"I had an absolutely fantastic time at La Vista Furano Hills! The location is superb — just a short walk from Furano Station and within easy reach of restaurants, shops, and local attractions, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and well-designed, with comfortable and cozy rooms that made coming back after a day of sightseeing so relaxing. The onsen facilities were a highlight — both the public and private hot springs are beautifully maintained, and soaking with views of the surrounding mountains was unforgettable. *********** I also loved the extra thoughtful touches: complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby, free late-night ramen, and even massage chairs made our stay feel truly special. "I've stayed here twice and the staff are quite helpful and have a pleasant vibe. The breakfast is really great, with so many options for a small hotel. I'll probably stay again. This place is about one and a half km from the furano ski resort (both bases) so it's best if you have a car but there are shuttles. The rooms are decent with excellent ventilation and heating and a very functional but small bathroom with a tub. My only complaints is that the mattresses are well worn & in the newer wing the smoking area is positioned in a way that lets smoke permeate most of the building - it should either be in another location or with ventilation because a lot of the guests don't smoke at all and the passive smoke air is gross."

"Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need. There's space under the bed for luggage, so even the most basic room, despite being small, doesn't feel cramped. There's a decently long and wide desk for putting things on, and the windowsill is also quite wide, so you can draw the curtains and use it to display your souvenirs for photos. The wardrobe area for hanging clothes is also very spacious and deep! Even though the room isn't big, the bathroom is still plenty spacious and doesn't feel tight. We went to the hot springs an hour before closing, but it was still incredibly clean and tidy. Even if the parking spots in front of the hotel are full, there are other parking options available for guests."

"Very good ski and out hotel. Slope is just right beside and rental and equipment lockers are just in the basement of the hotel. Room is spacious. But do note that in winter, only centralise heater for the room, no aircon. Room was too hot, even after opening the window, had to request a fan. Onsen bath is good. Food choices are a little limited if your hotel package doesn't include breakfast and dinner, its cost quite abit. There isn't any nearby restaurants to eat. Nearest supermarket and town area is a 10mins bus ride but the limited time slot bus. [I went in April, its spring season so they cut down alot of bus timing.] At the lobby, theres a shop like a combination of mini mart and souvenirs shop. There's many things to look at in there."

"I was lucky enough to have a room on the top floor which offered great views of the town and some of the mountain. The room was large and easy to negotiate with a small ensuite bathroom. The fridge and large tv made it even more comfortable after a long day on the slopes. There is a good size lobby with plenty of options to relax and unwind Infront of a fireplace and a small in hotel shop to buy assorted foods and other items. The staff are fantastic, so helpful and understanding to my request, allways greeting me with a smile and warm hello."

"Conveniently located. Walking distance to Furano JR Station. Ample free parking for those who drive. Free use of spa. Spa (artifical onsen) is well kept. Clean. Smooth, no fuss check-in/check-out. For muslim travellers, halal food is a challenge. Our hotel stay comes with breakfast. We opted for Japanese set. Ate only the seafood that was provided for breakfast. We also brought along RTE Kembara meals for our dinner. Bought bread, bananas from nearby COOP/ 7-11 as our on the go meals for our day trips out frok Furano."

"Stayed two nights at this hostel. The room was clean and quite spacious. We were a little surprised that we had to put on the bed sheet liners ourselves, but we understood that it is part of the hostel’s culture and regulations, so it was fine for us. The shared toilets were clean and well maintained for all guests. However, the main disappointment was that the hostel’s air conditioning was not working properly on the second night, unlike the first night. The room became very humid and stuffy, making it difficult for us to fall asleep even after informing the hostel reception."

"The hotel offers complimentary alcoholic beverages daily. The breakfast is quite good, especially with the wide variety of milk options. The room is spacious and very new. The only downside is that the parking lot is a bit far, so I recommend dropping off your luggage first before parking, as dragging it through the snow in winter can be a hassle. The hotel is close to Kitanomine Ski Resort, and there's a shuttle bus available in the morning."

"Wonderful room. Spacious by Japanese standards, and everything was spotless; you can see the pride taken by the staff in ensuring that the property is well-maintained and kept clean and tidy. Free parking spaces are located just at the hotel's doorstep, but limited spots are available. Having access to a the free washer and dryer was wonderful, although do be mindful that the drying time is minimally 1.5 hours, and thicker clothes might still be slightly damp. However, we hung them up to air-dry in our room overnight without any issues. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommended hotel in this beautiful area."

"Very spacious room sit in the unique nature. Room is a bit moldy, wished the wall was cleaned up a bit. Curtain is not well shaded, when sun rise at 4am, it gets really bright. Bed is not comfortable, and bath gel and shampoo needs a better quality in the onsen."

We were here scouting a bit for the coming winter and really liked the location very close to the slopes and also a few restaurants a short walk away. Downside perhaps that no Lawson or similar in the immediate surroundings but maybe there was some other minimart around the lift station. Just spent a night here so not much time to drift around the area. Easy parking in front, fast check in and a kind offering to help haul the suitcases upstairs. Hotel is in super good shape, felt almost brand new. Nice public area with couches and a fireplace. Room was good size and comfortable for 3 but especially for a ski resort it really lacked storage for clothes. Could easily have fit something under the bunk bed. Also in the bath theres no place to hang towels or clothes, just a really tiny foldable drying rack. Room fridge was not cooling either and pretty small. Breakfast was set menu and nice for this stay but for winter I would rather have a buffet to load up for a day on the mountain. Might be though they change for winter and i realize that buffet may not be a sustainable option for low season and few guests. All in all it was a good stay and we will definitely keep this in mind for the next visit to Furano 👍🏼

This hotel is located in a ski resort area and offers complimentary parking for guests. The hotel is well-maintained and clean, with plenty of space. The large public bath is conveniently located next to the lobby and is open until late night. The lobby also offers local Furano wine during specific hours, and you can even make your own pour-over coffee. On the day we checked in, it was raining heavily, and there was no cover outside the main entrance. It was a bit inconvenient to get out of the car with luggage, and I hope this can be improved.

I had a wonderful stay at Chalet Burlap Furano (yes, this is their official name on Google map) and enjoyed their hospitality! The host is very friendly and kindly recommended what to do and visit in Furano. I had a great experience exploring Furano with Motorbike, recommended by my host Kuen! It is warm and cozy hostel and also got music shows after 9pm. Highly recommended!!

1. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kitanomine ski resort, just across the street. Ski rentals are available directly at the hotel, and there's a very enthusiastic young man from Taiwan who works there. The prices are also the cheapest, highly recommended. 2. Transportation: There's a direct bus from New Chitose Airport that stops right at the hotel entrance, making it a seamless journey. The bus stop for Biei and Asahikawa is directly opposite the hotel's main entrance, with a direct Lavender Bus service that accommodates luggage. 3. Dining: We booked breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has a 1-hour limit, and dinner has a 90-minute limit. Both breakfast and dinner were very rich and plentiful. Dinner even included BBQ, though the dishes didn't change daily. Beer and sake were all-you-can-drink. 4. Entertainment: The hotel offers free 24-hour beverage machines. There are also scheduled times daily for roasted marshmallows, baked potatoes, cookies, and beer time, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also a children's play area. 5. Room: We had a triple room. The room wasn't very big and was a bit dated, but the heating was excellent. 6. Onsen (Hot Spring): There are two pools, one at room temperature and one at 40 degrees Celsius. It was quiet and not crowded.

First, Trip.com needs an update. This hotel doesn't have bathtubs in all rooms, even though the website says they do. However, I wasn't planning on checking out when I arrived, so I stayed and ended up using the large baths both nights. This is a very old-fashioned inn, so the price is quite reasonable. It's just a little dated. I saw a lot of Japanese people staying there, and it's actually quite down-to-earth. 😂 I highly recommend it for those traveling by car. There aren't many accommodation options in Furano, and there aren't many shopping malls or convenience stores nearby. It's recommended to buy something and then take it home.
