Faro Hotels with Bars

"The hotel was easy to find and in a great location right in the heart of the old town. It’s about an 8-10 minutes walk to the marina, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The room was tidy and comfortable, although it wasn’t cleaned during our stay, so it seems you may need to request housekeeping if you want it. Breakfast was quite simple with just the basics. We also appreciated the 12 pm check-out, as it gave us a bit more time to rest before our afternoon trip."

"Not my first time in Faro but chose this hotel for the rooms with balcony marina view. The hotel has a rich history and has been around since 1960s and its undergoing refurbishments in some areas. The old rooms look dated and could do with better cleaning as previous occupant’s hair was found in the bathroom. We loved the design & aesthetic looks of the new refurbished areas such as the spa, bathrooms, gym, pool & sauna but shame that there was a water leak in the indoor pool ceiling and rusty bits on the stainless steel railings. Considering it’s completed in Aug 2025, the hotel may need to do more due diligence to ensure the safety of guests. As a non Portuguese speaker, I felt that the check-in staff can make more efforts in being warm and welcoming. I noticed that this hotel is one of the few hotels ive been that check-in staffs are seated instead of standing, making the process somehow casual & less welcoming. I also called in to make a request for a late check out and received a hostile response by a lady who said ‘No. We need the room back’. We just got married the day before arriving & we are here to also celebrate my honeymoon & partner’s birthday. Weeks prior to arriving, I put in a request if the hotel could do a birthday special for him but this was not acknowledged. As an avid traveller who has stayed in many hotels around the world, I am a little dissapointed with the lack of personalised attentive service provided by the hotel. If the view & location isn’t a concern, I recommend the nearby 3HB hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. AP Eva senses have a great deal of potential, but they may be complacent at going beyond, as they are currently the only hotel at Faro marina. Additional employees like the elder gentleman pianist & hotel hairdresser were the warmest I’ve come across."

"Not so great second stay here, was woken in the night by noisy people in the kitchen then a woman on her phone in the neighbouring room talking on phone until late; just a barn door separating the rooms. I made her aware I could hear everything…. Another problem is that if you have to get to the airport early, a Bolt is 15€ from here, probably best to factor this into deciding to stay here. It is generally good for one night otherwise…"

"An art-filled hotel, about half an hour's drive from the airport. Stayed at the hotel for two nights, the front desk service was warm and friendly, especially the clerk Diogo, who recommended two tours for us when we missed the reservation, making our trip rich, exciting and affordable. One of the projects we were delayed at the beginning, Diogo actively coordinated the store, adjusted the time, and helped us complete the trip smoothly. Faro's sun, sea, beach, hotel service are a good memory. recommend."

"Superb location and beautiful view from the rooftop bar and restaurant. We stayed over New Year's Eve, and there was a DJ set and a big concert for two nights, which made it very loud in the room. However, that's not something the hotel could do anything about, so at least it was fun to celebrate the New Year. The room was okay, but housekeeping services were rather slow. Overall I can recommend this hotel, watching sunsets at the bar was the highlight of our trip in Faro."

"The hotel room was confortable, sufficient for what we needed, which was simply a place to spend the night. The food wasn't that good. But considering the price, it was acceptable. Overal the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"After visiting Benagil Cave, we checked into our hotel in the evening. Faro is a small and rural area, so my expectations for local hotels were low. This 3HB hotel was quite good in all aspects, located in the old town's tourist area (pedestrian street). We stayed on the second floor, and the pedestrian shopping street was right outside our window. There were many places to shop and eat within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel was clean, the room was dry (the small guesthouse we booked with the local tour guide was supposedly very damp), the facilities were complete, the minibar was free, and the breakfast service was quite good."

"Nice stuff and a really good experience in check in check out. The hotel is located close to the city centre and has an honest price. It's not the newest, as the floor and bathroom should be renovated but it's not so important if you are looking for a good, safe, cleaned place to stay for a very convenient price."

"I have to say the A/C need to be sorting out. On a hot day/night the air conditioning is not good enough. No Google pay available for payments in the hotel. I like this place because it is close to the airport. Walking distance to it."

"The hotel was very clean, staff very welcoming and allowed us to check in way before time. It’s close to the airport as well as a big shopping centre so everything is in close proximity. The staff cleaned my room every day I was there and we had light and food when the whole Portugal had power outage. Will definitely recommend"
