Hot spring Hotels in Beijing, China

Great location, the hotel is within Gubei Water Town. It is a short walk to Simatai great wall cable car and to the main area of the water town. Room was clean and comfortable except that it didn’t have air condition. Called the front desk and was told we’ll have to open the windows. We went in October so it was chill at night. Breakfast spread was amazing, there was so much options. It’s slightly pricey, but you pay for what you get.

Loved the stay! The staff is very nice. Although only one of them speaks English, they are all very friendly. Since I was sick, I asked for more than 15 small bottles of water, and they were willing to bring them to our room. The hotel is nice, with large spaces and nice decorations. Some parts are sloppy, reflecting the ”made in China” stereotype, but overall, nothing is broken and everything works fine. The toilet seat is warm and has functions similar to a Japanese toilet, which is rare in China, known for its subpar toilets. Also the projector works amazingly.

This hotel is a small germ if you consider your stay at Beijing. Yes, it is a bit outside of the main city but the traffic connections towards the inner parts of Beijing is still reasonable. It is a rather quiet place to have a couple of days with the focus on relaxing when you have only a few things to do in Beijing. The set-up with a kind of traditional house structure - only two floors, square shaped outlying of the building, provides a rather friendly and easy to go feeling. The facilities are well maintained and the fountains in the central yard provide a nice addition together with the hot spring tubes. The surrounding of the artificial lake provides a nice atmosphere. Some visitors may regret that the area surrounding the hotel does not offer much. The stuff are well trained and carry out their tasks with the friendliness expected from a hotel at this level. I summary, I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a couple of relaxing days if you have to stay in Beijing and do not have a busy schedule at the same time.

The service staff are very enthusiastic. The room facilities are relatively new. Because I need to iron clothes, the front desk said that every room has one, but after checking in, I found that there is no iron in the room, so I called the housekeeping department to ask for it. Soon the waiter brought Xiaomi's hanging iron. A very useful handheld hanging iron, but there is no hanging iron rack. This is a bit inconsiderate. The room is bright. The overall cleanliness. There is a pillow I like (cassia seed?) that can help me fall asleep quickly. The room temperature is moderate, and the air conditioner has not been turned on for the past few days. The climate in Beijing is relatively dry, so the clothes can be dried overnight. The breakfast is quite rich. There are a variety of porridge, noodles, fried dumplings, bread, fruits, etc.

The St. Regis butler service is indeed a special service. This time when I came to St. Regis, I met Candice from the butler department. She was very enthusiastic and considerate to help me solve many problems, so that I could have a very comfortable experience in St. Regis. The nightfall ceremony of the St. Regis Beijing, sabering champagne, was full of ritual, and I was very fortunate to be able to cut the champagne on the last night of 2024. I am very grateful for the hotel's warm hospitality and Candice's caring and warm service.

Our stay at brickyard was brilliant. We stayed in the rock house villa with a view of the Great Wall out of our bedroom window and an amazing experience staying in a beautiful Chinese villa. The service was great from start to finish and the staff were very helpful with getting us get to the wall and picking us up to take us back to the hotel. This service was really helpful and the staff were very happy to assist at any point. One part that could be improved was the quality of food and options of food. We thought the dinner buffet and breakfast could be bigger and of better quality. Overall we’d recommend this place to stay if you are planning a trip to the Great Wall 😄

Very good option for a vacation in a city. The hotel has amenities of a resort, just at the outskirts of Beijing. Plenty of option to enjoy hot spring. If you enjoy ”traffic jam” in the large restaurant during lunch and evening time, having a package including meals, hot bath and accommodation is a good option. The hotel offers meals 4 times per day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper (midnight meal, just after the hot baths are closed). Little bit noisy and not pleasant rooms if not having windows outside. Good option to have vindows towards outside of hotel, more light and air. Overal good hotel, good service. Some things still need improvement, some refurbishing would be great, but indeed price-service-quality is very good level. And yes, is few minutes from metro station on line 16 (you count some 40 min to arrive downtown).

The hotel room was very basic with no coffee machine and a crappy hair dryer. I tried to use the clothes line in the shower to dry the kid's swim suits, but it didn't reach the other side of the wall and just snapped off in my hand. The staff in the hotel are polite and helpful, but the staff in the hotsprings aren't so nice. I actually chose this hotel because the outside pools looked fun for kids, but it turns out it's part of a separate hotsprings area which isn't free for hotel guests. My husband and 2 month old had to buy a ticket to accompany my eldest and I even though they weren't using the facilities. Then, we only stayed outside for 30 minutes because we were eaten by mosquitoes. Avoid the outdoor hotsprings this time of year unless you don't mind mosquito bites. Extremely disappointed.

Hotel room was great with ample space even for 3.Directly Connected to the hot spring which we can enjoy all day. Hence, you don't have to worry about cold weather. This hotel is near Daxing airport. Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

One of the must-see attractions when bringing children to Beijing is to climb the Great Wall. I went to Badaling Great Wall before, but it was too crowded and steep. Before coming here, my father said that Mutianyu Great Wall had good scenery and few people. I searched for the Great Wall and found that this hotel had particularly good reviews online. It was a stone's throw away from Mutianyu Great Wall and only took 2 minutes to walk. The hotel has a yard with a 24-hour hot spring, which can be soaked at any time. We just finished climbing the Great Wall and wanted to soak in the hot spring to relieve fatigue. We brought the children here. The hostess was warm and thoughtful, making us feel like we were back home. We originally planned to stay for only one night, but everyone didn't want to leave, and happily extended our stay for another night [grin] Stepping into the hotel, the warm and bright lobby is like warmly welcoming our guests from afar. The layout of the lobby is grand and warm, with kittens and various handicrafts suitable for children. Walking into the room, neat and clean is the first impression, and the small decorations in the room are full of ingenuity everywhere. The hotel's dining is even better. The breakfast is rich and varied, whether it is local specialties or common breakfasts, they are all very authentic and nutritionally balanced. Considering that we will definitely miss lunch when climbing the Great Wall, the proprietress also thoughtfully prepared water and dry food for us to eat on the road [Baoquan][Baoquan] Here, every corner is full of humanized care. The hotel's leisure area has a comfortable reading corner, and the gym has all the equipment and is well maintained. If you plan to come to Beijing to climb the Great Wall, I strongly recommend this hotel! 😁
