Faro Hotels with Bars

"Unfortunately, the stay was not very comfortable. The room heater was not working, making the room extremely cold during winter. There was also a very loud noise coming from the air conditioner; this was reported to the staff, but no action was taken. The room itself is very small, and the shower area in the bathroom is also quite cramped. While the hotel is affordable, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. That said, the receptionists were kind and polite, which was appreciated."

"We loved this hotel by the Marina and the special welcome to my husband, who turned 60 on the day of our arrival. The kind attention was much appreciated. The room and bed were comfortable. The indoor Spa was beautiful (we did not use the outdoor pool, but it looked nice too). The breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choices, a superbe view, and amazing live piano performances every morning from a very talented pianist (Fernando, if we are correct) . We could not have asked for more! Very convenient location for everything (old town, island boat tours, ferry, excursions, train and bus stations). Perfect!"

"The most satisfactory hotel in my European trip so far, although it is the cheapest hotel. Several advantages: 1) In the center of Faro Old Town (of course the old town is very small). I think instead of going to those not-so-good Internet celebrity restaurants such as taberna ze-ze to eat expensive and shoddy food, you can try the main meal in the hotel. The lodo restaurant recommended to us by the hotel is good. The basic element of evaluating a restaurant is bread. If the cold bread (and sliced ​​bread) is served with cheap boxed butter, the probability of stepping on thunder is extremely high, such as ze-ze. 6) The staff is very friendly, the number of service staff is sufficient, they are well trained and smile 7) There are dozens of lounge chairs on the rooftop terrace, just imagine the grand occasion next month Those who come to Faro are probably tourists who like to relax or have been to many places. "Nice stuff and a really good experience in check in check out. The hotel is located close to the city centre and has an honest price. It's not the newest, as the floor and bathroom should be renovated but it's not so important if you are looking for a good, safe, cleaned place to stay for a very convenient price."

"The hotel was very clean, staff very welcoming and allowed us to check in way before time. It’s close to the airport as well as a big shopping centre so everything is in close proximity. The staff cleaned my room every day I was there and we had light and food when the whole Portugal had power outage. Will definitely recommend"

"The hotel room was confortable, sufficient for what we needed, which was simply a place to spend the night. The food wasn't that good. But considering the price, it was acceptable. Overal the hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Great location! Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures) Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay!  Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior  Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked.  Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches  Faro has my ♡"

"Social events were brilliant! Staff very friendly and the hostel had a very social atmosphere. I liked that the rooms had privacy curtains. Everything was clean. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. It was a bit noisy at night but from people outside - not the fault of the hostel. It was also a bit hot in the room but reception offered to help with any AC issues."

"This hotel is located on a small hill in Estoi, overlooking the houses of Faro. The hotel has preserved centuries-old Portuguese antique architecture inside and outside. The rooms are modern in design. Very nice. Non-guests need to pay 3 euros to visit. There is a large swimming pool and front and back gardens. Very nice. The room is big enough with a balcony. Good breakfast. Worth staying."

"Beautiful hotel in an excellent location on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of many local shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, historical sites like the old town, and the local bus station which is handy for a bus to the airport. The hotel is very clean and well-presented, and has a very nice restaurant and rooftop bar. The rooms are large with a luxurious feel, however a gap under the door let in a significant amount of light and noise from the corridor, although the corridor and other areas of the hotel were generally very quiet. The hotel restaurant is good, however doesn't really have much for vegetarians, and nothing for vegans, and is generally limited in choice, which is disappointing as the dining room is very nice, and the staff are excellent. The restaurant is also more expensive than many of the surrounding restaurants which offer broader menus and more choice for those with dietary restrictions, so was not very appealing. In all, I found this hotel to be very pleasant, and good value for money, with excellent, friendly staff who accommodated me well with their perfect English."
