Messina Hotels with balcony

"I was given a small single room which was different from what i booked. No staff except on WhatsApp (it was Sunday when I arrived)-. She was quick to respond. At first she said i made the mistake but when i showed the pictures of what i booked, i was given the right room. Good thing also the 1st room had no heating even though card was inserted into the control panel. Self check-in to new room and i had to take new key myself. Zero human contact. 2nd room - Huge room but extremely cold. Floor had beautiful tiles but freezing cold. Hotel didn’t provide slippers. Toilet too small. Bidet blocked the door to the shower. Had to be very careful or else may fall! Location is probably the only positive thing about this hotel. The staff at checkout NOT customer oriented."

"到了酒店是20:30，酒店是個獨立的房子，從外面完全看不出來，窗户的燈都是黑的，也沒名字，大門緊閉，找了兩圈問了邊上的商家才知道就是這裏，按門鈴沒人，衹能找電話聯繫，這期間下起了大雨，被淋透了衹能回到車上打電話，好不容易找到人給我們開了門，一進去一股黴味，裏面很安靜感覺陰森森的，果斷離開，在附近找了另外一家酒店。"

"First of all, the host is kinder and very polite. I contacted before check-in and was able to enter the room smoothly. The room is very clean and fashionable design. Especially the shower room is large and you can spend very comfortable. Thank you for your welcome drink. "Check-in took two minutes, the receptionist was very professional. We got the key and clear instructions to our room, and the wifi password. The room was functional, but good enough for the purposes. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The room's windows faced the water, and we enjoyed seeing the ferry from the balcony when we opened the window. The room also had a working desk which was good, as we needed space to do some computer work. The bathroom amenities were ample, and we had plenty of fresh linen. Breakfast the next morning was a HUGE spread. Among all the hotels we stayed in Sicily, this one had the most food on offer. The waiter at the coffee station was commendable - we ordered a hot chocolate and the effort he put into making the perfect cup just made our day. I want to make a special mention to the lady at reception. I left my passport in the room after we checked out, and didn't realise it until over an hour later. I rang in a state of panic and she calmly reassured me that they had found it and she was holding on to it for me. Despite the slight language barrier, she communicated compassion perfectly. When I reached the hotel, she handed it over with the kindest smile, and that immediately dialled down my stress levels. 5/5 is not high enough for the service rating of this place, I would give them 10/5 if I could. And the lady at the front desk needs a promotion. "

"Unexpected surprise. The boutique hotel it’s located in the center of the city and the rooms are comfortable and extremely clean. The building is a classic Italian historical building with high ceilings and decorations. I must say was a nice experience. Breakfast it’s topical Italian with some intercontinental options."

"Nice homestay near the harbour. Easy to reach and within walking distance from the main spots."

"The room is large, and the ventilation system is good. The host is very helpful and will tell you how to access to the building step by step by phone call. You can also contact her via WhatsApp. Overall it’s good with its location, as it’s located in the city center with a walkable distance to restaurants and train station. However, if you afraid of hot, the room isn’t suitable for you as they don’t have AC. But two fans are in the room which is also ok for us as it’s windy. It’s a shared bathroom apartment, but overall the bathroom is clean because two rooms share one bathroom which is also okay. They will clean the bathroom every morning so overall it’s not bad!"
