This hostel's location is super convenient; it's right by the exit of Xiaoshizi subway station. Downstairs, there's a bustling shopping area, and it's incredibly easy to get to popular spots like Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, and Shibati—they're all within walking distance. The owner is incredibly nice, helpful, and very patient. During my trip to Chongqing, I genuinely felt the warmth, hospitality, sincerity, and kindness of the local people everywhere I went. Chongqing truly is a city with warmth, and staying at Yijia Youth Hostel was definitely the right choice. I'll surely be back! I hope to work in Chongqing after graduating from university and revisit Yijia Youth Hostel to retrace my steps from that time!

Ahhhh, Chishan (Eat Mountain) is truly my 'white moonlight' [a cherished, unforgettable place]! This was my first time staying in a hostel, originally recommended by a friend. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was just fantastic! The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic, and every meal at Chishan was absolutely delicious 😋. Its location is super convenient – right next to the subway station 🚉. And all the little cats 🐱 are incredibly cute 😻 and so easy to pet! Seriously, if you're coming to Chongqing, choose Chishan for a wonderfully happy trip~~!

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive and varied, and you can even play board games, which is much better than typical hostels. The common area is very spacious. Hygiene: Absolutely spotless, especially the bathroom. It's perfectly clean, with separate shower and toilet areas, and a very tidy sink. Environment: As shown in the picture, this bunk bed is 1.5 meters wide. I've stayed in hostels of all price ranges in major cities, and none in the same price bracket can compare to this one. The pillows and duvet covers are hotel-grade, and the curtains are very thick and high-quality. Service: The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. If you have trouble sleeping, you can borrow earplugs for free at the reception, and if the pillow isn't comfortable, you can even swap it out.

An incredibly heartwarming stay in Chongqing ✨🐾 This hostel truly made my time in Chongqing wonderful! The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get everywhere. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Even though their English wasn't perfect, everyone made a genuine effort to communicate with me, and using translation software actually made the whole process cuter and more heartwarming. My room was clean, comfortable, and even had a nice little view. Plus, it was cleaned daily, which made my stay feel very secure and peaceful. The hostel also boasts a rooftop with a stunning view. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly when I visited, so I didn't get to fully enjoy it, but I've saved it for next time! ❄️🌆 And the little cats and dogs here are absolutely adorable, giving the whole place a warm, homey feel. Staying here truly felt as relaxed and comfortable as being at a friend's house. Initially, I thought about trying a different place for a change of scenery, but I was ultimately so drawn to the atmosphere here that I ended up staying until my departure from Chongqing. Many thanks to Bao Bao and Dan Dan, two lovely girls, for taking such good care of me. • Dan Dan was especially thoughtful and always happy to help, even recommending an amazing SPA that I absolutely loved! • Bao Bao, in particular, was incredibly enthusiastic. She took me to eat delicious food, go shopping, and on walks, making my trip so much richer and more enjoyable. 💛✨ I'm already missing this place! I'll definitely be back next time!

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at, both domestically and internationally. The environment is absolutely fantastic—bright, spacious, and spotlessly clean from the moment you walk in. Even the hidden corners are immaculate, showing that a lot of thought went into the design details. I’ve never stayed in such a bright hostel before (and I won't accept arguments on this!). The rooms are spacious and well-lit, and the bathrooms and showers are clean and odor-free. The bedding is neatly ironed, high-quality, and comfortable. Most importantly, the price is incredibly cheap, offering excellent value for money! All the small details truly make for a pleasant stay. Drawbacks: 1. The common areas seem to be designed with a male demographic in mind. For guys staying at the hostel, there's free e-sports and billiards, and right outside, there's an affordable e-sports-themed supermarket. If you're hungry, you can order takeout, creating a self-contained ecosystem. It's not very female-friendly, as fewer women typically play e-sports or billiards, and the study room is often full. There isn't really a good public area for women to comfortably sit. 2. There's no self-service microwave or refrigerator in the common areas, which makes storing food inconvenient.

Facilities: The amenities throughout the Eating Mountain area are very thoughtful and meticulous. There's even a ladies' powder room, which is so incredibly needed! Seriously, who gets it?!. Hygiene: It's also very clean, with dedicated aunties for cleaning. Environment: And most importantly, the atmosphere is great. They occasionally offer special meals that you can sign up for. The wontons downstairs are also delicious. Chongqing, I'll definitely be back next time!

I had a very pleasant stay. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the facilities were great. Everything was well organized, which made the stay relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place to others and stay here again.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel; the spacious and warmly decorated rooms made me feel extremely comfortable, and the bedding was also very comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. The service at the hotel was also excellent; Qian Duoduo went out of his way to help answer questions and provide assistance, so overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates a good stay! Pc: This stay is walking distance to metro station, bus stop is right in front and all the main tourist places are within 15-20 minutes distance.

I had originally planned to return to Luzhou two days ago. However, high-speed train tickets were either too expensive or sold out, so I ended up staying in Chongqing for another two days. Luckily, I managed to book a spot at what turned out to be the best youth hostel in Lianglukou. The room environment was excellent, and it even had a private bathroom with the shower and toilet separated. The hostel also offered a great communal lounge where guests could watch TV together, sing, and there were laundry facilities and a designated smoking area. What truly made this place stand out was the owner's fantastic service attitude and their honesty and trustworthiness. Every time I messaged them on WeChat with a query or request, they responded immediately. This is hands down the best youth hostel I've stayed at in Chongqing. If I get the chance to visit Chongqing again, I'll definitely be booking a bed here once more.

A zen place in a busy city. This hostel is very special, you can directly feel that the owner put all his heart and passion to create this place. All the roofs are the best way to observe the city from above. I felt like home in that cozy place, the owner his super friendly, and will welcome you with some very good tea. Thanks for this time ✨️
