"This onsen hotel offers fantastic natural hot spring services. It has an open-air bath, perfect for soaking and stargazing at night. If you visit in winter, you can even enjoy the snow while bathing. Private baths are also available as an option. The triple room was quite spacious, with three very comfortable beds. The room's functional areas were clearly separated, making it very convenient and comfortable to use. The hotel is close to Furano Station; you can see it right after exiting the station and it's a straightforward 3-4 minute walk. While there isn't a bustling commercial area nearby, you can find suitable restaurants and supermarkets. To get to the 7-Eleven, you'll need to cross the pedestrian overpass in front of the hotel."

"I took the ”Furano Biei Romantic Flower Tour” sightseeing bus at 8 AM, enjoyed the journey, and arrived at the last stop, the Shin Furano Prince Hotel's Ningle Terrace, around 4 PM. I got off there and checked directly into the Prince Hotel. This was a pre-planned arrangement based on my detailed research, saving me money, time, and hassle. After checking in, I booked the 8 PM buffet and then headed to the famous Garden of Wind. The scenery along the way was absolutely beautiful, and I even saw two deer. However, the Garden of Wind was a bit far from the hotel; it took me about an hour to walk there and back. By the time I got there, it was already closed, so I could only walk around the outside of the wire fence (which seemed to be electrified) to admire the small Garden of Wind. Then I returned to Ningle Terrace to continue my interrupted exploration. Since it was still early, I sat down for a coffee at the ”Mori no Tokei” (Forest Clock) cafe before leisurely heading back to the hotel. The evening buffet was incredibly rich, featuring hand-rolled sushi and king crab legs. I ordered a carafe of sake and slowly savored my dinner. After dinner, I went to Shisai-no-Yu to enjoy the hot spring. The next morning, I had planned to take the nearby cable car up the mountain for sightseeing, but there was fog on the mountain, and I knew I wouldn't see anything, so I gave up. Instead, I returned to the hotel and enjoyed another hot spring. After checking out, I took the Asahikawa Line bus to Furano Station to continue my journey. If the timing is right, taking this Asahikawa Line bus is very convenient as it can take you to Furano, or Nakafurano, Kamifurano, Biei, and finally to Asahikawa. However, the buses are infrequent, with only about one every hour. You'll need to check their timetable. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and the fare from the hotel to Furano Station is 260 yen."

"The hotel is a bit remote, located on a mountain, so it's more convenient if you're driving. I booked two nights, but for some reason, the reservation stated we had to switch rooms halfway through our stay. I asked the front desk if they could arrange for us to stay in the same room type so we wouldn't have to move, but the hotel refused. The room type was good and quite spacious, with a lovely view of the lavender garden. During our stay, the hotel announced that the restaurant would be closed for dinner in the evenings, so we had no choice but to eat out. Fortunately, the hotel's breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of choices – definitely a plus!"

"This was my second stay at Edel Warme, my previous one being in 2024. Both times were excellent. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable (my husband and I each had a bed, leaving the other two beds for clothes and luggage). What I particularly love is the hotel lobby's decor and setup. Every day after skiing, I'd sit by the fireplace in the Lobby Lounge, enjoying a coffee and relaxing. This visit brought back those wonderful memories from two years ago. Although, the lobby decor has changed; it's now more youthful and vibrant, moving away from its previous elegant and understated style. The breakfast has also seen quite a few changes. There are fewer options than before, but the food is much more refined and unique, tasting delicious. They also offer many local Furano specialties, including sauces and jams, which was very satisfying. This time I only stayed for two nights. The staff informed me that they wouldn't clean the room (which I agreed with). If I wanted to use the onsen, I needed to bring towels from my room, and fresh towels for the second day would be left outside the door. However, after skiing on the second day, I found no towels outside my door. Luckily, I had brought my towel back to the room after my first onsen visit, as there was no designated spot to collect towels in the onsen area. Despite this, I still really love Edel Warme, so I'm giving it a perfect score."

"Lovely front desk service staff, mostly. They willingly offered to let me check in an hour earlier as the room is already cleaned and ready - something which most other hotels refuse to do at zero fee. Excellent location close to the Furano train/bus station, with a supermart and a pharmacy close by. And an awesome lamb shabu place at the back of the hotel. "1. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kitanomine ski resort, just across the street. Ski rentals are available directly at the hotel, and there's a very enthusiastic young man from Taiwan who works there. The prices are also the cheapest, highly recommended. 2. Transportation: There's a direct bus from New Chitose Airport that stops right at the hotel entrance, making it a seamless journey. The bus stop for Biei and Asahikawa is directly opposite the hotel's main entrance, with a direct Lavender Bus service that accommodates luggage. 3. Dining: We booked breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has a 1-hour limit, and dinner has a 90-minute limit. Both breakfast and dinner were very rich and plentiful. Dinner even included BBQ, though the dishes didn't change daily. Beer and sake were all-you-can-drink. 4. Entertainment: The hotel offers free 24-hour beverage machines. There are also scheduled times daily for roasted marshmallows, baked potatoes, cookies, and beer time, which the kids really enjoyed. There's also a children's play area. 5. Room: We had a triple room. The room wasn't very big and was a bit dated, but the heating was excellent. 6. Onsen (Hot Spring): There are two pools, one at room temperature and one at 40 degrees Celsius. It was quiet and not crowded."

"2nd time staying at this hotel. Location is a few km from town centre, but not an issue if you are driving as it takes only a few minutes. Room is spacious and clean. Lounge service provided for all staying guests, which included manual DIY grinding coffee and local wine. A pity this time round, breakfast does not serve Dutch Baby (pancake with DIY toppings), which we truly enjoyed during the last visit."

"The staff and service were very nice. They planned my taxi trip from the hotel to Farm Tomita and then to the airport so I could spend time in the lavender fields. Another great thing to mention is their excellent English skills, and they also speak German, Korean, and Chinese. This is just what I observed personally. They booked a great dinner for me and contacted me via WhatsApp. Thanks! The room was clean, modern, and comfy. Nothing more to say. I am pretty picky (having always stayed in 5-star hotels only), but I can say that this one is probably the best in this geographically remote area, as there are no 5-star options that would satisfy my taste"

"Overall a good stay. Would recommend. Only thing is that there are limited car park lots at the hotel. They have an additional car park which is a short stroll away, do expect that you have to park at the offsite carpark."
