"This is my second stay at Le Méridien Qingdao while visiting the city. It happened to be during the summer holiday, so the room rate was quite a bit higher than my last visit, which is understandable. The check-in was handled by a very enthusiastic young man. He was efficient, answered all our questions, and even proactively offered us complimentary breakfast, which we really appreciated. We also received a complimentary local Qingdao specialty drink upon check-in 🥤 The hotel itself isn't brand new, but overall, it still deserves a high rating. The cleaning staff on our floor always greeted us, and the room was tidied up spotless every day. The air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly, and the room size was also quite generous. I specifically chose a hotel with a bathtub, and with the added bonus of the hotel's own swimming pool, finding both at this price point during the summer holiday offers excellent value for money. The location is also very convenient, right next to Wanda Plaza, Joy City, and Hema Fresh. Getting a coffee, having a meal, or grocery shopping is all within easy reach. There are also several old-fashioned local restaurants nearby, so if you don't want to eat at the hotel, you can just stroll out and find plenty of options. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would likely consider staying here again on my next trip to Qingdao. Highly recommended."

"The room amenities were great, and laundry was convenient. The only downside was that the dryers were often in use, but luckily, the room had a dehumidifier. Hanging clothes in the bathroom with the dehumidifier running overnight worked wonders. My kids got several outfits dirty each day playing in the sand, and I was able to wash them all promptly. Breakfast was more Western-style and healthy. The adjacent music restaurant was fantastic; we ate dinner there four nights in a row, and both the Western and Chinese dishes were excellent. The children's toiletries and slippers were good quality, and the room came with pour-over coffee equipment and beans, plus a bed rail for the little one. You could really tell they paid attention to the details. The only slight drawback was the loud music program on Saturday night, with the speakers pointed directly at our room – it was too noisy. If you're staying over a weekend, definitely ask for an odd-numbered room to avoid the noise."

"Location: Close to the Olympic Sailing Center, Lover's Dam, and May Fourth Square, it's convenient for watching shows at the Sea Theater, all within walking distance. The dazzling night view is visible right from downstairs. It's also relatively quiet, and about a 25-30 minute drive to Qingdao Station if there's no traffic. Facilities: The room is spacious enough for a family of 3-4, and the view outside the window is great – what you see is what you get. Cleanliness: Pretty good. I stayed for 4 days, and the room was cleaned and tidied daily according to my requests, which was comfortable. Service: Before check-in, a concierge contacted me on WeChat, providing proactive and enthusiastic service. They even offered fresh fruit upon arrival. Breakfast: Available from 7:00-10:00. The taste was decent, mostly Chinese food, but the selection was limited and there was no coffee. The restaurant environment was average, a bit dim and dated. You don't need a key card to enter the elevator, and delivery drivers can come upstairs, which has its pros and cons. The hotel's overall decor feels a bit old-fashioned and dim, showing its age. Overall, it's still a good option, especially suitable for family travel."

Elly from Guest Relations was incredibly efficient in handling my requests; she responded instantly to my inquiries about late check-out and luggage storage, and her solutions were always reassuring. The reception staff were gentle and polite, proactively informing me about the pool and gym hours. The concierge team was reliable, expertly arranging taxis and providing precise directions to attractions. The room's soft furnishings and hardware were well-maintained, and the smart devices operated smoothly without any issues. The infinity pool boasts a luxurious design and consistently clean water, while the gym is massive and fully equipped with yoga mats and towels. The Executive Lounge offers excellent privacy, perfect for a quiet break. The staff there maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. The combination of the beautiful views and thoughtful service truly enhanced the relaxing vacation vibe."

"Surprisingly its was good experience, hotel is it traditional chinease style , and have authentic themes, room is ok a bit outdated , there is only 3floors, and the best to stay on 3d. Breakfast was rich. There is free Hafu experience, where make up artist make make up in chinease style and they give you dress and hair to make . Then photographer make nice pictures , 3 are free and other you need to pay 58 yuan for each. Also there is a nice traditional city around this hotel, its good to a walk around."

As a first-time visitor, I wasn't familiar with the local area or transportation, and online food guides were chaotic and unreliable, making me worried about picking the wrong places. Cherry understood my desire to try authentic local cuisine and went above and beyond by taking her personal time to hand-draw a food map. This map clearly marked genuine BBQ joints,特色混沌 (local specialty wontons), and other established local eateries in the Shinan District. She cleverly helped me avoid tourist traps, precisely noting store locations, opening hours, and average spending per person. Beyond that, she kindly advised on transportation methods and reminded me to steer clear of congested routes. The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. Our room was brightly lit with abundant natural light, and the soft furnishings were sophisticated yet minimalist. The housekeeping was impeccable, and amenities were always well-stocked. Cherry's sincerity shone through; there was no pushy sales talk, just naturally comfortable service. These thoughtful, personalized touches, though small, truly doubled the happiness of our trip. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers – it's reliable and won't disappoint. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!"

"The hotel is in a prime downtown location, right next to a bus stop, making getting around super convenient. The service was excellent; the staff were patient and helpful throughout my stay. My room had great natural light, and the windows were sparkling clean. The bathroom was well-designed with a separate wet and dry area, which was really practical. The cleaning staff were punctual each day and paid attention to all the small details, making me feel very comfortable and at ease."

"Room: The floor I was on was average. The soundproofing was decent, but the facilities are quite old. The TV was slow to turn on, and the bathtub faucet leaked. Both of the children's playpens provided had holes. Service: The service was very mediocre, I'd even say poor. I've stayed in many hotels, and this Westin really underperformed. Especially the front desk staff during check-in – they didn't provide any basic information about the hotel, like breakfast times or the pool's location. We had two kids, two strollers, luggage, and a bunch of bags, and all the staff completely ignored us. Not one person offered to help. The only positive point was the housekeeping gentleman, who was very diligent and responsible despite all the issues. Breakfast: We booked for three consecutive days and specifically included breakfast. The food selection wasn't very rich, and the service was still bad. On the first morning, a Saturday, we went down around 9 AM and had to queue. With the crowd, the service simply couldn't keep up. We were moved twice, and the young lady at the noodle station was flustered. On the second day, they couldn't even replenish cups and bowls in time, and many dishes weren't refilled after 9:30 AM. We just gave up on breakfast on the third day. All food deliveries were sent to a central locker, and we had to call concierge to have them brought up, which added extra work. For this price, this location, and this service, I'm extremely disappointed. Staying here for three days then moving to the Haitian hotel truly showed me that there's no comparison. The Haitian hotel wins hands down. This is a genuine review; it was so bad that I had to comment. The only benefit for traveling with kids was the heated 'vibrancy pool,' which the children enjoyed. That's it."
