The hotel environment is very good, the most impressive thing is that the breakfast is very rich, far exceeding expectations. The only fly in the ointment is that there is no free parking space, but parking nearby is also very convenient.
The room was very clean and large. We arrived later than dinner time and communicated with the hotel staff in advance, and they still left us a sumptuous dinner. The breakfast was delicious and the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming
Even during the busy winter holiday season, I was able to have a comfortable stay without any mistakes.
I was able to eat the most delicious breakfast in Norway, which is unique to Norway. It was well-balanced, but it was really delicious, so be careful not to eat too much 😊
In the evening, it takes time when group check-ins overlap, but it's okay, they are efficient and everything went smoothly.
The room is equipped with a kettle and refrigerator, which is convenient.
This hotel is especially good value for money for travelers from Asia and travelers from all over the world. There are really many different languages spoken here.
Extremely satisfied with this stay. The environment is great, the service is excellent, and it's convenient to get to the airport. The nearby lake views are fantastic and very pleasant for a stroll. On our last night in Tromsø, we even saw the Northern Lights from the hotel's lobby balcony, which made up for any disappointments we had during our trip. This hotel is truly wonderful!
This is the northernmost hotel I have ever stayed in. I flew from Oslo to Tromso early in the morning. Although I arrived at the hotel very early, the front desk lady was very enthusiastic to check in. The room facilities are very complete, especially the bed and interior decoration are very comfortable and warm. In the morning, you can see the beautiful scenery of the town covered with snow when you open the curtains, which is simply refreshing. The breakfast also impressed me. There are many choices, and you can feel the local characteristics and care in every bite. Especially the hot dishes and freshly ground coffee provide full energy for the day's journey. In addition, the hotel is also very conveniently located. You can walk to the main attractions of the town, and it is also very safe to walk around at night.
Overall, this stay experience is very pleasant and it is definitely an unforgettable memory! Looking forward to the opportunity to come here for vacation again next time.
Conveniently located, walking distance to Arctic cathedral. Breakfast is excellent and very good spread . The front desk staff on 4 Oct early afternoon morning is extremely helpful. The Bristol staff whom I have placed order for early breakfast has forgotten to register my order and this front desk gentleman is kindly to help and give me the breakfast in time for my departure.
Location is quite convenient, at the corner of the central street and has good view of Tromso from the rooftop (not so much my room).
Room appears spacious, there is additional chair and bench. However, I find it hard to use the space. There is no space to open my luggage fully unless it is on the bench. There are only 3 rather shallow hooks in the room. I ended up hanging both my jackets (which overlaps since the hooks are close to each other) and my towel but there is no more space to hang anything else! And no proper wardrobe as the “wardrobe” has dividers so it looks more like a shoe cabinet. I’m a solo traveller booking a double room, I cannot imagine if there was one more person in this space.
The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate for our needs. We booked a sea-view room on the highest floor, the 10th. The two large windows offered a truly stunning view, with distant snow-capped mountains and city lights clearly visible.
Downstairs, the lobby provides complimentary tea and coffee. Conveniently, there's also a Best Arctic office right next to the lobby. We booked all three of our day tours there, and the departure point was very close to the hotel. All in all, the location is excellent and incredibly convenient.
Check-in was a bit slow, so be prepared to be patient.
The hotel is outdated and is scheduled to be refurbished in 2025 or 2026.
The lobby is ”super” small with no design theme (for what that matters).
My room was small and poorly laid-out...plus, the bed was so soft it was uncomfortable and I knew my back would suffer, so I placed the thin topper on the floor and slept on that.
Once housekeeping left at the end of the day you could not obtain extra blankets or pillows...all I had was one small, rectangular pillow....I did not get a good sleep!
The gym could only be accessed by climbing a narrow, winding set of stairs...I never got there.
The front office staff was amazing...so pleasant and accommodating....despite all the demands placed on them.
I was thankful I was only staying for 1 night.
A hotel that is located conveniently to many pick up points for tours. Grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants are also located nearby. Simple amenities such as shampoo/body soap, towels, hairdryer are available. Love it that there is breakfast and dinner that comes together with your stay. Nothing too fancy but good enough to fill your bellies considering the restaurants are quite pricey. You will need to get hot water on your own at the dispenser as there are no kettle in the room. Reception was always friendly in answering any questions, and even helped with my cab booking to the airport. Worth it for the price, would stay here again.

RRavissara S.The room is spacious and clean. Great view from the room's window. I really like the room layout and it is beautifully furbished. The kitchen is great because it comes with A COMPLETE set of kitchen utensils. You will never run out of anything. This is also my first time staying in an apartment-like hotel in Europe, so I was impressed by the dishwasher. The floor is also warmed, which I like. Especially, in the bathroom, my feet didn't feel cold at all, unlike other places. I could not use the kiosk to check-in, but it worked just fine on my iPhone. I was worried about using smart key in my iPhone, as I read a lot of complaints from other reviews. However, it worked perfectly, including the entrance, elevator, and my room. I had no issue at all despite my thick phone case. During my stay, I met no staff. Luckily, there was not any issue, so everything was fine. Lastly, the location is the best. it is located in the centre, and there are several supermarkets nearby. Overall, it is a great place to stay and the price is very affordable. I think I will stay here again if I have a chance to return to Tromsø.

EE2691****The room was small, and there were very few power outlets. The USB socket on one side of the bedside was broken, but I was able to borrow a power strip with three outlets from the front desk, and they told me there were more outlets under the bed. Without that power strip, there would only have been two outlets plus one USB port available by the window.
If you leave early, the hotel front desk offers a simple breakfast, which was decent. During normal breakfast hours, gluten-free options are also available.
The shower stall in the bathroom was very small, making it a bit awkward for a woman to shower comfortably. The floor tiles in the shower had a steep slope for drainage, so I had to really grip with my feet to avoid bumping into the right-angled, double-door shower enclosure.
The front desk staff member who checked me in on the first day was quite good; she informed us that the aurora would be very strong that night and the next, advising us to keep an eye on the sky.
SSAM30Didn’t take any pictures of our actual room, but it was as shown in pictures!
It was easy to spot the hotel. Also conveniently near supermarket, convenience store and petrol stations.
Our room faced the beautiful mountain so it was really nice to wake up to it.
Hotel buffet spread was just right and the whole place felt very homely. Staff were friendly as well!
Would definitely stay here again.
