Our stay at Colorful Danxia Flower House Hotel was truly exceptional—easily a 5-star experience. From the moment we arrived, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even personally helping us carry our luggage upstairs. His hospitality didn’t stop there—he kindly assisted us in booking tickets for a local show and even drove us there himself, which made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. To top it all off, the owner even prepared thoughtful departing gifts for us, which was such a warm and memorable touch. His kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is an outstanding choice.

The hotel is very close to the Rainbow Mountains scenic area, with many restaurants nearby, boasting a prime location. Its secluded courtyard offers a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. The owner was very kind and upgraded our room. A handsome young man even helped us carry our luggage upstairs. The room was well-equipped, clean, and offered excellent value for money.

This was the best hotel of our trip! The service was incredibly thoughtful, and every detail made us feel at home during our journey. The hotel's style is elegant, grand, and full of artistic flair. To see the most beautiful views of the Rainbow Mountains (Seven-Color Danxia), we chose to stay near the scenic area. We checked out several hotels online, and this one had many excellent reviews, so we booked it. It certainly didn't disappoint – we were very satisfied! 👍👍 The location is superb, right next to the North Entrance of the scenic area, only a 5-minute walk to the ticket hall. There are all sorts of great restaurants nearby. The facilities are complete and brand new, including an automatic washing machine, which is super practical for long-distance travelers. This was an unforgettable stay, and we look forward to coming back again. We also wish them all the best with their business!

After comparing several accommodations for my trip to Zhangye Danxia, I chose Kaoshan Daying (Back Mountain Camp). The Starry Sky Yurt was what truly captivated me, and my entire stay exceeded expectations – highly recommended! Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye.

Choosing Yunqi as our first stop in Zhangye was a very satisfying experience. Our flight landed in Zhangye at 9:30 PM, and to save time and also to better experience the tranquility of Mati Temple before the crowds arrived the next day, we opted for a guesthouse within the scenic area. As one of the few guesthouses in the area, Yunqi was still in its trial operation phase, but as one of the first guests, our experience was excellent. We communicated with the owner beforehand via phone and WeChat, and they turned on the underfloor heating early. The room was clean and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a starry sky ceiling, offering direct views of the snow-capped mountains. The breakfast the next day was also plentiful and healthy, quite good considering the limited resources within the park. Early in the morning, we saw herds of cattle and horses grazing around the guesthouse, as well as marmots and rabbits. Choosing to travel during off-peak hours can avoid queues. The weather at the foot of the snow-capped mountains was also very changeable; we experienced the Thirty-Three Heavens Grottoes under a blanket of snow, in clear skies, and shrouded in mist – a truly worthwhile trip!

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the room layout is perfect, elegant and not lost, and the service is thoughtful, making people extremely comfortable. It creates a homely feeling for me, no matter how big or small it is, it is so impeccable. The room was very clean and the aroma was very comfortable. The decoration style is simple, and the quality of the overall service staff is also very high. Whether it is cleaning or check-in, it is very smooth and feels very comfortable. The room is large, the bathing equipment is good, and there are basic daily toiletries. excellent service. Yiyi and Coke have excellent service attitude, making guests feel at home and like it. The breakfast is very rich, the fruit is very fresh, and the combination of Chinese and Western basically meets the needs. The restaurant is elegant and comfortable for breakfast. Will choose to stay at the hotel again. All conditions are good.

The hotel's decor is upscale and elegant, full of artistic flair; every corner is photogenic. The rooms are spotless, the bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, and the toiletries are all from well-known brands, exuding quality. The service is impeccable; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping and security personnel is exceptionally friendly, responsive, and quick to help. They even provided a complimentary dessert in the evening—a truly thoughtful touch. The value for money is outstanding; whether for business or leisure travel, this is an excellent choice. Five stars wouldn't be enough!

Huaixi Town is close to the core reserve of Qilian Mountain National Park, with snow-capped mountains, grasslands, herds of cattle and sheep, and the natural scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. It is indeed Qilian, the paradise! I hope humans can protect this area! Although limited by objective conditions, the bathing facilities in the town are relatively average, but it can be seen that they are run with care. The electric heater must be praised! Breakfast is also OK. The restaurant here can make roasted whole lamb, which tastes far better than the northwest lamb roasted whole lamb in Zhangye city! Also, the price of horse riding here is cheaper than that in Sihai~
