"Rucksack is the biggest Hostel in Siargao, it offers private rooms for couple, family or group traveller and Dormitory Type rooms for Solo Traveller like me. Dormitory bed is comfortable with thick Hotel bedding, ventilation is very cool. Price is also great specially if you are budget conscious . Rucksack has its own Pool, Restaurant and Bar. Plus activities for guests every night. You will definitely enjoy your stay."

"I had a good time at Casavia Siargao. The location is ideal if you want to surf at Cloud9: you can walk there in 5 minutes, and it's much quieter than General Luna but still close enough if you want to spend the night eating/partying there. The private room was pretty nice and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom could use some love, but still it was ok. The staff is nice and always willing to help, and the hostel has several social nights organised via a Whatsapp group. While I didn't take part in those events, it's a convenient way to meet other travellers. My only remark was about the noise: my room was facing the upstairs social area and, despite the signs specifying the quiet time (22pm onwards) and also a 500PHP fine for people not respecting it, every night I had people making phone calls, playing the guitar or shouting loudly after midnight (or later) in front of my room and there was nobody around to remind to keep the voice down. That was annoying."

"I stayed at this hotel with my sister for three nights and everything went very well. The hotel is located on a beautiful, quiet, and pleasant beach. It's also very well situated, close to the restaurants, bars, and lively areas of Siargao. The room is comfortable, although the bathroom is a bit small. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and always available. The breakfast is varied and of good quality. The main area for improvement is housekeeping, which could be done with a bit more attention to detail. Apart from that, the stay was excellent."

"Second time around. Some places are just too good not to revisit and Kermit is one of them. The cozy tropical vibe, friendly staff, and seriously delicious food (hello pizza and pasta) made this another perfect island day. The place is beautiful. Laid-back, full of greenery, and buzzing with that signature Siargao energy. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Note: The road outside isn’t cemented, so it’s a bit of a bumpy ride getting there, but 100% worth it once you arrive. Just think of it as part of the adventure. 😉"

"Overall a very good resort, located on the main road close to all the action and night life. They provide a free tuk tuk to take you to a particular place on this road whether it is a restaurant or the Cloud nine beach. The resort has its own small beach. The villas have a fan and air con.. The bathroom has 2 showers, one inside and one outside which is nice.The shower heads though are due for decalcification to provide a good and comfortable shower. Be aware that villas that are located close to the road are quite noisy. Breakfast is buffet style and is served near the pool. If you arrive before the official check in time of 2pm and even if your villa is ready, you will have to pay an extra fee to get the key."

"- Prides itself in being a party hostel, but is also suitable for those just looking for a nice place to stay - they have a restaurant with a good variety of food at good prices - facilties are good - comfortable beds, lockers, warm showers - wifi is not bad, good place for those working from abroad. - has events that you can sign up for - island party hopping, etc."

"Impress with the service here from start to finish. Very clean and well maintained accommodation worth the $$ staying here. Security was 24hr. Pool and views. I do wish the price for the restaurant was less, as it would attract more customers food was good and the sour drink was my fav. It was quiet when we went which was relaxing and chill. If you’re looking for that vibe! Just on the backroad."

"It is an unexpectedly good hotel. Originally rushed to the Internet celebrity Bayud, but after seeing the house, I felt that the price of Bayud was high and the room was small, so I turned my head and looked for this one on the same beach, and I was very satisfied! The style of the hotel is more traditional, all room types are the same and facing the sea! There is no pressure to choose barriers to stay. The whole room and living room are well-lit, very quiet, large floor-to-ceiling windows, fully equipped, from surround sound bluetooth speakers, water dispenser, refrigerator, coffee machine, everything is available, facing the sea in the morning, waking up in the sun, sitting in the living room listening to music and eating breakfast (Room service is available) The experience is great. Before leaving, the lady boss arranged for me to have lunch in the seaside pavilion. I was in a hurry when I checked in. The proprietress still arranged very meticulously. I have stayed in many hotels. This is the only one to send a welcome letter. There are also serious fruits on the plate. The Korean food in the restaurant is easier to meet the Chinese taste. Invited me and my friends to join their barbecue dinner, the Mindanao beef served in the shop is too plump and juicy! Come again next time"
