"This hotel really amazed me and my family really enjoyed the stay here. It has very modern designs and guess what, they even have a speaker in the toilet 🤣. So don’t worry if you’re watching a live match and need a toilet break, you still have the speaker to keep up with the game. Definitely recommended and looking forward to my next trip to Lisbon."

"Small but beautiful hotel, strategic location along Avenida Liberdade. Warm and reserved check in staff, but excellent attention from restaurant staff! Delicious breakfast.
Room was small but clean and well-equipped. Though the shower area tends to flood and spill out onto the floor if you take a long shower, even with the glass door shut. Does get quite wet and slippery. But we weren't too bothered by it.
Great choice for Lisbon, would recommend."

"The front desk of this hotel is very small, similar to that of a three-star hotel. The attitude of the front desk staff was quite indifferent, and we didn't feel any warmth at all. It seemed as if our arrival had added to their workload. They assigned us a room for disabled guests on the first floor and told us the hotel was fully booked, but that we could possibly change rooms the next day depending on availability. Perhaps they felt guilty, knowing that the room they gave us wasn't great. The most uncomfortable part was that the bed was small, and the mattress was of poor quality, making it hard to sleep well. The cups didn't seem very clean either, and the worst part was that the two thin blankets directly caused us to catch a cold.
Additionally, the air conditioning in the room didn't work well.
The bathroom in the disabled room was not designed with a wet-dry separation, so the entire bathroom got wet when the shower was turned on. Moreover, there were no anti-slip measures at all! It was terrible, and we definitely won't be coming back! （Photos are he normal room on the next day)."

"The location of the hotel is quite good, not too far on foot from the subway (~5 min.), there are convenient service shops around: laundromat, small supermarket, a few restaurants (BRUTI is absolutely the one to recommend, the food is really good, the prices are ok - not cheap but not overpriced compared to the quality you get).
The service given by the people working at this IBIS was fantastic! Huge praise to Davi, Isa and Fernando! (If you have the chance to meet them, say hello to them for us ;)
About the room, it was a bit of a let-down: quite small, cheap furniture which felt old, no small fridge (although there is room for it, and with the supermarket nearby, it would have been nice to put some of our own purchases in a fridge), ... it could be improved.
All in all though, a good stay, but mainly thanks to its personnel."

The hotel is surrounded by great varieties of restaurants. You MUST try Cardo Restaurant to taste the traditional Portugese cuisine and drinks. The service is excellent and the food are delicious.
In addition, it’s only take 5 minutes walk to the Parque metro station (Blue line), which is one of the major tourist attractions line and easy accessible to others line intersections. And less than 5 minutes walk to the Pink metro line to get to the airport from the hotel.

"The hotel is somewhat distant from all metro stations. If you have large luggage, navigating the pebble-paved streets can be quite challenging, so taking an Uber or taxi is highly recommended.
Upon arrival, we enjoyed delicious welcome desserts in the room. The amenities include a kettle for boiling water and a complimentary bottle of water. But no tooth paste, tooth brushes or slippers are provided.
The water pressure in the shower was weaker than I’d prefer, and the bathroom sink counter is too small, making it difficult to place items. Handwashing often resulted in water splashing everywhere.
On the positive side, the bed was very spacious, which we greatly appreciated.
Luggage storage is free. Luggage is kept in the luggage room and have to wait for the staff to open the door to get the luggage. There are sometimes only 1 staff in the front desk and if you are in a hurry and if no one happens to be in the reception area, you may have to prepare more time for this. We have waited around 10 mins."

"Located in the center of Lisbon, the location determines the room price. Parking is also expensive, 40 Euros a day, which is actually just parking in a nearby parking garage. The room is small but clean. The only regret is that due to changing my itinerary, the hotel would not modify my check-in date or allow me to refund. I had to pay again and book another two days, wasting more than 3,000 RMB."

The location is ideal—within walking distance of major attractions, great restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to discover Lisbon without needing a Taxi/Uber/Bolt.
The rooms are modern, stylish, and spotlessly clean. While they are on the smaller side, they’re perfect for travelers who want a comfortable place to rest after a full day of sightseeing. If you’re planning to spend most of your time exploring the city rather than lounging in your room, this hotel offers great value for money.
The service was outstanding. The front desk staff spoke fluent English and provided excellent recommendations for places to visit and eat. They were also very accommodating—when I requested a different pillow for better comfort, they replaced it immediately, and when we asked for mint to be brought to our room, they did so at no extra charge. Small gestures like these really made us feel welcome.
Overall, Moon & Sun Hotel was exactly what we were looking for—clean, comfortable, and centrally located, with a high level of service. It’s a great option for couples or anyone who wants to explore Lisbon with ease while staying in a well-priced, stylish hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserI spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts:
PROS:
- Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport.
- Nice decors and overall pretty clean.
CONS:
- The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room.
- Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.

GGuest UserThis is a very cost-effective hotel in Lisbon. It is the best and most convenient choice for family travel. It has a refrigerator, an induction cooker, pots and pans, and even red wine glasses. This is really surprising. The decoration of the hotel is very high-quality, and every waiter is enthusiastic. A handsome guy at the front desk even shared the snacks he bought with us, which was really heartwarming! I stay here with my family every year.

SSalopian125The Masa Hotel and Spa is in an excellent location and easily reached by the metro station about 10 minutes walk away.
The room was exceptionally clean and the room had a mini bar, safe and was supplied with bath robes and disposable slippers. Also a litre bottle of water was a welcome addition.
In regards to the breakfast. The first morning was perfect and the selection was very good. However the second morning I went earlier and it is best described as a chaotic mess. There was a large party of travellers who all descended the dining room at the same time and there was simply too many in at the same time. Maybe somone should have staggered the amount allowed in at once and allowed people to get their breakfast choice in a relaxed fashion rather than it resembling feeding time at the zoo!
I stayed over the weekend the clocks went back and was reliably informed by reception staff that in Portugal the clocks went back on the Sunday night going into Monday which was proven to be completely inaccurate and could have caused problems for ongoing travel if they had been believed!
It must be mentioned that the major disadvantage of this hotel is that it lies directly under the flight path of Lisbon Airport and from early morning there are plane after plane coming very frequently into land. Even with the windows closed it's still very noticeable.
It's obviously not the hotels fault where it's situated, but if you want a peaceful stay then this hotel really isn't going to give you that.
The spa and swimming pool I can not comment on as never used. Neither did I use the dining room for an evening meal.
Despite the negative comments it is a lovely hotel simply spoiled by being under the flight path of the main airport.

It is also very convenient because there is no taxi in the city to go to the airport. The breakfast in the hotel is very good, the variety is rich and the quality is good, and the service is particularly good. SANA is a local hotel chain in Portugal, and its quality and service are quite guaranteed. The hotel is located on the flight network where planes land and take off, but the soundproofing in the room is good, which is perfect if you want to watch and take pictures of planes.

We were starving when we arrived at the hotel, so we rushed into the hotel restaurant for lunch set (EUROS 19 with main course, salad bar and tea/coffee) , rather nice. Overall, value for money hotel, will come back.

GGuest UserThe location was good and the people at the reception were lovely. But, I would say those are really the only positives. First of all, I wouldn’t recommend booking though this site, as it claims to offer the option to pay on checkin, but charges you before. This happens because this website is a 3rd party, they book a room for you through Expedia. They will claim it’s just on hold - spoiler alert, it’s not. But I digress. Back to the hotel, the walls are paper thin, I had the pleasure to be awakened by my neighbours doing the devil’s tango as if they were in my room. The toilet also made weird noises non stop, like water filling in, it was quite annoying too. The cleaning ladies were lovely and really thorough with the cleaning and making sure everything is as clean as can be, however the infrastructure is so old that no matter how much cleaning is done, some things need to be changed (sink full of scratches, toilet full of scratches and with old rust stains in bottom, towels smelling funky sometimes, shower without a detachable handle, no place to put your shower gel, even though there were holes where some sort of holder should be). Long story short, the hotel really needs some renovation because it is called “suites” but feels a lot like my college dorm. Another rather shocking thing for me was that the shower gel/shampoo bottles were refilled, not swapped, which for me feels super unhygienic, specially since they were very tiny bottles (10-15ml). Also, not all outlets were functional, which is rather annoying in 2023. And last, but not least, 25€ per person for an airport transfer? Am I taking a limo? An Uber is 15€ tops in total. In summary, lovely service but the rooms need some TLC. I would book again if the price was as good as this time since the location is really great, but I wouldn’t splurge on it.

The blanket was very thin and even with the heat on, I had to fold the blanket in half so that I would be warmer. The room was quite noisy, I could hear people talking in the hallways, their rooms, and there is quite a lot of traffic by the elevator. The bathroom was ok, the shower water pressure was nice but the temperature control was a bit difficult to turn. The sink water did not have any warm water option, and it felt quite wasteful every time you needed water from the sink it would keep running until it turned off. The wifi was spotty at times but when it did work it was fine. They had a bar and welcome drink which was nice, the outside patio also looked cute. The breakfast was a bit disappointing: toast, cereal, some fruit, and cucumbers and tomatoes. One gentleman asked for coffee and the attendant pointed to the machine and said ”it's all there”, but when I looked at the machine, all the coffee options said ”unavailable”. The machine needed some cleaning as well. The selection of teas were quite nice though. The location is decent, about 10 min walk from the start of the Avenida da Liberdade. They do have a kitchen on the ground floor if you preferred to cook your own meal (which would have been better than the disappointing dinner I had). They offer walking tours too which is cool. Typical hostel experience.
