"I think this is the best accommodation in Naples! It's a new hotel-hostel, very stylish and beautiful. We even got a welcome drink. The room was cozy with a view. The common areas are really cool, with a gym, billiards, and a cinema. The hotel even has its own app where you can manage and book activities. The staff at the front desk are always helpful and ready to assist. It's conveniently located right next to the train station, just a 5-minute walk. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride to the airport. I definitely recommend it!"

"Staff are excellent, the room is super clean and comfortable but lacks some basic amenities such as a kettle / complimentary bottled water, iron and a few basics. The location near the station can be a little rough but it wasn’t a problem for me but maybe I won’t recommended it for inexperienced travellers. Overall still good value for money"

"It's very close to the hotel from Naples, but the environment along the way is really not good. I can't imagine that this is Italy. Southern Italy is really hard to describe. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and introduced the local attractions. The room was average. The road outside and the exterior wall of the hotel were under renovation. The noise was from early in the morning to the afternoon. The main problem was that the sewer in the bathroom was very smelly."

"The location is absolutely perfect, just in the city center, walking to the National Archaeological Museum, this price is really not required for other places. The hotel is a bit difficult to find, you can locate Rescigno, in a building, the other residents encountered in the building are very enthusiastic. The room facilities are old, but fortunately, the bath towels and bed cover pillowcases are relatively clean. It is best to contact the merchant with WhatsApp, self check-in and check-out."

"Naples is a dirty place, but this hotel is clean and tidy. It is located between important attractions and transportation hubs in Naples, and it is also convenient to go to the beach. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also very good. There is an observation deck on the roof, where you can easily see Mount Vesuvius, the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Very cost-effective, recommended"

"We loved the Santa Chiara. We arrived late at night and it was a little hard to find, but I guess that is all part of the charm! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and the location is unbeatable for the Centro Storico area. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely stay again."

"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!"

"Except for the inconvenient transportation, everything else is very satisfactory. Of course, the inconvenience of transportation is exchanged for unbeatable sea views and fascinating rooftop dining scenery. The hotel rooms are large, with great views, great blackout facilities and good soundproofing. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but I had lunch in the restaurant on the top floor. The sun was shining on me, and I had lunch with the seagulls. I looked at the Castel dell’Ovo nearby and Mount Vesuvius in the distance, and all I could see was the Mediterranean Sea. The food provided by the hotel is also very delicious. The octopus salad I ordered was very satisfying."
