"The front desk agent was kind enough to upgrade our room, and it was quiet, spacious, and bright during our stay. A couple of minor drawbacks: the cleanliness was a bit lacking when it got busy, and the showerhead in the bathroom was oddly low – I'm not sure what its purpose was. Also, the sink faucet had a design flaw; the water would easily splash out as soon as you turned it on. Overall, it was still a good stay. "This is an older hotel, and while the facilities aren't brand new, the service is excellent, with many thoughtful details. For example, every room has a humidifier, which is so important because it's incredibly dry in the Northwest. They also provide foot bath powder every evening – soaking your feet after a day of exploring is truly relaxing. They even thoughtfully prepared cucumber slices for facials, which was another lovely touch. Plus, they gave us a large, sweet watermelon. Overall, I was very satisfied. I'll definitely recommend this place to any friends visiting Zhangye in the future."

"I heard this is the best hotel in Zhangye city. It's quite large and relatively new. The front desk staff were very attentive, enthusiastic, and proactive. The hotel facilities are also quite modern, and they even have robots for room service, which ensures guest privacy and safety. When checking out, they offered a souvenir mini-fan, snacks, and water, which was a really thoughtful touch. However, the only minor flaw I found was the poor soundproofing in the rooms. I could clearly hear normal conversations in the hallway, let alone kids yelling in the morning – that actually woke me up! Perhaps they could look into adding some further soundproofing. 👍 Overall, my stay was very pleasant. P.S. The sour plum juice in the lobby was delicious, and it helped me complete my Zhangye 'punch card' album!"

We visited colourful Danxia and Mati temple- very well priced for transport (and everything organised for you). Level of English with some of the staff was good which was very useful for us. Also most comprehensive list of local food recommendations I’ve ever had! Nice vibe in the living area where there was free tea. Access to clean kitchen and fridge. Laundry available too. Bedroom was nice. Bathrooms really clean. Beds weren’t the comfiest but wasn’t a problem. Thank you very much to all of the staff!"

We were told that mosquitoes are common in Zhangye during the summer, so future guests may want to bring insect repellent. Overall, we had a pleasant stay in this relatively new hotel."
