My family and I recently stayed at the Licheng Bieyuan (Sanjia Resort) during our road trip, and it completely exceeded our expectations! Tucked away in the outskirts of Pudong, this Suzhou-style garden villa is a true hidden gem, a healing sanctuary right next to the bustling city. Our entire stay was incredibly comfortable, so I couldn't help but write this positive review to share our experience. The moment we stepped into the complex, we were awestruck by the white walls, dark gray roofs, upturned eaves, and winding corridors. The 20,000 square meter garden is beautifully laid out, with rockeries, ponds, and stone slab paths encircling the courtyards. The zigzagging pavilions stand gracefully by the water, and in the evening, the lanterns gradually light up, creating an incredibly atmospheric scene. Every corner is a perfect photo spot. Dressed in simple, light-colored clothes, taking pictures here felt like being in an ancient Jiangnan water town, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The lush greenery provided fresh air and a tranquil, healing atmosphere, truly living up to its reputation as the 'Pudong Back Garden.' The expansive grounds are perfect for leisurely strolls or fishing, and sitting in the tea room is incredibly relaxing. It's suitable for both family trips and team-building outings with friends. The guest rooms combine elegant Chinese design with modern comfort. They are spacious and airy, with solid wood grilles and ink-wash soft furnishings adding a touch of style. The cleanliness was impeccable. The custom mattresses were soft and supportive, and an air purifier was provided. The toiletries were high-quality, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area. Opening the window immediately offered views of the lush courtyard greenery. Upon check-in, we received a fresh welcome fruit platter, and in the evening, there were waffles and milk for a good night's sleep. These thoughtful details made us feel truly cared for. The service team was attentive and meticulous throughout our stay. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and responded to our requests efficiently. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Pudong Airport, and there's ample free parking for those driving to Disneyland or elsewhere. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western pastries.

Full score of five stars! This stay experience exceeded expectations and must be highly recommended. The front desk staff was gentle and welcoming, the check-in and check-out processes were very fast, and there was no delay in the whole process. The room was cleaned very clean, the corners and bathrooms were spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the night was quiet and sleep well. The supporting facilities are complete and easy to use, and there is plenty of hot water. The location is convenient for travel, and it is convenient to eat and go shopping around. The service details are very intimate, there is a timely demand response, the overall price is super high, I will choose this next time, I highly recommend friends who travel to stay!

The room is clean and tidy, and the transportation car service is also very good; the disadvantage is that the height of the building is insufficient and the smoke detector is set too close to the bath room. The above can be improved and it will be better.

Many airport hotels in Pudong are located in nearby villages or towns, and this one is no exception. The family room is on the first floor. The main door is the entrance to the room, and the other wall is a glass door where you can park outside. It's quite close to the airport and offers a wake-up call service. There are quite a few guests staying here. If you're driving, it should be quite convenient. The room size is decent, not cramped but not overly spacious either. With two suitcases open, it feels a bit tight. Overall, the price is still good value.

So many thoughtful details! The only minor issues were the leaky showerhead and the hairdryer breaking on the second setting. Other than that, the disposable towels and toothbrushes were a nice touch, and the hygiene was good. If you're staying here to catch a flight, note that it's quite far from Shanghai Pudong Airport. I had a 5:45 AM flight and made use of the shuttle service.

個人覺得還行，因為半夜到，然後自己打車區的酒店，衞生啥的都還可以，隔音也可以，就是離地鐵站有點遠，其他都還行

Very clean, convenient transportation, super close to the airport, 18 minutes drive, the first choice for catching a plane, and the elevator card is very safe,

Their shuttle bus is free but it works with multiple hotels. The bus will come to T2 Building 3rd floor at Door 25. You can go to T2 Building information desk and they can call the hotel for you and tell you the bus arrival time and its last 4 license plate numbers. This time they gave me a room that was very humid and full of scars on the wall. I had to open the window at night to release all the humid air out of the room. They do have a net covering the window so insects cannot enter the room.

I had an early morning flight to Japan the next day, so I arrived at the regular airport the night before. The hotel offered a free airport shuttle, which was very convenient. It's an older hotel, and you need to bring your own disposable toothbrush and toothpaste. However, it was the cheapest hotel near the airport.
