiled parts were slippery, so please be careful if you have small children. I asked for bed guards when I checked in, but they never came to install them.

GGuest UserThe hotel room was clean, big and comfortable. I had lake view. The hotel is located near the lake, the beach and restaurants as well as convenience stores and bus stops. Gangneung Coffee Street is a bus drive of 15 minutes away. However, I was shocked when the staff informed me about the admission fee for the swimming pool: 30.000 korean won!!!! It is not mentioned on Trip.com neither ***********. Anyway, the admission fee is far too high. I have chosen the hotel for its swimming pool. Next time in Gangneung, I will choose another hotel: this hotel only offered a clean and comfortable room, for a high price, but Gangneung has many hotels with clean and comfortable rooms, that are also located nearby the beach, lake, restaurants and bus stops, but for a better price.

Amazing
GGuest UserI had a very comfortable stay for three nights in Gangneung, thanks to how clean and well-maintained the accommodation was. The breakfast was fairly simple, but more than enough to start the day, and I especially appreciated the sense of space, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. Getting around was easy whether by bus or taxi, and the location made it convenient to visit nearby attractions like Ojukheon and Jungang Market. For those travelling by car, the spacious parking area is definitely a big plus. There’s also a lovely pine forest path just behind the property, perfect for a quiet stroll. The ocean view from the room really added to the holiday atmosphere, and being able to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset was one of the highlights of staying at Shilla Monogram.

AAlbert0 travellerThe hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood of Gangneung, not close to the main centers of interest of many tourists. The hotel itself is quite new and modern and clean. The check-in is not open until 4pm, however you can self check-in earlier on a kiosk for an additional cost. I really appreciated the possibility to do a laundry for free, in my case it was needed. The bathroom is equipped with smart toilet which is nice. A complete Korean breakfast is offered in the morning. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and cafes

IIeja LizahWe stayed at Mona YongPyong – Bliss Hill Stay 🏔️ The place was very strategic and convenient. Just below our hostel was the YongPyong Bus Station, and right next to it was Mona Park Ski Resort ❄️🎿 We also enjoyed halal food at Efes Kebab, which made our stay even more memorable 🍽️🤍 We will definitely come back again next time!

GGuest UserWhile clean, the room was much smaller than I anticipated. Check-in took an incredibly long time; I waited for three hours! They claimed to be following check-in numbers sent via KakaoTalk, but this wasn't actually the case. Someone making a lot of complaints was prioritized, and the whole situation was just chaotic. The room was surprisingly small and looked nothing like the photos. I was assigned to Building A, but the pictures on Trip.com were completely different from the room I received (I suspect they were of Buildings B and C). I initially wondered if the hotel had given me the wrong room, but upon re-examining the photos, the very last one did seem to be of Building A. Honestly, I feel deceived, having chosen the room based solely on those initial, misleading pictures. The swimming pool also incurs an additional charge of 80,000 KRW per person (I didn't use the pool). There's a bakery area, and its lobby is so close to the pool that everything is visible from there. While waiting for check-in, I had coffee in the lobby, and it felt rather awkward seeing people in their swimsuits so close by. Breakfast is divided into two time slots, so you must arrive at your allocated time. The coffee service, where staff pour it for you, was also quite inconvenient. Normally, one would get coffee from a self-service machine, but here there's a dedicated 'coffee zone' where you have to place an order with staff. When there's a queue, you end up waiting with your food in hand, which is truly inconvenient. And the coffee wasn't even exceptionally delicious. Despite having three staff members at the coffee zone, the whole process felt incredibly inefficient. The breakfast food itself, however, was tasty. Oh, and a quick note: Netflix isn't available in the rooms, haha. I honestly think the Lotte Resort, where I previously stayed, is far superior. Their rooms are much more spacious, the pool is complimentary, and it definitely has a more luxurious vibe. Breakfast at Lotte is also tastier, in my personal opinion (and you *can* watch Netflix there!). To sum up, Cassia offers breathtaking scenery. The breakfast was varied and delicious! However, I feel they haven't made effective use of the hotel's interior space. It's genuinely vast, and as you wander, you encounter tables, uncomfortable chairs, and very large art books on display, but it all feels a bit forced and out of place. I never felt like sitting down and relaxing on the chairs, which were also uncomfortable. The overall interior design felt somewhat unkempt and disjointed. It's a shame such a large space wasn't utilized more thoughtfully. Next time, I'll probably opt for Lotte Resort over Cassia.

Jjohn8565The overall facilities and environment are decent, but the check-in and check-out times are completely unreasonable. You can't check in until 3 PM, yet someone was knocking on the door by 11 AM the next morning to rush us out, and they were quite rude about it, which really soured the experience. On top of that, the air conditioning in the room couldn't be adjusted, making it very inconvenient. I really hope the hotel can improve its service procedures and room amenities.
