Furano Hotels with balcony

"We recently stayed at Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel and had a very enjoyable experience overall. The hotel exceeded our expectations in many aspects, and I would like to commend the team for providing such a comfortable and welcoming stay. One of the biggest highlights was the thoughtful range of complimentary amenities. Having free washing machines and dryers was incredibly convenient, especially for travellers on longer trips. The onsen was clean, relaxing and well maintained, and we appreciated the complimentary green tea, roasted green tea, lemon water and drinking water available outside the onsen, which made the experience even more refreshing. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist whenever we had questions, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Our room was spacious, quiet and very well equipped. The kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare simple meals. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel had already prepared a proper bed for the third person in our group before our arrival. The refrigerator included a freezer compartment, which was particularly useful for storing ice cream and frozen food that we purchased during our trip. We also appreciated that complimentary coffee and tea were available throughout our stay. One of the most memorable experiences was the daily complimentary wine tasting during happy hour. As an added bonus, the hotel also provided us with a voucher to redeem a complimentary bottle of wine at Furano Winery, which was a wonderful gesture and a unique way to showcase the local winery. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I hope the hotel will consider a few areas for improvement. The hotel's location is slightly away from central Furano, so having a car is highly recommended. This was not a major issue for us, but guests relying on public transport may find it less convenient. The parking arrangement could also be improved. The car park is located about a three-minute walk uphill from the hotel. While the distance itself is manageable, the walking path consists of loose stones without a proper pavement. At night, the area is very dark, and during rainy weather, it can become slippery and potentially hazardous, particularly for elderly guests or those with mobility issues. Additional lighting and a paved walkway would greatly improve both safety and accessibility. Lastly, although breakfast was enjoyable, we found the selection somewhat limited compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Furano. For example, during our previous stay at La Vista Furano, the breakfast offered a wider variety of Japanese specialties, including fresh sashimi and Furano melon, as well as complimentary late-night soba, which created a more memorable dining experience. At Furano Winery Hitohana, the breakfast leaned more towards Western offerings. Expanding the selection of local Japanese dishes and regional specialties would further enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these suggestions, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend Furano Winery Hitohana Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious and comfortable accommodation in Furano. The generous complimentary amenities, excellent service and thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit such an enjoyable one."

"The hotel was very comfortable, felt upscale, and was immaculately clean. However, the sofa felt a bit itchy when I checked in. I'm allergic to dust mites, so it might be because the sofa was too dusty. Something to keep in mind. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely consider staying in their hotel group next time."

"Location of hotel is very good with beautiful view and many eateries serving good food. Driving to attractions is convenient. The room we booked is spacious with mini kitchen and washer/dryer. We loved the room. The only great inconvenience is parking at hotel is limited, only 5 lots. Had to park at the designated carpark which is away from hotel, it was dark and deserted with stairs that looks like ******* place."

"The staff and service were very nice. They planned my taxi trip from the hotel to Farm Tomita and then to the airport so I could spend time in the lavender fields. Another great thing to mention is their excellent English skills, and they also speak German, Korean, and Chinese. This is just what I observed personally. They booked a great dinner for me and contacted me via WhatsApp. Thanks! The room was clean, modern, and comfy. Nothing more to say. I am pretty picky (having always stayed in 5-star hotels only), but I can say that this one is probably the best in this geographically remote area, as there are no 5-star options that would satisfy my taste"

"The surrounding environment is quiet, the house is well-equipped, the place is clean, the space is large enough, the children have enough space to play, and the adults can have a rest space. The overall feeling is comfortable for the occupants and a good opportunity to relax!"

"The hotel is a bit remote, located on a mountain, so it's more convenient if you're driving. I booked two nights, but for some reason, the reservation stated we had to switch rooms halfway through our stay. I asked the front desk if they could arrange for us to stay in the same room type so we wouldn't have to move, but the hotel refused. The room type was good and quite spacious, with a lovely view of the lavender garden. During our stay, the hotel announced that the restaurant would be closed for dinner in the evenings, so we had no choice but to eat out. Fortunately, the hotel's breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of choices – definitely a plus!"

"Good location with very new facility. The rooms are clean. It will be fantastic if there are bath tubs. I guess the skiers will like them even more. Overall very quite place in low season (right before the ski season starts). Good value for money at this time. PS. We are the only unit occupied for the entire building during our stay. Haha ..."

"Very close to Furano Kitanomine Ski Resort, less than 5 minutes walk The three of us rented a bedroom room (2 floors plus attic), room 101, on the first floor is a double bed room and toilet, on the second floor is the living room, kitchen, washing area/washing machine and bathroom, the attic has another For a mattress, you need to climb a steep ladder from the kitchen area. After the ladder is placed, the door near the washing machine area cannot be closed, which is a bit strange The kitchen is not big, but the equipment is quite complete. There are electric kettles, electric rice cookers, microwave ovens, pots, tableware, trash cans that need to be sorted, and garbage is collected after 10 o'clock every day The washing machine is a combination of washing and drying, but it takes 4 hours to wash and dry. The clothes can be hung in the area above the washing machine and dry in one night. There is washing powder under the sink, which is very convenient The bathroom is large, the door can be closed, but there is no place to put clothes"

"First of all, the staff is really good. We waited for a long time at the door. The staff was very kind to explain the equipment of the house. There are interesting places around. There is a big supermarket in 5 minutes by car from the hotel. The restaurant is very convenient. The hotel feels at home, clean and comfortable. I will stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity."
