"The hotel is in dire need of renovation. In its current condition, it doesn't feel at all like a 4-star hotel, but rather a 2.5-star one (it's barely three). The staff, especially the front desk staff, were incredibly kind and courteous, moving us from our original room, which, being on the top floor, was incredibly shabby. They then gave us a room on the first floor, which was large, but with torn curtains and fixtures that apparently date back to the last century. On the other hand, the hotel is very centrally located, close to both the sea and the historic center. I wonder: why not renovate the hotel?"
