"The room was really spacious, with two beds – one double and one single. It had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides and a small balcony. There was a kettle, a fridge, and the Wi-Fi was excellent! It even had an entryway. Honestly, it was incredible value for money. I forgot to take photos!"

"This hotel is in an excellent location on a very popular street that leads to ocean views. Despite it being in this area, my room was surprisingly very quiet. Service is nice and friendly. The only downside was that when taking the shower I had to be careful because the hot water was way too hot and required constant adjustments to stay at a good temperature."

"I really enjoyed my stay here, the location, breakfast, the reception service is just second to none 😊👌 I was only disappointed because I didn't have a balcony as I saw when I was booking and maybe it's better to have a fridge refilled with water and couple of drinks which customers can pay for at the end of the stay. "Would definitely recommend this place. The stay was very comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices. Staff were excellent and helpful. Tea/coffee supply was comprehensive. Mini fridge was available for extras like drinks, chocolates etc (at extra cost ofc) (Minor things but- ) TV in the room was a bit old-school though. Plug sockets were very limited in the room. Also lacked instructions on how to operate the air conditioning in the room."

"I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer."

"We specifically chose a hotel in the Expo district and were very satisfied with the safety and overall environment. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The aquarium, World Park, and shopping center are also all within walking distance. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Since our flight was at 9 PM, we requested and were granted a 1-hour late check-out."

"We spent 2 weeks travelling in Europe and this hotel was one of the best value stays of the trip. The staff were excellent and let us check in early. The cleaning staff did an excellent job of cleaning our room each day, even late afternoon. The room was clean and well equipped. There was a fantastic view, it was possible to even see the water from our room. The location is just away from the hustle and bustle of the city without being too far away. The area felt safe and seemed more like a business district. The free breakfast was excellent with a wide range of pastries and some hot food. We had such an excellent stay that we decided to go full into the IHG rewards program. Thank you!"

"First and foremost, the room is really nice but the hotel got to carry out serious review on its service standard.  After travelling to so many countries and staying in so many hotels, this is the first time I encountered that a hotel that doesn’t loan an umbrella to its guests on rainy days.  Next, we were given welcome drinks which we had them, sitting in the hotel lobby which is next to the bar counter.  Guess what, a staff came over and rudely told us that “we are NOT ALLOWED” to sit here and consume the welcome drink and have to do that at the bar counter”……yes, NOT ALLOWED are the exact words used.  Well, I am convinced that I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and neither would I stay in this hotel again."

"Have a great stay at Turim Europa Hotel. Right from the bell service personnel, front desk (special thanks to Clara and her team members for their exceptional service), bar tenders and housekeepers. The hotel is surrounded by great varieties of restaurants. You MUST try Cardo Restaurant to taste the traditional Portugese cuisine and drinks. The service is excellent and the food are delicious. In addition, it’s only take 5 minutes walk to the Parque metro station (Blue line), which is one of the major tourist attractions line and easy accessible to others line intersections. And less than 5 minutes walk to the Pink metro line to get to the airport from the hotel. Thank you Trip.com for providing with the great accommodation selection on your site.
