"The staff was very friendly. We were already greeted with a small tea and the service was very accommodating. The most impressive was the swimming pool on the roof, from which you could overlook the mountains and the valley! The bar had very high quality delicious food and also cocktails. Very nice location, very good cleanliness and an extensive breakfast buffet. We regret not having booked for longer."

"The owner’s own house was changed, Sri Lanka’s local tyrant, two Land Rover. At the top of the mountain, the top floor bar is really view360. The only problem is that the curtains of the roller blinds are almost shaded. Chef is super good! ! ! Chef is super good! ! ! To be honest, the room is just like that. There is not much room for it. "The hotel is by the river, with a nice view and a relaxing atmosphere. It is recommended to book a dinner package, the dishes are good, and you don't have to spend time going to the city for dinner. "Hotel was prepared and ready for my arrival. Had issues with connection to wifi so had to contact the reception. No hairdryer in room and had to request this even though it should’ve been there already. Ordered room service, it came cold and items forgotten from order even though order was repeated back to me on the phone. Breakfast was average for a Radisson. Seating options strange with big long tables reserved for groups rather than small families, couples and singles. Tuktuk touts waiting outside hotel to pester you for your destination. It was clean for the most part and well needed after a long day of travel but I wouldn’t return. Not sure how this hotel is #1 in Kandy but I was left feeling disappointed."

"The passion fruit, lemon and mint ice cream that came instead of a welcome drink was absolutely delicious! It was a homemade ice cream on a stick, and it was probably the best thing I ate in Sri Lanka! The interior of the hotel was very tasteful and had a great atmosphere."

"The location is excellent, within walking distance of major destinations such as shopping malls, Kandy Lake, and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Hygiene is acceptable, but the room had a strong odor, and the facilities are rather old."

"Stay for three nights. The hotel is heritage not recommended for a person who is afraid things stay alone. The location is perfect at the front gate of the temple of tooth relics. However, one male GSA do not respond well as I told him that the telephine is broken, the fridge inside is very hot and the light in the toilet is broken so many times. Until I checked out the telephine is still broken, the fridge inside is still very hot. But the light is fixed by an electrician who was recommended by male maid not GSA."
