Fantastic stay at the Treasury Hotel – highly recommend. We had an excellent stay at the Treasury Hotel in Shanghai. The room was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned to a really high standard throughout our stay, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re travelling. The hotel itself feels well looked after and comfortable, and everything worked exactly as it should. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person we dealt with was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. Anytime we needed directions, recommendations, or help figuring out transport, they went out of their way to explain things clearly and make sure we were sorted. Nothing felt like a hassle, and they were always smiling and approachable. The location is also a big plus – very convenient for getting around Shanghai, with shops, food, and transport links nearby. It made exploring the city really easy. Overall, this hotel offers great value, excellent cleanliness, and outstanding service. We’d absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

The location is fantastic!! Cannot beat this location right on nanjing road. Popular eats such as lailai xlb 2 mins walk away. One consideration tho, for people with accessibility challenges the set up of this hotel is a bit strange. Within the same floor, somehow it’s separated into two levels. You need to climb up a narrow staircase to get up to your room for some rooms. This was a bit challenging with the suitcases. Other than that, can’t complain with this location.

Amazing location. A few minutes walk to Nanjing Lu. Very clean room and wonderful service provided by both Yun Lei and Xiao Lei. Would totally recommend this hotel! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Service: Upon arrival at 12PM, front desk staff nicely allowed us to check in early (likely due to availability). She took time to explain the hotel and amenities and gave us a postcard with local attractions. They have a 24/7 WeChat messaging for service. Location: Prime location close to subway line 2 and multiple attractions like People’s Park, Nanjing Road East, shopping plazas. Across the street is a breakfast/lunch restaurant. On the block, there’s multiple food shops and a Family Mart. Nearby are two schools so high traffic during school hours. Room Quality: Very clean room and bathroom. The coat hanger has four hooks. Our room was street facing with large window and blackout and sheer curtains. Toilet had a bidet. Bathroom included a hair dryer, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Big TV but remote controls were in Chinese so tip for foreigners to ask staff how to use.

This old-school five-star hotel under the InterContinental Hotels Group really lived up to its reputation. The location is super convenient, right on Nanjing Road, the 'Paris of the East,' making it easy to check in even after enjoying Shanghai's nightlife. I especially loved the mousse cake at breakfast 🍰, absolutely delicious. The front desk staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, truly exceptional!

Booked a collection executive room and was very happy with my room on the 29th floor with the most perfect view on Shanghai's skyline. Hotel is perfectly located on the Nanjing East road in the very center of Shanghai. Hotel itself and rooms are a bit worn out - need renovation in the nearest future but room was immaculately clean and provided with fresh bottled water every day. Breakfast was very good - both chinese and western. cuisine provided, lot of fruit, pastry and very good coffee. Special thanks to the executive lounge manager Annie who is the most friendly and helpful lady with perfect knowledge of english language. During the happy hours and afternoon tea time Ms. Annie explained clearly all the choices of food served and the beverages.

The location is great, very close to Nanjing Road and super convenient. The BBQ downstairs is delicious too! The only minor drawback is that the room was a tiny bit small, but everything else was perfect. The guy at the front desk was also very helpful; he even enthusiastically helped me look for a package I couldn't find. The service here is truly excellent.

This is my second time staying here. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. They try their best to accommodate us in all aspects. I bought a pair of shoes that would be delivered to the hotel on the next day, I informed the concierge and they thoroughly went through details of the expected parcel to prevent errors and miscommunication with the delivery. The next day when my parcel arrived, the concierge called and make sure the parcel delivering was the correct one for me. As for the house keeping, they noticed that we drank all 4 bottles of complimentary water everyday and from our 3rd day of staying onward they gave us 6 bottles without our request. Not to mention that I accidentally spilled milk over my bed in the rush, I informed the front desk before we headed out and they enthusiastically told me not to worry they would send the house keeper to change my bed sheet right away. In the morning of our last day, Oliver from the front desk called to confirm our check out and informed that hotel’s check out time was twelve noon. They also asked how many luggage we had and what time would we want the concierge to come collect them which I told them to come up around 11am, and at 11am sharp they rang on my door. Oliver from the front desk came along with the concierge, accompanied us down and helped us through the check out process and luggage deposit. Around 1:30 pm when we came back from lunch, our luggage was ready for us to pick up and headed out to the airport.

I was in the area for a business trip, otherwise I wouldn't usually stay near a tourist attraction. After comparing several hotels on Nanjing Road, this one was pretty good. It's close to the subway, the facilities are relatively new, and it has windows. The service was decent. The room was a bit small, but that's acceptable, especially since the price wasn't too high.

Highly recommended! The front desk staff provided excellent service – they were very friendly, helpful, and always ready to answer any questions we had. They even assisted with parcel collection. The overall environment is comfortable, and the location is incredibly convenient. It's within walking distance to Nanjing Road, and about a 10-minute walk to Joy City Jing'an. We stayed in a suite, which was very new and incredibly quiet, making it ideal for families with children. As two adults with two kids, we found the space to be ample and very comfortable. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and friendly, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay and would strongly recommend it!
