Geneva Hotels with Bars

"Knowing that every year, June is summertime in this location, yet the air conditioner is effectively not working at all. The room is so cramped and small, with a good AC, it will cool the hot room really fast. Our room unit control Air flow is set to max & lowest temperature yet - its HOT & HUMID the whole night. Couldn't get a good sleep at all. What are we paying for then ??? This is the ONLY point that caused the whole rating to be real bad."

"The location is excellent and it only takes 3 minutes to walk to the exhibition venue. Very close to the airport, very convenient. There is a bus stop next to the hotel that takes you to the city center. Very convenient! The breakfast in the lobby is also quite delicious."

"Very nice room, the view from the room is gorgeous. The hallway from lift to rooms smell really bad, heavy smell of smoking cigarettes. The location is behind Palexpo. Not clear enough how to get there or how to get to from the Hotel to Palexpo. A crucial sign is missing when you have split route without sign which path to follow. From Palexpo I took a taxi to the the hotel. But that was a waist if the direction was clear."

"The pluses: - very practical from the airport. - close to tram lines 14 and 18, bringing you straight into downtown (Bel Aire) in less than 20 mins. - modern. - they took the time to print our free public transportation passes upon check-in as we never received them via email before check-in. Areas of improvement: - breakfast - there is not enough staff working the floor so many stations are empty. Coffee machines often do not have milk and it is not replenished. Also, it is exactly the same breakfast days and days - introducing some variety would be nice. - initial bedroom was not clean - hair where on the bed, stain on one of the bedding, strong unpleasant smell- we were able to be moved to different room easily. - bed - it is not a queen/king bed but just two simple beds put next to each other. I am surprised that such a hotel would not have bedrooms with one queen/king bed. The big let down: - poor communication and lack of proactivity of front desk. The day of departure, we scheduled a shuttle for the airport. We were informed that the shuttle was running late and it would be better to take the city bus. Sadly, the time schedule at the hotel was incorrect. When we arrived at the bus station, we decided to go back to the hotel and then we learned that the shuttle left on time without us. What is the point to ask for information if no one reach out to ensure we are ready for the shuttle. Long story, it was a succession of poor communication between front desk and driver and sadly, the front desk is not empowered to make any decision so no solution was offered to us. At the end, we decided to take the city bus and we barely make our connection between of it. Not impressed … Solution - empower your front desk to make decisions and offer solution to guests. For this reason, based on that final negative impression, I would suggest others to be very careful and look for other options where associates can take decisions and solve issues to make customers happy and want to come back."

"Tony was very helpful, providing tips on Geneva's transportation and attractions. The room had a large bathroom. I didn't bring a universal adapter, but thankfully there was a Type-C port available. However, the plastic cups provided didn't seem to be suitable for hot drinks."

"Clean hotel, nice rooms and the hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's not in the centre but you can get there in about 20mins in total including the walk to/from the hotel and the bus or tram."

"Excellent location with regular shuttles to and from the airport and easy transport connections into Geneva. Friendly staff and reception team who gave us a print out of transport to take and explained it very clearly. Free coffee in hotel reception too which was a bonus. Rooms were very spacious,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, fresh pastries, cereal, yoghurts and some hot food. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend."

"Great location, quiet and close to Geneva by light train (15 min and coming every 4-5 min). Great hotel, clean and beautiful modern rooms. Great friendly staff. Great amenities (Sauna and Gym). Would have been great if there was a pool ;) and some heavier weight at the gym (22 kgs dumbbells max)"

"Super great location, right next to the train station and it’s the centre of Geneva. Helpful staff and the cafe there is super nice. The only thing is I have already requested a room facing inward but still the noise from the traffic is loud since early morning."

"Right next to Geneva train station, the location is unbeatable! It only takes 5 minutes to get to the platform to catch a train. Buses and trams are all around, making it super convenient to go anywhere. There's a Burger King right across the street, and McDonald's is just a quick walk across the road on the pedestrian street. They sent an email in advance for check-in info, but it seems they didn't send the Geneva City Card beforehand; you have to ask for it upon arrival. However, it didn't matter since I had a Swiss Travel Pass. The room was quite spacious and had a bathtub. It seemed to have central air conditioning, as it didn't feel hot at all even staying in the middle of summer in June. Overall, great value for money!"
