The hotel environment is very good, the most impressive thing is that the breakfast is very rich, far exceeding expectations. The only fly in the ointment is that there is no free parking space, but parking nearby is also very convenient.
The room was very clean and large. We arrived later than dinner time and communicated with the hotel staff in advance, and they still left us a sumptuous dinner. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming
Located in the city center, it is very convenient for travel. Sightseeing and shopping are just a few steps away.
The room is too small, so consider carefully if you have a lot of luggage. The twin beds are put together. The door lock is different from that of domestic hotels. You need to swipe it again when you leave to lock it.
The breakfast is great and rich in variety. The room is cleaned every day. The front desk answered all questions, but there was no one when I checked out at 5 o'clock in the morning.
This hotel is right next to Tromsø Airport, and there's an airport bus stop just outside. The bus ride itself only takes about 5 minutes, 😂 but the ticket costs over 100 RMB, which felt a bit steep. It's perfect for late-night arrivals, especially after a long 10+ hour journey; you can get to the hotel and rest quickly after landing.
The environment and facilities are pretty standard, on par with most hotels in Norway.
Service gets a thumbs up! I managed to snag a free coffee from the front desk when checking out in the morning.
Since the hotel is a bit away from the city center, there's less light pollution, and we were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights right from the rooftop terrace!
They will do daily cleaning in the room which is appreciated, but took away our spoons which the staff thought it was the hotel’s. And sometimes after cleaning, they didn’t provide garbage bag for the bin. We are also not notified that 24 December is their ‘holiday’ so the breakfast will start late, several group standing in front of the restaurant waiting it to open while we are actuall rushing to the airport. The staff did allow us in at the end, no chaotic was caused luckily.
The room was spacious and new, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing – the best and most diverse we had on our entire trip, even better than the Radisson Blu in Oslo. It was incredible value for money. My only minor concern was that the door automatically locks itself one minute after being closed, which felt a bit less secure when leaving the room.
Pros: The hotel is very new, the bathroom is clean, there's a Type-C charging port, and slippers are provided. The hotel bar is also cheaper than other places in the city.
Cons: The hotel doesn't provide complimentary water bottles.
The room size isn't an issue, but the wardrobe space for hanging clothes is tiny. Considering we're in the Arctic Circle, how am I supposed to hang a thick winter coat or jacket in that small space?!
There was a lot of hair on the bed, and even after changing rooms, it was the same! Still hair! The pillowcase was even put on inside out! For a standard room costing over 400 Euros a night, this definitely doesn't justify the price.
The standard room photos on the website show beautiful views, and there was no distinction between sea view and city view when booking. I've stayed twice in three different standard rooms. One on the second floor faced the bridge. The other two faced apartment buildings. In both my stays (including one room change), I never got the standard room view advertised by the hotel. I wonder who does get those rooms?
Facilities: There's a kettle, and disposable items like shower caps are provided.
Cleanliness: Very clean and hygienic, with a great Nordic-style decor.
Service: Front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast service are all excellent.
Location: Absolutely central, convenient for getting anywhere. Close to the shopping street, the station, and the hotel itself is a hub for many tours and activities.
What I didn't expect was how dry it is here (compared to the UK).
The view from the window is as shown in the picture.
The hotel is outdated and is scheduled to be refurbished in 2025 or 2026.
The lobby is ”super” small with no design theme (for what that matters).
My room was small and poorly laid-out...plus, the bed was so soft it was uncomfortable and I knew my back would suffer, so I placed the thin topper on the floor and slept on that.
Once housekeeping left at the end of the day you could not obtain extra blankets or pillows...all I had was one small, rectangular pillow....I did not get a good sleep!
The gym could only be accessed by climbing a narrow, winding set of stairs...I never got there.
The front office staff was amazing...so pleasant and accommodating....despite all the demands placed on them.
I was thankful I was only staying for 1 night.
A hotel that is located conveniently to many pick up points for tours. Grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants are also located nearby. Simple amenities such as shampoo/body soap, towels, hairdryer are available. Love it that there is breakfast and dinner that comes together with your stay. Nothing too fancy but good enough to fill your bellies considering the restaurants are quite pricey. You will need to get hot water on your own at the dispenser as there are no kettle in the room. Reception was always friendly in answering any questions, and even helped with my cab booking to the airport. Worth it for the price, would stay here again.

GGuest UserThe service hotel was well-equipped with kitchen appliances and cutlery for those who are on budget and wish to cook! The hotel is unmanned so there js no daily house-keeping or in-person service staff on site during our stay but the check-in process was seamless nonetheless with the help of the kiosk machines at the hotel. The location was very central, near to multiple bus stops, we took less than 20 minutes to visit most of the attractions and top food spots were only minutes walk away. Highly recommended

GGuest UserHighly recommend for its superb location , within walking distance to alot of 'must go' , ie : Mcondald. Popular hotdogs stand. Beside restaurants, you can also find supermarket behind Strogata main street to get your mineral water, milk etc at much affordable price compared.
Also like to applause to the great customer support from front desk colleague gave, especially to Ms A ( forget her full name) ,going extra mile to ensure the room suit my needs .
