Lisbon Hotels with Bars

"The hotel's facilities are pretty good for Southern Europe, comparable to a Quanji Hotel in China. It hasn't been open long, so everything still feels relatively new. However, there are a few issues: First, the room doors offer absolutely no soundproofing. If other rooms slam their doors or are noisy, you'll hear everything crystal clear in your own room. Also, this area is quite close to the airport, and the soundproofing isn't perfect, so you'll hear airplane noise. I always travel with earplugs, so this didn't bother me too much, but without them, it would definitely disrupt your sleep. Secondly, there are clear management issues, leading to poor attention to detail. For instance, the pictures show bathrobes and disposable slippers are provided, but they weren't. The hand soap dispenser bottle and the liquid inside aren't compatible, making it very difficult to dispense. For a four-star hotel, they still use simple sheets instead of duvet covers – just two sheets sandwiching the duvet – so your body can easily come into contact with the duvet insert, which might not be washed as frequently, raising hygiene concerns. Finally, the hotel lobby bar is huge, but it's empty at night, and they surprisingly don't allow guests to bring outside food in. We had packed a roasted chicken and wanted to eat it in the open-air lobby bar to avoid making our room smell, but we were actually kicked out. This is the first time I've heard of a four-star hotel refusing to provide any public space for guests to eat. Are we supposed to eat on the street? It felt very disrespectful. However, I visited during the off-season, and excluding city tax, it was less than 600 RMB per night. So, these minor flaws were somewhat acceptable. If the price were higher, I would definitely recommend looking for other, better options."

"Conveniently located very close to the metro station. A taxi ride to the airport costs only 6 euros, and the old town is easily accessible via the metro. Both the room and bathroom are very spacious. The breakfast spread is excellent and varied daily, offering different options. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. It's a much better option than staying in the old town, where hauling luggage up and down narrow, cobbled streets can be exhausting. Furthermore, the old town's narrow roads often lead to traffic congestion, especially when traveling to and from the airport."

"Highly recommended, stay here with confidence. Although the room description lacks information on the size, it's actually quite spacious. It has air conditioning, and the bathroom is clean and tidy. It's close to both Entre Campos metro and train stations, and there's also a bus to the airport. The hotel's breakfast has a good selection, including scrambled eggs, stir-fried mixed vegetables, fresh fruit, and even a small portion of salmon. It's very tasty. There's no shortage of restaurants nearby, and since it's not a touristy area, most of them are run by locals, offering good food and affordable options."

"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by recommending great restaurants nearby. What was truly thoughtful was that they even called ahead to confirm the restaurants' opening hours before suggesting them to me – a very considerate gesture. Breakfast was also superb, and the staff even thoughtfully packed some food for me to take away. The room itself was large and very comfortable! All in all, it was a stay that far exceeded my expectations!"

"We stayed here for 3 nights for vacation, below are our experience and reviews. Cons: 1. Complimentary Water (only 2 during entire stay): • Complimentary water is only provided on the first day, but this was not communicated at check-in. • The vending machine water is overpriced (4.5x supermarket price). • Clear instructions at check-in would allow guests to plan ahead and buy water elsewhere. 2. Reception Service: • No guidance on how to call the front desk from the room,resulted in us going down to reception for assistance. • Unprofessional receptionist behavior: • A receptionist prioritized personal conversations with other guests over assisting me, even after noticing I needed help. • My query took less than a minute but was delayed unnecessarily, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. 3. Housekeeping Issue: • Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, housekeeping knocked repeatedly and did not respond when asked who was there. • The door lacked a peephole, which raised safety concerns as we couldn’t verify who was outside. 4. Taxi Drop-off: • The hotel’s entrance is on a ramp near a traffic light, making it difficult for taxi to stop directly in front of the door. • Guests with heavy luggage may find it inconvenient as taxis often park farther away. Some Pros: • Excellent location near a park with a charming Christmas market. • Safe area with plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets, making it very convenient. • Decent-sized rooms with ample space and a large desk for working. • Good breakfast options."

"The hotel is convenient to major attractions, the subway station and bus stop (28E) are nearby. The room is clean and tidy, the staff is quite friendly. The room has a balcony to enjoy the city view."

"I was staying here during the power outage, the staff are lovely and really took good care of us. Despite the outage, we still have electricity. Managed to sleep confortably aftwr that long walk fr the city center."

"I booked this hotel as my first and last day of stay in Lisbon as it has a direct metro line to Lisbon airport. It is also accessible to the famous Tram 28 and 15 minutes walking distance to downtown. The concierge and reception staffs were very welcoming and helpful during my stays. The minibar is well stocked and all beverages are complimentary. The bed is comfortably and toiletries provided were great!"

"Great location, excellent rooms, comfy beds. We had an issue when we were there that the elevator to the pool bar was out of order. So we either had to climb seven flights of stairs or go down to reception who would then use their key card for us to go to floor 7 and walk up to level 9. The pool was great, sometimes the service at the bar was a bit lacking and one or two of the people serving looked miserable. A little smile would have been nice. Unlike the breakfast service, where the gentleman and lady who showed us to our table were really happy and helpful. All in all a good place to stay."

"The hotel's location is decent, just a 10-15 minute walk to Liberty Boulevard, making it convenient to get around. The rooms are fairly spacious, and the cleanliness and facilities are average. The front desk staff are friendly; one of the staff members is learning Chinese and greets you in Chinese every time we meet."
