As a solo traveler, I was looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay, and this hotel exceeded all my expectations. The hotel is perfectly situated in a quiet yet accessible area. It’s just a 10-minute drive to the charming old town, where I spent hours exploring nostalgic spots, and the same distance to a modern shopping mall for some retail therapy. Whether you’re into history or shopping, the location is ideal. The staff here truly made my stay special. They were not only warm and welcoming but also went above and beyond to recommend great local places to visit. Their insider tips helped me discover hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. It felt like having a personal guide! Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here—my room was immaculate. The bedding deserves a special shoutout: the mattress was incredibly comfortable, the linens were crisp and high-quality, and the pillows felt like clouds. I slept like a baby every night, which is rare when traveling! The amenities at this hotel are incredible, especially considering the price. The common area had a washer, dryer, and steamer, which made packing light and staying fresh a breeze. The in-room elliptical machine was a fantastic touch, allowing me to keep up with my fitness routine without leaving my room. It truly felt like a home away from home. The area around the hotel is peaceful and serene, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Despite being so quiet, it’s incredibly convenient to get around, whether by car or public transport. All of these for under $50 a night?! I couldn’t believe how reasonable the price was for such high-quality accommodations. It’s rare to find a place that offers so much at such an affordable rate. "We are from Canada and this is our second time staying here. We were here last year with our elderly father in law and we very much enjoyed our stay so we decided to stay here again on the Executive Suite level. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoy the daily breakfast and then the included tea time, dinner and laundry service package which is fabulous and all for an unbeatable price! They even replace a button on your shirt if needed when they do your laundry! The heated multi-functional toilet is nice. Communication is not an issue as some staff speak English or we use our translator app with no issues at all. Amazing service! We quite enjoy the Gladden Hotel."

"It was pretty good. The service was good; they even took a picture of the bottom of my bag when I retrieved it after leaving it at the front desk. They greeted me with a smile every day. Breakfast was decent too—two dishes and two main courses. I even had such a large custard bun (or maybe it was a regular custard bun) for the first time! I also got to try the rice noodle rolls; I'd seen in short videos that there weren't many, but one order was almost enough for me. The braised pork knuckle rice was more substantial than what you'd find in northern China. Also, there was a small table in the room that turned out to be a Bluetooth speaker—I'd thought it was a table or a stool! The surrounding architecture was very distinctive. This was my first time in Guangdong; I wonder if I'll have the chance to come back again."

"Environment: Excellent location, 7 or underground parking lot at the hotel entrance, convenient, large room, excellent environment and atmosphere, the whole journey is pleasant and comfortable, afternoon tea is provided, and you can watch movies and drink wine on the 12th floor at night. "It's a residential hotel experience. The hotel is still very new. Although the facilities are not yet mature, the staff are very nice and polite. They will try their best to cooperate with you if you need anything. The location is in the countryside. The air is very fresh and suitable for those who like a quiet vacation. The afternoon tea provided is average. The breakfast is acceptable. The hot spring is a seawater hot spring and is very comfortable. You can also soak in the room, but it is limited to about 2 cubic meters per day (2 tanks). There are children who can play slides, rocking boards, fly kites, etc. There are many different TVs in the room. Channel... It’s just the New Year this time, so I’m really happy to be able to set off fireworks."

"The front desk service was great. It was my first time to travel in Jiangmen and I didn't know where to go. The front desk patiently explained to us the fun and delicious places around us, and upgraded us to a view room. We booked a king-size bed and upgraded us to a view room. There was also a bathtub in the room. It was really comfortable to take a bath after a day of sightseeing. We had a Chinese and Western buffet breakfast the next day before leaving. "Departing Guangzhou on Friday, it's a two-hour drive to Xinhui, Jiangmen! Traveling off-peak means fewer crowds and a better experience. [Color] My family and I have been to Gudou Hot Spring Town before. It's a 5A-rated, authentic hot spring, and soaking in it in autumn and winter is truly relaxing. [Let me see] This time, we booked the Gudou Royal SPA. The overall décor is antique, and the rooms are spacious and bright, with a balcony overlooking the hot spring area. The hotel has been open for a while, but it's clear it's been recently renovated. The lighting and walls have been updated and are much brighter than before. [Sun] The main reason we chose this hotel is its proximity to the hot spring valley. Direct access to the hot springs from the hotel makes it very convenient for families, and we can even soak in it at night. Gudou Hot Spring Valley is a famous destination with two springs: a freshwater and saltwater hot spring. There are over 60 pools, large and small, including free fish therapy, tangerine peel hot springs and dry steams, rose hot springs, Chinese herbal hot springs, and more. A tropical rainforest area has been added recently, and the waterfall spa is very comfortable [enjoyable]. After soaking in the hot spring for ten minutes, you can take a break and drink a cup of tangerine peel tea [coffee]. The temperature has been neither too hot nor too cold recently, which is perfect for soaking in hot springs. If you are traveling with the elderly, the Gudou Royal SPA Hotel is the first choice. It is super convenient to go to the hot spring area!"
