"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a mall with plenty of dining and shopping options. Anna at the front desk was very efficient during check-in, and her service attitude was great. I especially want to mention the breakfast – it had a rich variety of dishes and tasted good. The dry-tossed noodles (gan tiao mian) deserve a special shout-out, they were delicious. I do have a small suggestion: the toppings could be improved, maybe add more meat options. That would make it perfect for us meat lovers!"

Hotel near Jiangnan Tianchi/Tianhuangping,Anji
Nestled in Daxi, Tianhuangping Town, Anji, Zhejiang Province, our hotel sits right next to Yucun Village, the birthplace of the “Two Mountains” Theory. Blessed with unparalleled ecological surroundings, it boasts a wealth of natural and cultural resources including mountains, mountain streams, bamboo forests, tea plantations and hot springs. Perched atop mountain ridges and hidden deep within vast bamboo woods, this secluded valley sanctuary calms the mind and purifies the soul, offering boundless peace and serenity. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, guests can indulge in a peaceful natural retreat. It is an ideal destination for leisure getaways, corporate conferences and team-building events.

"Looking for a getaway near Suzhou, I chose Anji based on a friend's recommendation. First off, the location is great; there are plenty of restaurants just a few minutes' drive away, and it's close to all the attractions. The service was excellent – they provide a butler for easy communication, and there are activities like Hanfu experiences, though I didn't have time to try them. The main highlight is truly the room environment; stepping inside, you're greeted with lush greenery, which is incredibly pleasant. It's well-equipped with a large bathtub and a balcony, and facilities are complete, even including a handwritten card. Going during the off-season felt fantastic, with fewer people and less noise. I only stayed one night, but it left me with a lingering feeling of wanting to return. However, I felt the breakfast selection was quite limited. Despite the beautiful restaurant setting, it primarily offered noodles, wontons, plain congee, eggs, sweet potatoes, and a few simple vegetable dishes (which weren't very tasty). The Western-style options mentioned in the description were also missing. The downstairs bar closed quite early; I came back after dinner a little past 9 PM hoping for a nightcap. Still, the staff were very kind and even brought beer down to the tables outside for us, which was very thoughtful. Overall, I feel it was well worth it, and I'd love to go again."

"The whole homestay is fresh and elegant, and the atmosphere is full one step at a time. The house building is cleverly integrated into the mountains and the interior layout is soft and comfortable, and it is particularly relaxing in it. It is a great place to escape the city and calm down. The overall positioning is very distinctive, the architectural scenery, courtyard view, soft decoration of the guest room and even the lighting details have been carefully designed, and all aspects are impeccable. The boss is very caring and takes the initiative to upgrade the room type for us for free, and the goodwill is directly full. There is a heart-shaped swimming pool in the backyard, and the children have fun in the water. There are also washing machines and dryers. The homestay originally did not provide dinner. The store was very enthusiastic. The aunt also shared her own home-cooked meals with us. The authentic home-cooked taste was very amazing. Originally planned to stay for one more night, but unfortunately the listing was full on Saturday and I couldn't do my wish. I must book in advance next time I travel!"

"The hotel lady is very nice, polite and welcoming. As they saw that I was pregnant, they offered to help carry our bags to our room. The view from the room is lovely. Bathtub on the balcony is relaxing and can enjoy the nice view at the same time. I read some reviews about bugs. This homestay is in the middle of nature, so naturally you can expect bugs to be around. We were lucky with only one flying bug in our bedroom. Some minor things, like the door handle of the bathroom door wasn’t securely fastened and the bathtub leaked a bit. But it was nothing major. The pool could maybe use a bit of a shady area, as it gets quite hot on sunny days and there is nowhere to relax in the pool in the shade. This is just a tip. We enjoyed the pool either way. There is a wonderful view from the pool and the water was nice and cool."

🏨 **About the Hotel:** This low-density resort, converted from an old schoolhouse, boasts 23 rooms with a charming blend of Suzhou and Japanese architectural styles. The facilities and service are top-notch, making it the perfect place to unwind. 🛏 **Room & Service:** We booked a courtyard room, which was spacious and quiet at 80 sqm. ✅ **180° Floor-to-Ceiling Windows:** Perfect for lounging in bed and gazing at the misty bamboo forest. The mini-bar offers complimentary Evian and Perrier. ✅ **Service:** Expect a free fruit platter daily and a complimentary 'goodnight soup' in the evenings. Staff are incredibly responsive – ginger tea is brought to you immediately after a swim, and a shuttle is ready whenever you need to head out. ✅ **Amenities:** The hotel offers a home theater, bar, heated pool, gym, billiards, a book bar, and a fantastic restaurant (it’s delicious and totally changed my perception of Jiangnan cuisine!). You can also borrow bicycles. It’s an all-inclusive experience, so you barely need to leave the property, though the spa is still under construction. There are also rice paddies and cherry blossoms; it must be stunning in autumn and spring. I’d love to come back! 🍽 **Dining:** You absolutely must try the 'Mountain and Wilderness' cuisine at Liyuan Restaurant. Many dishes require a day’s advance booking. The braised goose was incredibly tender, and the 'Yan Du Xian' soup was incredibly flavorful. Breakfast can even be delivered to your room – enjoying breakfast in bed while looking at the bamboo forest is incredibly relaxing.

The room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you! We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good. One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom. Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.

The hotel is located in a small village at the heart of the bamboo forest, which offers stunning views on the surrounding mountains and tea fields. The rooms are nicely decorated and pretty well equipped. The personal is very kind and try to be helpful. That being said, our stay was not as good as we had expected because the bedroom and the restaurant were freezing cold. When we first arrived in our room the heating was off so we had to turn it on, which was fine, however 5h later it was still only 17°c in the room and it was already getting dark… We complained and the staff kindly offered to upgrade us to a room which was supposed to be warmer and it was, but only by one or two degrees depending on the hour of the day. The restaurant was only 10°c so we had to eat with jackets and hats on. The floor heating had not been turned on yet unfortunately. So if you consider staying at this hostel during Autumn/Winter make sure to ask if the floor heating is on before booking.

Travelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, with a traditional Huizhou architectural style featuring white walls and black tiles. It's surrounded by rolling mountains and vibrant, layered foliage. We booked a mountain view room for two nights. Check-in was supposed to be at 3 PM, but it was a bit of a hassle. After several discussions, we finally got checked in at 4 PM. The room itself was quite spacious, and the hardware facilities were well-maintained, though they did show some age. Housekeeping was excellent, and they even offered turn-down service, including two small turn-down gifts. We dined at the Baiyun Hall, which was generally good, but our noodle order was initially incorrect and had to be re-made. Breakfast in the ground floor restaurant was of good quality and offered a wide variety of options. The hotel's recreational facilities, however, need some maintenance. The karaoke room, in particular, looked like it hadn't been used in a long time. Overall, the staff were good, and our butler, Summer Shen, provided excellent service.

For work reasons, I chose Manwanhua. The environment was exceptional, and I felt like I was on vacation. The tea plantations and buildings coexist harmoniously, and the infinity pool, reflecting the Metasequoia trees, creates a modern, stylish atmosphere. The housekeeping was proactive, responsive, and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the metal fence around the pool was a creative way to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. In the evening, the breeze blew, and gazing at the stars was a relaxing experience.

Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort — A Hidden Maritime Dream Among Mountains, Lakes and Tropical Gardens Stayed: 19–20 June This is not just a hotel — it is a revelation. A true hidden gem in Anji, the Anji Treasure Island Nautical Resort feels like stepping aboard a luxury liner that has quietly anchored itself in a world of bamboo forests and still, reflective waters. The entire resort is designed in the unmistakable shape and spirit of a ship, complete with maritime detailing, porthole-style windows, brass accents, and cabin-inspired interiors that make every room feel like a private suite at sea. From the moment you arrive, you are surrounded by tropical-style gardens and serene lagoons where ducks glide across the water and fish move like living brushstrokes beneath the surface. It is calm, immersive, and almost dreamlike. The service is simply outstanding — attentive, warm, and effortless. Nothing feels forced; everything feels considered. Breakfast is sumptuous and generous, with a spread that feels worthy of a grand voyage rather than a countryside resort. Every detail is elevated. The rooms are extraordinary — sleeping here genuinely feels like being inside a luxury cabin on an ocean liner, yet with the comfort, silence, and space of a high-end retreat. What makes this place unforgettable is its setting: tranquil and secluded, yet perfectly positioned to explore everything Anji has to offer. You feel away from the world, but never far from it. To stay here is to experience something rare — a place that doesn’t try to impress, yet quietly outshines everything around it. Many nearby hotels feel conventional by comparison; this one feels imagined, designed, and delivered with vision. 11/10 – beyond expectations, beyond category. A destination I would not just recommend, but insist on. Without question, one of my top travel discoveries for 2026. As we sat outside on the man-made beach overlooking the beautiful pond, framed by rolling mountains, a golf buggy passed by. The driver, Ben, stopped and kindly asked if we would like to take a ride around the hotel grounds. What followed was unforgettable. We set off together and immediately began to ascend into the mountain areas, where the landscape opened up into something extraordinary. We were surrounded by peach trees, olive trees, and endless tea plantations stretching across the hillsides. The scenery felt untouched and alive. Stunning waterfalls cascaded down rock faces, and wildlife was everywhere — fish moving through clear waters, turtles basking quietly, geese and ducks gliding freely across ponds and streams. It felt like a living ecosystem woven seamlessly into the resort itself. At the peak, we reached the most incredible lookout observatory and restaurant, offering panoramic views over Anji and far beyond. The vistas were vast and layered, mountains fading into the distance under a calm, open sky. To top it all off, there is even a zip line (rip cord) for those brave enough to ascend and descend in style — an exhilarating contrast to the serenity below. Throughout it all, Ben’s kindness, warmth, and care were extraordinary, and perfectly matched the beauty of the experience. His generosity of spirit elevated the entire journey. A stay that moves from ship-like luxury, to lakeside tranquillity, to mountain adventure — all within a single, seamless experience. Simply unforgettable.

This guesthouse is centrally located in the Grand Canyon, offering breathtaking views of the rainy canyon and sea of clouds right from your doorstep. The young butler was lively and enthusiastic, helping with luggage upon arrival. Check-in at the front desk was swift, and they explained all the essential information. They also offer services like booking a photographer and pre-ordering dinner. It's clear they prioritize hygiene here; the towels were pristine and neatly organized, and the bathroom had excellent wet/dry separation. The room even included disposable toilet and bathtub covers, plus disinfectant wipes, which really put my mind at ease regarding cleanliness. The butler was very responsive to messages, and in the evening, they delivered a complimentary sweet soup and sleep mask to the room. The restaurant served food quickly, and the stir-fried dishes had that wonderful 'wok hei' aroma. I highly recommend the pickled vegetable, mushroom, and shredded pork dish – I ordered it multiple times! The staff were very accommodating; I asked for extra dried tofu, and they specially sourced it for my dish. The basement has a good amount of space, and the mahjong room is air-conditioned with a ventilation system and a fast automatic card dispenser. I'd definitely choose to stay here again with friends if I get the chance. Oh, and they even provided a travel guide at check-out. I had two comfortable and relaxing days here.

This Club Med is truly a hassle-free option for family trips. 🥐 Regarding dining and space The breakfast was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the quality was consistently high. The kids loved it, and the adults were satisfied too. The room was very spacious, with an extra-wide bed, plenty of room for a family of four. The children had ample space to play in the room, and it never felt crowded. 🎉 Regarding parent-child activities It truly lives up to its reputation as the ultimate family resort! There were so many activities. Our children weren't old enough for the kids' club (it's for ages 4 and up), but I'm sure it would have been even more fun for them to play with other kids, and it would have given the adults a break. The evening activities were especially fantastic. Every night there were different themed shows and parties, with the G.O.s singing and dancing. My two kids were mesmerized, dancing along with them, and the atmosphere was wonderful! The children didn't want to leave until very late. 💖 Special thanks to GRO Eric Special thanks to our GRO Eric! He took care of us meticulously from check-in to check-out. When he learned we had booked two rooms, he specifically arranged generous fruit platters for both. Knowing we had two children, he also provided extra milk. These thoughtful details truly touched us! In summary, this was a trip where everyone in the family, young and old, was satisfied. Highly recommended for all families with children!

This summer weekend, we took our kids on a family trip, and I have to say, the service at Starlight Hotel was exceptional throughout! Our butler, Yolo, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She contacted me in advance with all the key check-in information and patiently answered every single one of my questions. Upon arrival at the reception center on check-in day, after completing the check-in process, a hotel shuttle took us to the cable car entrance. (Friendly tip: You can buy adult cable car tickets in advance. Children over 1.2 meters also need a ticket.) The hotel is located on the mountain, and after reaching the top via cable car, another hotel shuttle will take you directly to the hotel. We didn't have to worry about a thing! For activities, the 'Cloud Top Grassland' with its blue skies and white clouds was simply stunning in the summer. We were even lucky enough to see a rainbow 🌈 and some sheep passing by! We went grass-sledding, which the kids absolutely loved. There's also a 'Children's Paradise' suitable for younger kids, and various other recreational facilities to choose from. Even if you don't want to do anything active, just lying down and watching the clouds and scenery is a pure delight, looking at the rolling green hills in the distance – it was truly a 'Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains' painting come to life! We watched the sunset and sunrise, and in the evening, there was a drone show that was absolutely spectacular. It was a joyful and fulfilling day! As for dining, there's a buffet, a Chinese restaurant, and other food outlets like Papa John's and Honeymoon Desserts. There's also a Luckin Coffee in Xianxia Town.
