"Not my first time in Faro but chose this hotel for the rooms with balcony marina view. The hotel has a rich history and has been around since 1960s and its undergoing refurbishments in some areas. The old rooms look dated and could do with better cleaning as previous occupant’s hair was found in the bathroom. We loved the design & aesthetic looks of the new refurbished areas such as the spa, bathrooms, gym, pool & sauna but shame that there was a water leak in the indoor pool ceiling and rusty bits on the stainless steel railings. Considering it’s completed in Aug 2025, the hotel may need to do more due diligence to ensure the safety of guests. As a non Portuguese speaker, I felt that the check-in staff can make more efforts in being warm and welcoming. I noticed that this hotel is one of the few hotels ive been that check-in staffs are seated instead of standing, making the process somehow casual & less welcoming. I also called in to make a request for a late check out and received a hostile response by a lady who said ‘No. We need the room back’. We just got married the day before arriving & we are here to also celebrate my honeymoon & partner’s birthday. Weeks prior to arriving, I put in a request if the hotel could do a birthday special for him but this was not acknowledged. As an avid traveller who has stayed in many hotels around the world, I am a little dissapointed with the lack of personalised attentive service provided by the hotel. If the view & location isn’t a concern, I recommend the nearby 3HB hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. AP Eva senses have a great deal of potential, but they may be complacent at going beyond, as they are currently the only hotel at Faro marina. Additional employees like the elder gentleman pianist & hotel hairdresser were the warmest I’ve come across."

"The hotel spotlessly clean, and offers excellent facilities. The staff are warm, friendly, and welcoming. The breakfast has a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. This was one of the best hotel stays I've had, and I highly recommend it!"

"Excellent hotel in great location near the bus and train stations. Services good, breakfast good selection. Pool nice but too cold for us. Some days sun beds were all gone only small number available for such a large hotel but nice seating area available with gear views."

"The hotel is very close to the Renbone Church. The room is large and clean. Since there is no 24-hour front desk, it is booked through Trip.com and the supplier. It is useless to use whataapp. Finally, I can call the hotel by myself and make an appointment for the storage of luggage in advance. The boss is very enthusiastic and the hotel equipment is very complete. Recommended"

"I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is just a 4-5 minute walk from the bus stop. It's also within walking distance of Faro's old town, the beach, and the churches. We booked a hotel apartment. The living room was large with a sofa, and the open kitchen was fully equipped, including a dishwasher. We bought plenty of groceries at a nearby market and cooked ourselves a delicious dinner. The bed was very comfortable, and it was a quiet night. The central air conditioning was especially nice in winter. If I ever come back to Faro, I will definitely stay at this hotel again."

"A charming, clean country house in the middle of farm land with beautiful views of the mountains and water from the top level. Pet friendly and farm animals nearby to mingle with. Definitely recommended."

"Notre séjour a été cours mais nous avons trouvé une vraie chaleur humaine et à coup sûr nous reviendrons. Le cadre est fantastique, les pieds dans l’eau eau ! "The apartment is easy to find, the environment is quite good, the room is large enough, the facilities are complete, the sanitary conditions are very good, and glass bottles of water and fruits are provided. Overall very satisfied. The only slightly inconvenient thing is that we need to call the store in advance to get the password to enter the apartment and room. Maybe it's because we arrived a little late."
