"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's located right in the heart of the city, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling center. Staying here completely eliminates the hassle of transferring metros. The hotel has a beautiful garden design with lots of greenery, making it very comfortable. And the breakfast is delicious too!"

"The location of the hotel is perfect in the center of gran via where you can enjoy all the shopping u want, the staff were very helpful and friendly, my husband and I enjoyed our stay there ,the only issue was the outside noise but it wasn’t that much of a problem with us."

"The hotel is located in a chaotic area with narrow streets. The metro and bus stops are a 5-minute walk away. Less than 24 hours before check-in, you'll receive an online registration form for your personal information and a lock code. I had no problems checking in. When I checked in, there were no available parking spaces; I was asked to find a spot on the street. The lobby is very pleasant, with a vending machine. The audibility is very high! The noise from the hallway at night was a nuisance, as the front door isn't insulated (even light comes through the bottom crack). Normal conversations and children's shouts were also audible through the walls and ceiling. The amenities were all there, but the lack of a kettle was very disappointing :(( Overall, the room was in good condition, but the painted blue wall was scratched, the automatic curtains didn't work, and the stovetop wasn't working due to a poor power connection. Cleaning was good and done daily, but the staff was only present until 3:00 PM."

"Extremely noisy, the soundproofing is terrible. If you're not a very heavy sleeper, be warned. I'm usually someone who wouldn't wake up even during a thunderstorm, but I stayed here for two nights and woke up once or twice each night. There were always people talking loudly in the hallway, and because the soundproofing was so bad, it felt like they were talking right next to my ear even with earplugs on."

"The hotel's location is super convenient and safe, right opposite the train station. However, the station is huge, so even after arriving from Barcelona to Madrid station, it's still about a 15-minute walk to the hotel. On the flip side, getting around by Metro from the hotel is incredibly easy because the station is right next door. Even taking a taxi (Uber/Bolt) to other places for dinner is quick, usually only about 10-15 minutes. The hotel isn't new; I just prioritized convenience for getting to the airport and exploring shops and restaurants nearby. The lobby is nicer than the rooms, but the rooms are decent and clean, though the air conditioning/ventilation isn't great, and the TV doesn't have screen mirroring, so there's not much to watch. Overall, it's acceptable, but definitely not worth over three thousand dollars per night."

"The hotel was in a good neighbourhood a short walk from the Canal metro line so all the sites were quickly reached. Quite a few bars on the street near the hotel and reasonably priced. Our hotel room was great - v clean and good sized balcony to sit out on. Good breakfast selection. Good staff. Could do with a bar service in the reception but other than that an ideal base for exploring Madrid ."

"1. The fire alarm falsely went off at 3 AM, and then again at 4 AM. This caused my child to cry incessantly, leaving him traumatized; he's now afraid to sleep alone. 2. The paint fumes from the renovations are very strong. 3. The location is very remote. 4. There is no kettle. 5. There is no hairdryer in the room; you have to pay a deposit at the front desk to borrow one."

"The room was very clean, the breakfast was very small and the pool was very small, we expected more variety at breakfast, little bread variety. In check out we reported a safety problem in the pool that seemed very dangerous. Unfortunately the receptionist did not show interest and no one simply “we will report the situation.” We also think that hotel has all the conditions only to be invested in the training of receptionists and maintenance."

SSheneryiThe room was really spacious, and the front desk service was absolutely amazing! Even though my English isn't great, the white guy at the front desk was so handsome and patient! This is a really friendly hotel for Chinese guests! He kept emphasizing how good the breakfast was, and he was right! The breakfast here was the best we had in Madrid! No need to queue for churros – they have them right here at the hotel!!! Super delicious! The hotel is also close to all the attractions and feels very safe. Everyone is so welcoming!

BBenTailThe hotel is nicely located, you can access the heart of the city by foot quite easily. Other than that, I felt like it was way overrated. The bed is large and comfortable but the room is small, the bathroom is like a leaking closet, there is a tiny window with views over the reception and the bar area which means you have absolutely no privacy if the black curtains are not closed. You hear the plumbing very loudly every time someone is using the flush in their room and you hear everything that is happening in the doorway. The electric plugs are out of their socket, the thing to hang your wet towels are broken and falling down every time you're putting your towel. For a 150€/night room, it felt like a scam as everything is very cheap quality. The worst part was the breakfast. 23€ if you pay the same day, 19,50€ if you book the day before. Guys, it's not worth your money ! It's ultra cheap quality. Something you can expect when you pay 10€ but definitely not more than 20€ ! You cannot even order freshly made eggs. It's all industrial products, very low quality and quite frankly not good (the fried potatoes are horrible). No fresh fruit juice, cold cuts are a disgrace for Spain. Nice gym. Small but well equipped. I haven't seen the pool. So yes the hotel looks good from the outside and the inside but I'm expecting they attract people with that, selling themselves as a hip and cool place but charging you way more than the low quality of what they are truly selling. I will not come back for this price.

GGuest UserThe SuperB room I stayed in for a week was spacious and nice, but did it have a courtyard view? Garden views should be avoided at all costs. The sound of the restaurant setting up early in the morning woke me up with a clatter and clang, and I woke up at 6 a.m., and in the evening, I slept wrong until 12 o'clock every night because of the sound of music... .It would have been perfect if it weren’t for this… I recommend changing that window to a soundproof window. The hotel itself was nicely done.

PPink323Hard Rock Hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Atocha station. The entrance has steps, and staff kindly helped with our large luggages when we went inside to ask. The lobby looks trendy and welcoming at check-in. We booked a 4-night stay in a family room for two. Paying extra, we chose family room with two washing basins, as shown on their website and confirmed verbally at check-in. However, the room given had an extra rollaway bed set up and only one basin. After reminding front desk that we didn’t need the extra bed and specifically requested two basins, there was some delay—possibly due to language barriers. Eventually, the front desk agreed to rearrange our room. We appreciated this gesture, though initially the staff seemed reluctant, repeating “it is set up like that” and showing blank faces. I had to be assertive to explain that the extra bed defeats the purpose of paying more for extra space. Hotels should understand that some guests pay extra for bigger rooms without needing extra beds. Flexibility to remove the bed would improve guest experience. If I had known, I might have paid less for a standard room. In the end, they moved us to a room without the extra bed and with two sinks. While the staff handled this without smiles, they were friendly and responsive during the rest of our stay. This was my first time at Hard Rock Hotel, and perhaps cultural differences influenced the front desk’s reaction. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with tea, coffee, and a daily bottle of water. Though bar noise was audible from downstairs, it was not disturbing, and earplugs were provided. Housekeeping was always friendly and smiling. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel has excellent facilities. I’m unsure if I’d return, but the quality of the hardware is good. Hard Rock Hotel 距離 Atocha 車站步行不遠，10分鐘左右就到。門口有樓梯，我哋自行找了員工幫忙提行李入內。行入酒店大堂見時尚形格。 我哋預訂了四晚家庭房，比標準房貴一點因想多一點空間。並經酒店網頁宣傳圖見此房形有兩個洗手盆，我辦理入住時口頭提醒。但入到的房間已有多一張折疊床，且只有一個洗手盆。致電接待我哋二人不需要額外床，且特別要求兩個洗手盆後，因語言障礙可能溝通較慢，前台最終同意調整房間。 我哋感激有安排，但起初員工態度似乎有些抗拒，還說「額外床就是這樣安排的」，臉上毫無表情。我必須堅持解釋，多出來的床反而讓付費多出空間變得無意義。酒店應該理解或有單人住客會想選擇較大空間房形。能夠靈活移除或調整額外床會提升客人體驗。 最後，前台換了沒有額外床且有兩個洗手盆的family room房間。雖然當時處理時員工面無表情，但整體服務期間他們都友好且回應迅速。這是我第一次入住 Hard Rock Hotel，或許文化差異讓前台員工對這類服務顯得不自在。 房間本身寬敞乾淨，配置有茶包、咖啡及每日一支水。雖然能聽到樓下酒吧的聲音，但不影響休息，床邊還有耳塞。客房房務人員總是帶著笑容，非常親切。 總體來說，Hard Rock Hotel 硬體設施優秀，但暫時不確定會否再次入住。

GGuest UserThe room was well-maintained and quite clean, though the bed linens weren't perfect – I hope that can be improved for my next visit. I loved that the room was divided into two separate spaces, so the sleeping and washing areas didn't disturb each other. The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of the museum, and bus route 001 right outside gets you to all the attractions, saving on public transport costs. It's also really convenient for exploring areas around Madrid. The breakfast isn't luxurious but definitely meets basic needs. The decor is minimalist white. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe room was spotless and very tidy, and housekeeping did an excellent job daily. Maybe we were lucky, as we didn't encounter any of the bizarre issues mentioned in other reviews. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful; we arrived at the hotel around 9 AM, and they kindly checked if our room could be prepared early. We were fortunate to get an early check-in. Everything went smoothly! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and highly recommended! There was such a wide variety that it was easy to get overwhelmed and accidentally eat too much. I wasn't hungry for the rest of the day. The yogurt bar left a strong impression: thick yogurt, individual cream cheese balls, and cubed cheese curds, all served with nuts, sunflower seeds, dried plums, and dried dates. You could grab a ceramic bowl and mix and match to your heart's content. One bowl like that would keep me full until evening! 😄😄 It's a shame I didn't take any photos; I honestly forgot. The hotel was very thoughtful, with three coffee and tea stations. There was also a separate area with packaged snacks and drinks; it was really thoughtful for tourists to grab a couple on their way out. I will definitely come back here again when I visit Madrid.

GGuest UserLove the theater theme throughout the hotel. The spiral staircase is a work of art, and the overall atmosphere is very sophisticated and chic. It really stands out from standard chain hotels. On the location: Perfectly situated on Gran Vía! I was able to walk to almost everything. Near Callao, Sol, and the Royal Palace are just minutes away. The reception staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful, which made the stay even better. Many thanks to Roberto and Patricia at the front desk for their exceptional service. Roberto was incredibly helpful with recommendations and arranging luggage storage while I continued my trip to Morocco. Patricia’s warm personality, efficiency, and attention to detail truly stood out from organizing my wake-up call to advising on the best route to the airport to avoid morning traffic. Always kind and smiling, she really makes you feel at home. Lastly, a big thank you to the lady for arranging help with my two large pieces of luggage, and to another gentleman at reception who made my check-out seamless. I forgot their names. But I highly recommend this hotel not only for its excellent location, but also for its stylish art deco and theater-themed rooms, which I find very stylish and defo a nice break from the standard and generic hotel decor standards. Especially the staffs who truly make me feel at home.. Thank you!

Literally a two minute walk to Gran Via street where you can find anything you could possibly need. The staff was polite, the rooms were clean and very quiet at least on the 5th floor :) Overall would recommend and come back again. Gracias Madrid!

AAnonymous UserWe came to the apartment at 3pm (check in time) and found out that a cleaner was still in the mid-way of cleaning. We talked to reception who immediately sent one more cleaner to help and said the apartment would he ready in 10 mins. We got into the apartment like 20 mins later and felt like that the floor might not have been mopped. I stayed there for 5 nights and found that the sole of my slippers were blackened, which always left dirty slipper print in washroom after shower. We had stayed in a 2 bedrooms 2 washrooms apartment. The furnishing however was very strange. While the master bedroom was equipped with 2 single beds placed together, the other small bedroom with only sliding door was with a double bed! My friend stayed in a 2 bedrooms 1 washroom apartment got a much better configuration which is a normal double bedroom and a twin room (as advised in website). Besides, the living room was a bit dark. On the whole, the stay was still fairly satisfactory. Reception staff was polite, helpful and efficient. Provision of basic cooking essentials including oil was good. Stuff in cleaning kit and toilet paper however was inadequate for a long stay. We needed to go to reception (opens only 0900-1700) to get additional supplies. Wish the cleaner would stock the place according to stay duration of the guests. The apartment is situated in a very convenient location. 5 mins to Metro Palos de la Frontera, 10 mins to Atocha train station, 2 mins to Carrefour Express, 7 mins to Lidl supermarket. There is also another big supermarket Dia nearby. Above all, the building provides free luggage storage facilities in 3,4 & 5 floors. You need €1 to operate the locker but you can it back when returning the key. That’s real convenient.
