It is a perfect time of year for those who enjoy the mountains, walking or exploring the surrounding towns & cities. Christmas & New Year are normally sunny & all of the restaurants are open, although most work with reservation on the festive nights. The Spanish celebrate New Year on the street, it begins with spectacular firework displays in every city, town & village & festivity continues well into the next morning. Spring here begins in February with the almond blossom & yellow clover that line the roads.
