"Compared to other Marriott brands, Courtyard is a bit simpler, as expected. Overall, it's a decent business hotel – no surprises, no disappointments. However, the underground parking is a nightmare. It's all mechanical parking, and the lighting is terrible. A new driver like me almost blew out a tire! I ended up moving my car to a surface spot right by the entrance."

"We chose Club Med Anji this time and were very satisfied. Our GRO, Lilian, contacted us in advance, arranged a room upgrade, and consistently checked on our needs and informed us about the activity schedule. She even gave us a small gift at checkout, which was a lovely touch. We're very grateful. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, and the shower pressure was a little low, but everything else was excellent. The hotel environment is nice, and breakfast was quite rich. The evening activities were particularly enjoyable for the children, and the staff were incredibly patient and enthusiastic with them throughout – we were very impressed. The kids also loved the small zoo next door; it even felt like the animals were very friendly, coming right up to people. Anji is really quite good. It seems there's no comparable place in the North China region. It just goes to show how developed the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai areas are."

"This guesthouse/hotel has a lot of character. The rooms and common areas are quite spacious. Parking and EV charging are very convenient. The owner even offered to drive us to and from skiing the next day. After checking out, the owner also gave us a lovely souvenir (a seasonal local snack from Anji)."

"I booked a 'Wangshan Building Deluxe Twin Room' at Wangshan Yunju for two nights for 998 yuan. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel's overall service was excellent, and its mountain-side location offered beautiful surroundings. My only complaint was the complimentary travel photoshoot – the photographer (a woman) had an extremely poor attitude and was very disrespectful. While it was a free perk, it left a very bad impression on guests. I hope the hotel will be more selective with its partner services."

"Traveling with kids was so easy and stress-free. A big thank you to our thoughtful butler, Xingzi, who warmly welcomed us, helped us check in, and even escorted us back to our room. She also thoroughly explained all the important tips for the cable car and various scenic spots. In the morning, we explored Yunshang Grassland, and in the afternoon, we planned to go rafting. We didn't even have to go to the front desk to pick up tickets; Xingzi proactively delivered both the tickets and room cards to our room, which saved us so much hassle. Knowing our child was going rafting, she even kindly prepared water guns, and our little one had an absolute blast! The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish!"

"This is a very comfortable resort hotel. Staying here feels like being transported to Thailand or Bali. The butler was absolutely amazing; by coincidence, we even shared the same birthday, and they surprised me with a small cake on my special day! Overall, the hotel service was incredibly attentive and responsive to every request, which is exactly the standard you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The SPA was especially comfortable; I highly recommend everyone staying here to try the Thai massage! The Ziva front desk staff, especially the lady, was very patient and positive! It made for a very pleasant experience! I had two consecutive days of spa treatments with Sunny and Yuna, who massaged me and my family. They were absolutely fantastic, I felt they were even better than many foreign masseuses! Full five-star rating!"

"I visited Tianhuangping once before and couldn't forget its breathtaking scenery. This time, I chose Wujie Shanyin B&B, and it exceeded my expectations! The front desk lady was so gentle and helpful, assisting with luggage, water, and ice. The room and all public areas were very clean, and there's coffee and other drinks available! Plus, it's pet-friendly! Finally, I got to bring my furry friend along, and they were so happy running around from the moment we arrived 😊😊 The absolute best part was the incredible starry sky viewing balcony at night! I walked back to the room and was wondering if the umbrella was going to be in the yard. I saw an umbrella device. Good design is to integrate into life habits, help you peel off those flashy things, always have preparation where you need it."

A true hidden gem in Anji, the Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort feels like stepping aboard a luxury liner that has quietly anchored itself in a world of bamboo forests and still, reflective waters. The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it. A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on. Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable."

"Looking for a getaway near Suzhou, I chose Anji based on a friend's recommendation. First off, the location is great; there are plenty of restaurants just a few minutes' drive away, and it's close to all the attractions. The service was excellent – they provide a butler for easy communication, and there are activities like Hanfu experiences, though I didn't have time to try them. The main highlight is truly the room environment; stepping inside, you're greeted with lush greenery, which is incredibly pleasant. It's well-equipped with a large bathtub and a balcony, and facilities are complete, even including a handwritten card. Going during the off-season felt fantastic, with fewer people and less noise. I only stayed one night, but it left me with a lingering feeling of wanting to return. However, I felt the breakfast selection was quite limited. Despite the beautiful restaurant setting, it primarily offered noodles, wontons, plain congee, eggs, sweet potatoes, and a few simple vegetable dishes (which weren't very tasty). The Western-style options mentioned in the description were also missing. The downstairs bar closed quite early; I came back after dinner a little past 9 PM hoping for a nightcap. Still, the staff were very kind and even brought beer down to the tables outside for us, which was very thoughtful. Overall, I feel it was well worth it, and I'd love to go again."
