"It was a perfect stay for us. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room when we learned that it was our anniversary. The location is great and there is a metro station nearby."

"This hotel is in an excellent location on a very popular street that leads to ocean views. Despite it being in this area, my room was surprisingly very quiet. Service is nice and friendly. The only downside was that when taking the shower I had to be careful because the hot water was way too hot and required constant adjustments to stay at a good temperature."

"A renovated, unpretentious hotel with excellent service. Details like second room cleanings and slippers and chocolates made the stay even better. The location was perfect for me, but because I had to give a seminar at the university across the street, it's a bit far from the city center. However, there are good metro connections."

"I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer."

"I really liked this hotel. Perfect location to go to the museum, cable car and oceanarium as well as shopping centre and restaurants. The service in the hotel was good! And the stuff was very friendly. Definitely I recommend this hotel for your stay in Lisbon."

"The service was very good, and I felt at home. Especially when our suitcase was broken before we left, the staff kept trying to find a way to fix it for us, which was very touching. The breakfast was rich and the dining environment was also good👍 The room was a little small, and the air conditioner was super hot and the temperature could not be adjusted down. We could only open the window in the middle of the night to cool down😬"

"First and foremost, the room is really nice but the hotel got to carry out serious review on its service standard.  After travelling to so many countries and staying in so many hotels, this is the first time I encountered that a hotel that doesn’t loan an umbrella to its guests on rainy days.  Next, we were given welcome drinks which we had them, sitting in the hotel lobby which is next to the bar counter.  Guess what, a staff came over and rudely told us that “we are NOT ALLOWED” to sit here and consume the welcome drink and have to do that at the bar counter”……yes, NOT ALLOWED are the exact words used.  Well, I am convinced that I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and neither would I stay in this hotel again."

"We stayed here for several nights and did extend our stay. Location is good for tourists. Free water is provided and air conditioner is good. Rooms are large, beds are comfortable, and bilingual staff is helpful. We did not eat here; there are many restaurants nearby."
