"I think this is the best accommodation in Naples! It's a new hotel-hostel, very stylish and beautiful. We even got a welcome drink. The room was cozy with a view. The common areas are really cool, with a gym, billiards, and a cinema. The hotel even has its own app where you can manage and book activities. The staff at the front desk are always helpful and ready to assist. It's conveniently located right next to the train station, just a 5-minute walk. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride to the airport. I definitely recommend it!"

"The hotel is 4-star and offers good value for money; the breakfast is normal. Although it's close to the Duomo metro station, the surrounding area feels somewhat dangerous, with many homeless people, so I didn't dare go home at night. The first night, the toilet didn't flush, but thankfully the staff fixed it immediately."

"We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!"

"It was terrible, and was stolen at the hotel for 600 euros. We were very careful all the way, the ID wallets were all placed in the hotel safe, and on the last day we were leaving, we took them out, a wallet in a schoolbag and one in my coat pocket. Then I thought about going downstairs for breakfast. As a result, after returning to the house after breakfast, I didn't notice it, put on my clothes and picked up the bag and left. As a result, it was not long before I was out of the hotel to refuel the car. I found that the wallet was still in the coat, but the money was gone. A quick look at the school bag found that the wallet in the school bag was also there, but the money was not seen for a total of 600 euros. Because I was in a hurry to catch the train, I couldn't go back or report the case. I have read it carefully. It should be during breakfast that we reported the room number in the restaurant. "The room is big enough to ride a bike. The outside is quite desolate. There are many warehouses and building materials markets run by Chinese people. Seeing the national flag makes me feel at ease."

The hotel rooms are large, with great views, great blackout facilities and good soundproofing. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but I had lunch in the restaurant on the top floor. The sun was shining on me, and I had lunch with the seagulls. I looked at the Castel dell’Ovo nearby and Mount Vesuvius in the distance, and all I could see was the Mediterranean Sea. The food provided by the hotel is also very delicious. The octopus salad I ordered was very satisfying."

"Since I chose a hotel near the airport, I didn't set high expectations. The view from the rooftop was quite nice, offering a partial panoramic view of Naples. I was a bit tired of looking for food out that night, so I decided to eat at the hotel. The steak I ordered was like rubber bands, so I returned it. The food was absolutely terrible, and I was hungry all night. This hotel is in such a remote location, and the €11 citytl tax is a rip-off. I'm disgusted by all the high fees in Naples."
